This review is long overdue. I've known Dr. Wong and Claudia for over 15 years and they are the kindest, most honest and wonderful people I know. Whenever I've had questions or concerns about my dental health, Dr. Wong has always taken the time to answer thoroughly and honestly. He's not in the dental practice out of greed and has in fact talked me out of procedures I thought I needed! And Dr. Wong is always right. He genuinely wants to help people. Over the years, I've had two painful dental emergencies and Dr. Wong or Claudia has always quickly returned my calls and fit me into their schedule the very next morning. My dental health is great because of Dr. Wong's skill and talent. And Claudia is one of the friendliest and helpful people I know who always tries to work me into their busy schedule when I need to reschedule my appointments. With dumb luck I found this place. Dr. Wong and Claudia are like family and it's always a great experience coming in for an appointment. I am the type that needs to be tranquilized to see a dentist triggered from my bad past of horrifying dentists. Well I am glad I do not need to be shot down to be looked at here. I have been going to Dr Wong and Claudia for over 20 years. He really does great work. I get my routine teeth cleaning and have gotten root canals and porcelain veneers done from him. I am very content with his work. His prices are very reasonable if your insurance don't cover. He also takes PPO. read more

My wife and I have been coming to Dr Wong for 3 years now. He is absolutely the best dentist either of us have ever been to. I never looked forward to going to the dentist before and found enough excuses not to go for 7 years straight. Dr Wong is the dentist that had to deal with the mess of that 7 year hiatus and he gave me a deep cleaning that was so thorough and yet virtually painless. I was hooked. Simply the best. Referred to me by 1800 dentist. The staff and dentist wowed me in about 2 visits (I think I went there a total of 4 or 5 times)... no longer go there because I moved out of the state. He is compassionate, charismatic, and made me feel comfortable... even after I cried like a baby when he told me a root canal was the best option for me. To be honest, it wasn't as bad as people say it is. He numbed me so much (because I asked for it) that I couldn't feel 1/2 my face for most of the day.. The friendliest and most supportive Dr & staff in town. Dr Wong has been my go to dentist for four years and it's it's always a wonderful experience, despite the needles and drills when necessary. They take care of your parking fees during the business weekdays. However if you go Saturday, you'll have to find street parking since the building's parking garage is closed. Unless you're in need of heavy surgery, the one hour parking meter on the street should be enough for you. read more

Dr. Wong's website proclaims that he caters to wimps and that was the perfect phrase to convince me. I would be happy if I never had to visit a dentist in my entire life but unfortunately that's just not the way things work so Dr. Wong is a valuable consolation prize. The office is friendly, modern and the dentist does great work. He is knowledgeable, gentle, easy going and appointments start on time. They have full schedules though, so plan your visits at least a month or more in advance. read more

the best dentist i have ever met!!! on our first visit we were squeezed into a schedule where dr. wong had to leave at 4 to pick up his adorable kids (just for 2 days) because there were no faster dates available. so we got there around 3:15 but the procedure ended up taking a long time. it practically ended around 5:30. in the beginning i did tell him that we can just do an ray consultation and write us a prescription for a pain killer and do the procedure next time. but he insisted since my husband was is pain. throughout the procedure dr. wong was very patient and concerned about my husband's pain. it was smooth and painless (my husbands words. even though it was a root canal). the whole time we can tell edmund wong was all about the patient and that he loves his job. the staff (aka: claudia). the most sweetest girl ever! (at a dental office)... i've already introduced 5 of my friends to him. they are making appointments leaving their own dentist!!! and it's only been few days since i've been to his dentist for the first time. our family loves this guy! no need for words. the price is reasonable and the payment plan is so convenient for us too! read more

If I could, I would only give this dentist a 1/2 star! I had been recommended to Dr. Wong's office by a friend who sees him for her dental needs. She said he was very good, however I never got to experience his services since he and his staff decided to take an extra long lunch and just blow off my appointment that was scheduled for 1pm. I arrived to his office at 12:55pm. After knocking and trying the door to find it locked, I called his office phone and predictably got the answering machine. So I waited...and waited...and waited until 1:10 rolled around and then I re-tried his office door and phone, both to no avail. I had driven from the Westside so I decided to wait a little longer to see if anyone would arrive or answer the phone. By 1:20pm, after several phone calls and a frustrated voicemail, I left Dr. Wong's office wondering if I had gotten the date mixed up or the appointment time wrong. It wasn't until ~1:30pm that I received a call from Dr. Wong's office, during which the lady said laughingly "That the office had been out to lunch and FORGOT about my appointment." As a soon to be medical provider myself, I was appalled by her unapologetic attitude and their unprofessionalism. Needless to say, I am currently in the market for a different dentist. read more

Not happy with the Dr. After he put a crown on my front tooth. I noticed it was not right. A few months later it was getting worse by crowding the other. I could see that it was larger than the other. I made an appointment to see him. I went in and sat for an hour waiting for the receptionist, who never showed up. Now the other tooth has chipped due to the cap pushing against it. I'm now looking for a malpractice lawer. read more
