Dr. Park has been my dentist for years . She is the first dentist I have actually consistently gone to, partially because she is a great dentist with extremely good credentials, she makes sure I am flossing, and Anna at the front desk double and triple checks my routine checkup schedule because she knows I'll probably forget. Stacy usually does my teeth cleanings and she is super gentle and very polite! With regular flossing I make her job easier :) meaning she doesn't have to use the dreadful power cleaner machine thing. A few weeks back I had an incident where I had to call the emergency number because I had broken a wisdom tooth in half, chipped the tooth it hit and shattered my molars. Dr was so concerned she came in on a day off and put together a treatment plan and let me know the damage. She moved some things in her schedule around and fixed it as soon as she could. I can't even tell anything happened at this point. I trust Dr Park and Her team more with my mouth than myself. I am super thankful to them!!!!! read more

Here I am 12 years later from my initial review and after taking a break from dental work (dental insurance issue) and going to someone closer, during a period with so much uncertainty of the state of the world aka covid, I happened to break a crown and opted to re-do an old root canal after consulting with Dr Park. After much dental research and feedback from multiple specialists I felt the most comfortable to express my concerns, have her listen and be open to give me the choice to decide on what is best for me. This time around i have a deeper awareness as an individual and because I'm in the health and wellness trade, I'm even more conscious and curious of having a holistic approach when I can. The work that she did then with my other crown I'm still pleased with and the work that she did on my new crown with the latest technology we were even happier. Out with the old and in with the new. I still look forward to going to see the dentist if it's Dr Park because I know I will leave satisfied. She's detail oriented and tells it like it is which is so important as a specialist in this arena of health. She replaced all of my amalgam fillings with white fillings (color match is perfect), they fitted my night guard, and I've had Botox injections for my TMJD. Doctor Park is the best!!!!! She saved my Christmas break and I would give her 10/5 stars if I can. She cares deeply about her patients and I am so grateful! Last night my crown for my right front tooth fell off and so I called her in the morning, not knowing her holiday schedules. Although the office was closed, she called me back and was willing to help me out! She was just there to do some paper work and totally didn't have to help me out but she did some emergency procedures to help my crown stays where it is so I can still show my face to my friends!!! Meanwhile she educated me why the crown fell off, about how my root canal was infected and so I can make my own informed decisions on how to proceed afterwards. If I had been a Neanderthal with life expectancy of 30yrs, I would've been fine without Dr. Park, since I made it so far. But I need my teeth a little longer than that, so thank God I met her!!! She's the first dentist to actually tell me why I'm having the problems I'm having instead of just telling me I have to pay X dollars for whatever procedures. My roots are coming out causing intense sensitivity, and other dentists would tell me I have to pay to cover them. I asked them why is it happening, no answer. My teeth are chipped but nobody asked me why. My fangs are gone but I didn't really stop to think about it... life has been extremely stressful. But apparently it was the stress that was making me grind my teeth so hard that's causing all of these problems and she asked me all these questions and did diagnostics things, and EXPLAINED to me in a way that made sense. Finally, a great doctor! I got the exposed roots covered (she did a "pretty" job, hehe, matching the colors and all ), got fitted for a night guard, and now try to stop everytime I find myself grinding and clenching my teeth during the day. I am going to say it... I hate going to the dentist!! Who does right? Well, actually, I need to change the phrase to, "I used to hate going to the dentist!" Please, allow me to explain Why. Just like Lucy, who've left an excellent review of Dr Jen Park and the staff already, I also came to this dental practice due to an emergency. I won't go into the details as it brings back a bad memory, but suffice to say, I was well taken care of and quite happy with the result. They were able to accommodate me on the next day, though I did have to be there for many, many hours due to my unscheduled treatment in-between other patients with advance appointment. All the staff members, including Lan, Elizabeth, and Anna, are super fun, friendly, caring, respectful, informative, and skillful. They all seem to be very happy to be working there taking care of patients, and this says quite a lot. Happy staff means better service to the patients and job well done. This is, of course, on top of fun, friendly, respectful, caring, informative & knowledable, super straight forward without gimmick, and extremely skillful Dr Jenn Park Cruz. Let me tell you.. She is 'Gooood'. short and sweet. There is no up-sell push here from my experience, and Dr Jenn Park and staff only recommend the required, necessary treatment. Also, their scheduling, reminder, and follow up is quite efficient. You may get quite a few phone calls and text messages than expected or wanted, but I suppose it's not a bad thing as taking care of health of your teeth and gums are extremely important. I may be pumping up this place too much you may say.. but I truly think they deserve it. Otherwise, I won't be trusting Dr Park Cruz & Staff with my teeth and gums!! Any downside? The building the office is in has seen its better days. It's getting worn down quite a bit and it's clear the building management doesn't care about the maintenance of the building in both appearance and amenities. Also, you do have to pay for the parking - No validation in the building parking structure. The office itself, especially reception/waiting area can also modernize and improve, but perhaps not doing so could keep the cost down to offer a high quality service without any gimmicks or up-sell at reasonable prices. Dr park cruz is an amazing dentist and person. My first appointment with her was really for me to get a teeth cleaning and she spent at least 1.5-2 hours with me going over my X-rays, tooth brushing habits and what her Recs were to help preserve my teeth for the long run. Her dental assistants are very sweet too. My 2nd appointment was to ask her about my front teeth pain/throbbing I had. We went over everything and nothing appeared to be wrong. But she still suggested certain things which I agreed to do and within a day the pain started going away and by one week, it was all gone. I can't believe it. I just really trust her and honestly I don't trust most dentists! There is one who I had a pretty poor personal experience with and I'm pretty sure it will translate to his recommendations and diagnosis as well since he is a con. PM me and I can let you know who it is. The fact that he has a lot of 5 star reviews albeit a few 1 star ones, makes me shudder. It's been almost five years that I have been seeing Dr. Park. I have to admit that she is one of the funniest and most talented and passionate dentists you could ever have. As far as payments, I like how she gives you options of how you would like to pay for your dental procedures like cavities, crownes, implants, etc, by providing affordable plans of what is most convenient and affordable for you to pay. We live in a bizarre country where capitalism is hurting us and many people just want to do things in a rush, not really having that motivation to talk and work with you, and your needs and only care about themselves and the money they're earning each day they simply just steal money from your pocket. Dr. Park is by all means the contrary of that. She is willing to work with you and makes sure that you understand the procedure and billing options of whatever is best for you. I love it when she does the teeth cleaning, she does it so well, she's pulled a wisdom tooth out, barely felt any pain the next day, she's also done my cavity fillings and metal fillings, excellent job! Another note, Dr. Park listens to your dental or medical concerns of what you would like to address, and I think that Dr-Patient interaction is very essential in any medical or dental places. I feel more comfortable talking to her about my oral issues, than I do with my own MD. Her receptionists as well as her dental assistants are awesome and passionate about their work! As much as I enjoyed this place's friendly service, I had to knock a star down due to mixed time scheduling and miscommunication on insurance coverage. When I called and explained for my insurance, it was clear that my insurance is good. While it is not required of them to let me know that they are "out-of-my network," I would have appreciated if they let me know ahead so I wouldn't have to be "surprised" about my dental cleaning fee. Normally, going to the dentist is not something I enjoy, but Dr. Park's office is different. She has a warm and welcoming staff and personally I find that going to her office is a pleasurable experience. I feel safe going to my checkups, even during these COVID times. She does a good job maintaining safety precautions and protocols. I got my front toof chipped after just 1 game of basketball. Super exciting. Homeboy just had to hustle while I'm trying to just sweat a little. I could go on and on about the mouthguard I should have had, the rebound I wasn't even trying to get, my perpetual habit of breathing through my mouth, but you're not here for that. Dr. Jennifer Park-Cruz was recommended to me by a friend who described her as competent and awesome. I had low expectations because come on dentists are dentists. Dentists are like the broccoli of foods groups. There's better broccoli sure, but broccoli is broccoli. It ain't no burrito, but let me tell you. Dr. Park is a burrito! She's awesome, kind, and chill. She isn't like other doctors who may treat you like a patient or an experiment. She really empathized with my horrendous looking face and celebrated with me after a successful temporary crown and my new slightly less horrendous face! I've visited her a few times now for an x-ray, follow-up, root canal, and porcelain crown and each visit has been a pleasure. Let me start off by saying. I was absolutely terrified of going to the dentist due to a past traumatic experience. I was also nervous about going during a pandemic but I could no longer put it off. After my first appointment, my fears and anxiety vanished. Anna made me feel so comfortable and assured me that I would love Dr. Parks and she was right. Dr. Parks is extremely friendly and funny! She is very detailed oriented and thorough when explaining treatments and procedures. She is gentle and always checks to make sure you're okay while she's working. I had a root canal done, some cavities filled and I barely felt any pain. I always have a pleasant experience when visiting Dr. Park's office. Her office is clean and Covid safe. Temperatures are taken upon arrival, hand sanitizer is available, masks are worn at all times and social distance is enforced. Everyone is always friendly and very professional. My partner had been having a severe toothache for quite some time, so when I finally convinced him he needed to go to the dentist, we were referred here by my brother. Since we don't have dental insurance, I had a few questions regarding costs. The receptionist was so friendly, and patiently answered everything for me. She even helped with the scheduling since she said it might need additional time, so she recommended a later date just so he could get taken care of all at once. I wasn't there for the actual exam, but my partner says it was A+. She let him know his options, and was down-to-earth about what needed to be done. Part of the reason we avoid the dentist is because they always try to sell you on needing thousands of dollars worth of stuff, but she'll let you know the necessities. He came home a bit sore, but within a few days he was feeling so much better! She even personally called him to check up on him and see how he was healing. He has a follow-up appointment in a few weeks, and actually can't wait to see her again to help take care of his teeth. Growing up, I hated going to the dentist. The annoying sounds of the machines grinding against your teeth, the dryness when the dentist places the cottons swaps and soreness and aches are the worse. To tell you the truth, the last time I went to the dentist was when I had braces. I hated the dentist. That all changed when I first met and was introduced to Dr. Park by my work. Dr. Park and her staff/team have deliberately executed the business concept of having the best customer service and standing out above the rest/other dentist. When you first walk into Dr. Park's office, it is very clean and feels like you are walking inside your own home. You honestly feel welcomed and does not feel like an ordinary boring dentist. You will obviously find the basics that include magazines, chairs, a clock, and the receptionist's desk. When I first spoke to the receptionist, Ana, she had me fill out the new patient forms and went over my insurance thoroughly on what was covered and what was not. This was very helpful and understanding as I don't work for the insurance, and showed me a breakdown of all the things/procedures that my insurance covers. Apparently, my insurance covers most so I don't have pay anything out of pocket, except my yearly co-payment which is just $50. After filling out the forms, I was greeted by Elizabeth, whom took me to the X-ray room. I was surprised at how fast and efficient she took the X-rays, since I honestly hate and want to vomit when my previous dentist placed the sharp plastic cards inside my mouth just to take the x-ray. Since Dr. Park has new equipment throughout the rooms, taking X-ray was not left out. Elizabeth placed a small device on the inside of my mouth and the X-ray machine took care of the rest. Literally, I was off to my own room within 5 minutes or less. Once in the room, Dr. Park arrive a minute later to overlook my X-rays on a TV that is probably bigger the one I have at home. This made my experience even better as I've never seen my own X-rays so refined on a big screen. She thoroughly and very detailed went over my X-rays and mentioned all the issues I had (cavities, wisdom teeth, etc.). I never expected her to explain as my previous dentist never did. I felt special and one of a kind. Right after giving me all my faults, she explained what she was going to do to start fixing all my issues. Dr. Park had her hygienist proceed with a deep cleaning on top and bottom. On the 2nd visit, it was the Scaling. On the 3rd visit, another cleaning. These 3 visits honestly have changed my oral health including bad breath, ugly nasty tar and all the ugly stains I had. I have my 4th visit coming up and honestly can't wait to see Dr. Park and her team. The only worst part of this experience is that I should have known Dr. Park and her team when I was growing up. First of all I want to say Dr Park is awesome and 100% amazing. I have been seen her for over three years. She helped me with teeth cleaning, cavity filling and wisdom teeth remove... She is nice, patient and responsible. I really like her. I am really grateful for her help. But the reception is a NIGHTMARE!! The first time I meet her (around 2016) I know I need to be CAREFUL. So I always came 5 mins earlier before the appointment to ask about charges. I always confirmed with her again and again to avoid misunderstanding. (because my friends had complaint they got extra bills after 2~3 months). Today I was 3 mins late for my appointment. So I directly got my teeth cleaned rather than confirming with her. Big Surprise! After two years of insurance covered teeth cleaning, I need to pay $75 . Because obviously my insurance is not good enough to cover the cleaning fee today and I should have known it. Or according to her, my insurance company should have called me and say " well do not go to Jennifer Park-Cruz cause today we can not cover the cleaning fee" Ok I shouldn't assume my insurance would cover teeth cleaning even though for last two years it does. I shouldn't be late for 3 mins. I shouldn't directly get my teeth cleaned but have asked every details and confirmed with her . Now she told me I need to pay for my X ray last year! Cause my insurance didnt cover all of it. The weird thing is, I was told by the staff that X ray is free. I remembered that I asked the staff why I need X ray to do teeth cleaning. " It is free. Why not getting one?" said by the staff. So i agreed to get the X ray. I trust Dr Park. She is supper nice and I want her to make more money. Now the receptionist told me it is my fault. I have the rights to say no but I didnt. And I should have called my insurance to confirm the fees rather than believe in them??? She even questioned which staff member told me that. Well I guess I need to video record my conversation with staff. So that I can prove I am not lying. Besides, my first X ray is free. ( because I checked with her three times?) She also told me she is super nice to give me a discount. But on the service which I didnt ask for. But for the miscommunication between her and the staff members? So in her opinion, staff members are not trustworthy. So I would still strongly recommend Dr Park for her service. But I advice you to bring a camera to record the conversation. Or you could write down important notes and ask the reception to sign and date it. Plus you should never believe in staff members but her about fees. Cause obviously, staff members don't know how she would charge. Otherwise, be ready for unexpected bills after the service, or even 3-4 months later. read more

Been coming here about a year and let me tell you they are all so kind & professional i have no reason to go to any other dentist ( they don't do ortho ) but, that's ok because they do everything else and make sure you're painless and set you up for excellence. Dr. Park and her staff are AMAZING! I was referred by a friend as my husband had a slight fear of dentists. Friend kept saying....trust me ! Mind you my husband had an unfinished root canal and refused to go because of that fear. So I made an appt for him and he did great and raved of the service. Guess what I did, I switched dentist to come to Dr.Park. I too had a great experience. She is very thorough and you get the sense of that undivided attention because you do receive just that. I am not someone who gets excited about medical checkups in general and dentist visits are no different... but her staff was very gentle and friendly, and Dr Park is awesome. Since then, I had a little billing problem (my mother told me she would help pay for some dental work, and then changed her mind after it was done). In spite of that, Jennifer's office was super respectful and kind. I continued to refer about seven of my friends to her because of her outstanding work and the good experiences I had there. Recently, I broke two teeth at work. Since my work agreed to pay for it, I asked Jennifer if she would be willing to do the work for me despite me still having an outstanding balance I was struggling to pay.
