Was advised that the system was old and needed to be replaced . Scheduled to replace system in April. Now it's July and the system shut down because of water in the drain line. Drain line was not replaced when the old system was. I've been told if it continues to get blocked they would give me a quote to replace it! I have been paying maintenance for years. I had a problem with the a/c unit and it is under part warranty until 2031. EDS has taken approximately 4 weeks to replace electronic boards and they are at a loss on how to fix the a/c unit and from a cost standpoint they don't stock the parts. EDS is now hoping the manufacturer's tech support can teach them what to do next to try and fix the a/c. I am sincerely and profoundly disappointed with EDS. read more

The person in charge of pulling the permit for our $12,000 AC installation (overpriced) pocketed the money instead of getting the permit. We have the house on the market for sale now and the company has continued to attempt to redeem themselves to get the permit however they did not even show up for inspection of the AC like they're supposed to, and the inspection failed because it was a terrible job with a lot wrong. I consulted a free construction law firm and they said basically we could sue them which I 100% will if they don't get their act together. this has been a nightmare. my advice is don't use this company. read more

There is nothing more frustrating than coming home after a 10-hour flight to realize you have no hot water. This is what happened to me early this morning. Boohoo. So I called EDS in the morning and was on the schedule for early afternoon. The person that took my call was super pleasant and even asked me to make sure that my circuit breakers were all okay. To me that means they aren't trying to scheme me out of my money. I always go to worst case scenario in my head so I asked if they would be able to replace the water heater today if necessary and they said yes. That's super important to me since who wants to wait for hot water. The tech arrived at 2:30 and did his repairs in about an hour. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable. One thing I really liked was that they text you once the technician is on his way with a picture of the tech and his location. This is super helpful for me because I work near my home and would rather not sit at home waiting for a service call. I am going to keep their number handy so I can continue to use them in the future. read more

EDS installed a new A/C unit in 2019. In the span of a year or more, I've had to call EDS around 20 times to fix items on the unit. i lost count but it could be more. it was always something; motor, coils, leaking, etc. Other than the original unit being old, i had poor drainage which i asked to be corrected during the install. This was not done and was just one of the many issues. unfortunately EDS relies on entry level staff to do the install with spotty supervision from a manager when he was there. The company agreed to extend the warranty a second year due to the many issues in year one. For the good, the field technicians were very responsive and courteous. They were always mission focused to get you up and running. It's pretty bad that i knew most of their staff. Big shout out to David Mullin. He's the best. He gets 5 stars. The last straw was when my A/C went down over a holiday weekend due to a blown motor and i was forced to pay $150 for an emergency fee to have a technician come to replace the part. keep in mind that the unit was still under warranty and the motor failure had nothing to do with negligence. i called to ask if the motor blew the day after install, would EDS still charge me.... customer Service said, "that's a good question". So is it the products being installed or the service being offered? read more
