Her vision is .75 in that eye meaning she could use glasses. We had the other eye treated elsewhere and the vision is clear in that eye, no glasses needed. Astigmatism in the eye that Dr M treated is also worse than the other eye. A friend says there he has messed up her treatment as well, but don it know the details. Not all but most of the staff members are just not nice, especially the optometrist-Wanda. The prices of frames/lenses without good insurance are just through the roof. ($325 for the pair my daughter needed) so I looked online to potentially order her a pair from a website for a cheaper price- the website needed her pupillary distance but the office wanted to charge $25 to give it to me (not listed on her prescription) I was also told it "generally isn't given out to pediatric patients and would have to ask Dr. Bulan if it were ok" do they do this purposely so you have to buy glasses from them? My insurer VSP has a $ 10 copay for eye prescriptions and they do not cover retinal screening. EE is in-network for VSP. Front Office insisted the screening and fee is mandatory. As a matter of principle I refused to walk away and insisted on speaking to the OD. After a long argument I was given a form where I acknowledged having refused retinal screening and got my prescription done. SO choose to skip this place or be ready for a fight to get your $ 39 waived by the good Doctor! Oh yes - he did tell me that if I asked nicely (!) they can easily waive the $ 39 fee. But then you need to complete the long argument with the Front Office first to reach the OD... well .... you choose :-)

I saw another doctor who had a scribe. I left without seeing Dr. Wright. I find it strange that when a patient makes an appointment with a specific doctor and waits until there is an opening to see that doctor that the patient is seen by someone else. I am unsure if the doctor I saw is an optometrist or an ophthalmologist. I addition, it is important for people to know that they add a percentage to credit card payments and do not take checks over $100. Fortunately I have a debit card.

Paperwork was sent to them on Wednesday and a appointment was made for him Friday morning at 7:45am. We arrived this morning for them to turn us away because "they didn't get paperwork" for his doctor fast enough, and BY THE WAY, the laser is not working. When he asked why we had to travel all this way for them to turn us away (we live 30 mins away), they LIED to his face and said they tried to call him several times to cancel the appointment. When my husband said he has proof they never did that, they didn't care. He wanted to showed them the voicemail they left for him Thursday to confirm his appointment, and no where in that voicemail was a cancellation or ANYTHING saying the laser was not working. Who does this? I can't believe a business like this exists. My husband is a very patient person, and I've never seen him this angry. This office is run by pure stupid people, and I hope the women who lied to his face get fired.
