This summer I had a Fraxel:Dual laser treatment at a very reputable dermatology office close to Dr. Kramer's office (it was NOT Dr. Kramer's office, just a high profile competitor in the same area). After my face shedded the brown scab layer, I thought I was healing fine and that my hyperpigmentation was finally going to be an issue I could leave behind me. Well, about 2-3 weeks post-procedure, my face developed tiny bumps and began itching like a MOTHER!! Nothing in the entire world made it better. I went back to the office where I had the fraxel done and they shrugged it off as a common part of the healing process, tossed me some random samples of corticosteroid cream and sort of made me feel like an annoying idiot for even coming in. The next day, I woke up with BLOODY SCRATCH MARKS all over my face; apparently, it was so itchy that while I slept I must have literally clawed my face off. Thanks to positive reviews on Yelp, I rolled the dice and called Dr. Kramer's office as soon as they opened -- and they were so empathetic they agreed to squeeze me in the same day -- a Friday, no less! They were all sooooooo nice and professional and truly made me feel like I was a guest in their home. The office is super clean, tastefully decorated and just gorgeous. Since this was a last-minute appointment made out of desperation, I had no choice but to bring my 10 month old and 2 year old. It was literally a circus and the staff (especially Dr. Kramer) was over-the-top kind to my wild little munchkins. Best of all, Dr. Kramer really cared and patiently listened to everything I had to say about my skin (history/concerns/regimen/goals). Within a few days of following his treatment plan, my skin was itch-free. Today, I am about 4 months post-procedure and I will be going back to this office to see how they can help with my bumpy face texture, as it has never resolved. I will never get another treatment at the office where I had the fraxel. They don't listen and don't care. I am so grateful for Dr. Kramer's office! **On a side note: I have since learned that a pretty large percentage of patients develop a rough looking, "orange peel" texture after receiving a fraxel laser treatment. PLEASE be advised and do your research before getting anything like this!!!! I wish more than anything I would have NEVER done it!!** read more

Update 2/21/17 This office continues to be probably one of the best skin care offices in the area. In the past, I only went in as I needed to, with always a good experience from gentle and kind Dr. Kramer. Now, I'm in the time that I need regular facial work. Frankly, I'm not exactly a twenty something anymore. Jacque Thomas is the very knowledable Esthetician at his Laguna Niguel office, probably in the whole area. She has been there for years, and, in that time, has done just about everything in the skin world. She has taught, and still continues to offer her tremendously helpful and simple advice to her clients. They don't push products on you to buy at all. I have to tell you how thrilled I was with the Hydrofacial today. Costs about $150.00. They offer a series of these for less. Unbelievable change in my skin in one hour. Couldn't believe it. My neighbor and husband were just stunned, saying I looked ten years younger. So happy! All I can offer is: GO! read more

i went the first time with no insurance and it was amazing. i went back to have surgery, and now i had insurance. my insurance doesn't send out cards with my name only me husbands name. the office manger refused to call the number on the back to see that i was in fact enrolled, she refused to go online and check she did nothing. she said she was to busy, there was one patient sitting in waiting room and everyone was checked in. i left and found a new office that actually checked my insurance. this is the worst office EVER. i wouldn't go back here if the doctor himself paid me to.. read more

I am an alopecia areata patient and went to see Dr. Kramer for steroid injections in my eyebrows and eyelids. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in answering any questions I had. I have had some bad experiences with dermatologists in the past and was a bit nervous to go to one again. I had a friend recommend Dr. Kramer and his PA Lauren. I was so pleased with the mole removal and skin check that I decided to treat my rosacea. Lauren performed d PDL laser treatment on my face for my rosacea. It was painless and I was able to go to work the next day. Lauren and I agreed that since I work with the public that I would have several laser treatments instead of just one so that I would not have any dark areas from a deeper treatment. Since then I have had another treatment and can not believe the difference in the way my skin looks. My face is not bright red anymore. I am going in for another treatment this month and I am sure that I will notice once again a reduction in my redness. I will have to have a total of between 4-6 PDL laser treatments this year for my rosacea and am pretty confident that it will be gone.
