Love this place...always get my frosting and decor here. Great prices and everything tastes great.

There is no other store like Edwards in the Central Valley, the selection they have is awesome. I have been a student and a customer for many years now, and have never encountered poor customer service. The people who work there are all experienced bakers and decorators, and never fail to help when asked for guidance or suggestions. I have been in the store when it opens on Sat morning, and cannot believe how busy it is, and have observed the staff responding to all manner and make of customers with questions. Most things now days can be found cheap on the internet, but for those interested in staying in touch with actual, experienced people and for those last minute-need-it-now items, we folks in the valley are extremely lucky that Edwards is still here! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would because they truly do not even deserve a single star!! The customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! If you can avoid coming to this place you should. Save yourself the frustration and order online or anywhere else but here! Its kind of odd how all of their negative reviews are related to their customer service. I come here every time I visit my daughter. I live several hours away and I only have access to Michael's and Joann's and this is hands down worth the trip. They have a wide variety of products but somehow every time I come they have something out of stock that I want. I've even had them ship cake filling to me. Love this place! read more

I went into the store today. I asked someone about the Fudge frosting on how long it last. She said for months and months. My thought was wow that can be good for anyone. The clerk was rude and I mean rude. When I walked in I saw a sign on the door that said no checks. I thought that she might need our service so I said you might be interested in this I showed her my folder and she took a look at the cover and said no I don't need that rude - then she said I am signed up for the next couple of years. We don't do that I replied. She didn't even know what it was...again plain rude. I don't need that not knowing what I was trying to help her with. I told her you don't have to be nasty. Then I asked her worker if she was the owner and she said yes....then she said I was pushy out loud...omg I said pushy no I wasn't it. She lied to make herself look better in front of customers and they heard her being nasty..those customers were looking at her like what is wrong with you. I told her I spent money in here and attend your classes and it won't happen again. Customers continued to look at her. I walked out and on my way out I said you are rude to customers and your help...one of the clerks looked at me and nodded. No one in business should be rude to anyone...we are having the internet to shop on now and we don't have to put up with a rude owner belittling their staff or customers....she deserves a big FLAT F! OR MAYBE BETTER YET F+. I know that this is a family owned business someone in the family needs to take it over because this woman is too rude. read more

The service is rude and just unpleasant. The manager Carol is very unfriendly and just make shopping at this store very unpleasant. I have shopped her for years out of desperation because the carry some hard to find items but I would rather pay postage and purchase online that to experience the horrible customer service received when shopping at Edwards. If you must shop there don't expect Carol to go beyond in any way to show any resemblance of good service! read more

I came here reluctantly (I have heard some not so nice things) because it was the only place I knew of that had a specific type of candy-making chocolate. I know next to nothing about candy making and wanted to make sure I was getting the right product before dropping $25 bucks on the stuff. I was offered no help. No one even acknowledged me. Everyone seemed too busy to help or were so consumed in conversation with other store regulars that they didn't notice my confused, searching glances. The place is tiny so I am not sure how you could miss a lady standing in the middle of the room with "Please help me! I have no idea what I am doing!" written all over her face. I ended up taking a risk and buying the chocolate because I didn't have time to wait around to be noticed. The candies turned out well but I wasn't thrilled with the lack of customer service. read more

I have been into Edwards shop a few times. The first time because of the rude way I was treated I walked out, saying to myself, i wil lnever go back in there again. Well, Christmas baking forced me to go in this year. I felt lucky to find the things I needed. I was happy to find they pre made and baked sugar cookies. They had the frosting and wilton decorating colors....Happy for this. However, I had to go and buy more, and whoaaa the price had gone up since two days prior. I thougth oh well, i need them. Had to go back yesterday, the price had gone up again on the same items.... I bought them, because I had too. Then got home, only to find, I had picked up the wrong thing. The tub of frosting looked the same, the label was the same, but the frosting was like water. I called, and was told, I had picked up the donut glaze instead of the frosting. Yikes, they would not let me return it. Told me I would need to come back and buy the other one. Now, I bought the cookies at the same time, you would think they would have told me I was purchasing the wrong item. Not only that, they sit right next to each other, labels are exactly alike. So if you are new in there I just want to warn you, always read their labels. They all look alike and you could pick up the wrong item and it is not refundable. Also, if you find something you are possibly going to need more of, buy it then. They price gouge. When they see an item selling good, up goes the price. The last cookies I got were 75 cents more than last week. And to top it off, one of the trees had a part of it missing. The missing part was not in the box, so it was packed that way and guess what, its not returnable because its a food item. The broken cookie was hidden under the good cookies. So beware, I suggest you asked to open the box and review what you are buying. That was cheating people to pack a broken cookie under the good ones and up the price to $5.00 per dozen. How do they live with themselves. I am looking on line at this time for another shop that will have a good supply of things and will not treat their customers so terrible. My warning is beware of their labels, their price gouging and their rudeness. read more

People here are extremely rude; when I entered they continued to chit chat amongst each other even though I was at the desk and obviously trying to get their attention.. When I finally got some attention it was bc I was returning 2 cake stands we used for my sisters graduation which they asked for a $800 deposit and over charged for about $100 a day over the weekend(which in hindsight we could have bought online for the price we rented it for; it was a simple wood design.. All that aside what really earned them their well deserved 1 star was their service (or lack they re of when we came to return the rental.) we definitely cleaned the stand really well but I guess there was a tiny bit of frosting probably less than 1cm on a side.. As well as the parts were not "properly bubble wrapped.." we re-wrapped the bubble wrap but I guess they were not happy..and they tried to charge is a $40 for a cleaning fee for what would literally take less than 1 minute of cleaning. This really got me ticked and I refused, they tried to take it out of the deposit .. I purposefully made a scene to embarrass their lack of manners and cleaned the item myself re-wrapped, all complete in less than 1 minutes.. Then the lady had the rudness to say she was only waiving the cleaning fee bc she had no change.. Forget the fact we bought many items and paid $200 for the weekend rental when we could have bought it online for the same price... Unbelievable :( read more
