We found this amazing place on Instagram! My friend and I decided to reach out to see if we could book this venue for our market. Chris and Carrie were absolutely amazing to work with and were able to guide and help us with everything to be able to book. We toured the venue and every turn we took into a new part of the venue was just as breathtaking as the last. The mansion is unique and historic. The courtyards are beyond what you can imagine!! Did I mention there is so much shade?!! It's beautiful here for weddings, parties, and even markets. We are beyond excited to host The Adventure Markets (@theadventuremarkets) here.

Wedding of my dreams!! I had always dreamed of having a romantic and elegant wedding. From the gardens and gazebos to the charming historic chapel and the majestic mansion, our evening was magical. The food was divine and the staff was dedicated to making our wedding special. The one stop shopping made the planning easy. My favorite moment was dancing with my husband under a canopy of twinkle lights in the Greenhouse. Thank you Edwards Mansion for making a dream come true

Such a beautiful place to get married. We reserved the west gazebo and it felt so intimate and private. It was so shaded, fresh, green, and whimsical. Parking was so big and nice. The west gazebo was so nice that just a few flowers brought everything to life. Pastor Leon was also so nice and made our wedding just perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful ceremony.

When I was a kid Edwards Mansion was an upscale somewhat formal restaurant. I remember this because my dad is cheap and I do not know why we came here but we took my grandparents from Missouri and my dad had a coronary when the bill came. Now it is mostly a venue for weddings and receptions and looking at the photos from the website it looks beautiful. I did notice the price for wedding is either $495 or $695 in the chapel or gazebo...can that be right? Even if it is without all the bells and whistles that is super cheap. www.edwardsmansion.com

I'll start out with the only problem that I encountered because that's what every bride to be really wants to know. This place is not very technologically efficient. That means that if you are planning a wedding/reception from a distance, you will want to have a local person helping you out. I have to give it 5 stars despite that because everything went so smoothly. I went with their cake provider but used my own florist. The cake was beautiful and also edible. What more could you want?! Their caterer was also more than acceptable. We used the beer, wine, and soda option for the bar...which is great for an afternoon affair. Also, it's nice that they have things on hand to purchase because somebody, namely me, forgot to buy a guest book. The DJ they use was OK. I asked for a mix of music that would not offend the older people at my reception. Apparently in DJ language this means, "I only want Sinatra." Then, I mentioned that I wished he play something a little newer so my friend asked him to. All you DJ's should know that, "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me," is not a desirable song lyric for a wedding reception. I'll post some pictures that I think are appropriate here, but if you really want to see them all: http://amyromanek.com/usreception1.html http://amyromanek.com/usreception2.html http://amyromanek.com/usreception3.html

My wife and I got married here a couple of weeks ago. Edward's Mansion has some beautiful outdoor venues that require almost no decorations. We only had 15 vases of flowers for decorations and everything still looked absolutely beautiful. The natural trees and scenery are stunning! Our wedding day had some weather precautions (it was possibly going to rain) but Edward's Mansion was on top of it, having a full backup plan setup for our ceremony and reception. Fortunately, the rain held off and we were able to have our wedding ceremony at the East Gazebo and reception in the Tea Garden as planned. The staff at Edward's Mansion were all professional and courteous. Robin was our wedding coordinator and very helpful during the rehearsal the day before. All the wait staff was attentive to us and our guests. The food was excellent (we had a bunch of different hors d'oeuvres in lieu of a sit down meal). Our wedding day simply couldn't have turned out better. Thanks to Edward's Mansion, a lot of the day before and day of wedding stressors were non existent. We would heartily recommend this venue to all engaged couples!

Perfect place for a gothic style wedding. That being said I knew I had to book this place regardless of what other reviewers had to say. If you want to be the only wedding party at the venue dont book a saturday. Our wedding was on a friday night in October 2016 near Halloween. And we were the only ones there. Pros. Great locations for photos. Very quiet area cant even tell the freeway is nearby. Bar drinks fairly priced but very strong. Cons. 1.We were going to have a surprise groom dance and wanted specific songs played and mixed at specific times of the songs and getting ahold of the house DJ was hard. He would not answer any of our messages until we contacted the main office to which he finally responded to us. 2. We wanted our 3 songs played for the entrance, bride song and exit. So I gave the piano sheet at the same time we made the final payment and they lost the sheets and didnt inform me until the rehersal. I had made specific comments on my song as it needed to be played slower than shown on the sheet and provided links to youtube videos on how it should be played and the pianist did not listen to my notes so as I walked down the aisle the song was rushed and I could hear mistakes. 3. We purchased candelabras and we couldnt even light them because the owners didnt want the wax burning through the tablecloths and scorching their old tables. Had it not been for the bowls we had with candles in them it would have been much darker inside the East Pavilion. I cannot comment on the food as I only ate a total of 2 bites as people kept coming to our table to congratulate us. We opted for supplying our own tableclothes as this venue charges for every thing possible. Ridiculous charges for the cake as well. We personally love the bakery that Edwards Mansion works with but in the end we didnt even know where the cake was at until we cut it. The bakery does not charge extra fees for the decorations BUT Edwards Mansion DOES so we had a plain and simple and forgetful cake. However the cake was delicious and we barely had any leftovers left not counting the top tier which they boxed up for us. In the end everyone had a lot of fun and the servers were very attentive to our guests. We still have people talking about our wedding a year and a half later

Attended here for my Sister In Laws wedding. The first and foremost thing I noted was that this place has been around a very long time. As I stepped through the grounds and was admiring the various locations in it, I overheard several older couples talking about how they were married here or came to see someone from their generation become married here. Overall this place a beautiful ambience. The only downside to it is it sort of felt like the Disneyland of Marriage. There were several marriages/receptions happening while visiting. The manor itself is old, rustic, and full of old school. It's very beautiful and will remind people of old victorian style homes. While wandering through the first floor I was able to find out that not only does this place do weddings and such but it's also has a few rooms people can spend the night in. That's where you can cue ghost stories. I'd be scared to spend the night in this place. It's straight up ghost story material. Speaking of ghost stories, apparently this place has a few of them. Thankfully I didn't hear about them until after I'd left but apparently the wife has gone into the changing room and placed her sisters wedding gown on the bed and hung hers on the back of the door and left. When she came back a few moments later she had found her sisters dress on the back of the door and her dress on the opposite side of the bed. Good times. Despite the ghost stories and hauntings, I would still recommend this place for weddings, anniversaries, etc. ...but the spend the night at your own risk.

Me and my now wife had our wedding here. The turnout of the event was amazing the staff both before and during our wedding was amazing! It made our wedding day memorable. The food was amazing as well. We had the chicken fajitas and the Chile verde and both are amazing. Shall I mention drinks? Well this is the best place to buy your drinks cheap and delicious (alcohol). Now for the cake! It was delicious and satisfying really hit the sweet tooth. The florist from the Mansion is amazing as well our decor was beyond what we had expected. Really this place holds a spot in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Incredible Experience -- Above and Beyond! Gwen Marlo…read morecatering was an absolute lifesaver for our wellness retreat. I hired Annamarie and Messe last minute after our original chef backed out just two weeks before the event. From the very first call, they were responsive, kind, and completely accommodating to our shifting needs--whether it was allergies, dietary preferences, or an ever-growing headcount. Annamarie is an absolute sweetheart, and her warmth was felt not just in her presence, but in the food she prepared. Her husband was equally lovely, and together they brought such a beautiful, heart-centered energy to the weekend. The food was fantastic--nourishing, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the retreat was raving about it! We were aiming for healthy meals that still felt indulgent and flavorful, and they delivered that in spades. I can't wait to work with them again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

Here's our detailed review based on their food quality, presentation, performance, and customer service. Food: The food was very good and tasty. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying to me but others trying the food had their likes and dislikes. This was a refreshing surprise since wedding food can sometimes fall flat. With Gwen Marlowe's cooking, you're likely to get dishes that stand out in taste. Presentation: The buffet-style setup was beautifully arranged, with each dish served by the vendor team to ensure an elegant presentation. Most dishes looked fantastic, giving our guests a sense of a refined, well-presented meal. The salad presentation, though simpler, was still tasty and fresh, adding a nice touch to the spread. Performance: On our wedding day, the team was on top of everything, ensuring every guest was served promptly and helping set up the tables to look beautiful. We appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail, which helped make our reception feel special. It was also just nice having a caterer who was willing to provide the plates and silverware. Really good deal for that reason alone! Customer Service: While Anna, our contact with the company, was communicative and respectful, we slowly began to feel hesitant to ask for adjustments or additional tastings, as we sometimes got the impression our requests were becoming a burden. It just felt like the vibes were coming off as passive aggressive and we didn't understand why when we were willing to pay for more tastings. It's hard to understand why a food company would have difficulty wanting to serve sample tastings of their dishes especially when they were being paid for. For example, when requesting if we could try out their vegan curry option in addition to their lasagna vegetarian option, we made efforts to make things easier for this vendor by suggesting we could just pick up the food in a take out box without needing a nice sit down experience to save them time (we only did this because Anne emailed us saying we couldn't book another tasting due to there being no time for them to set up another sit down tasting). In response, we got what we wanted but Anne charged us $50 a plate when typically they went for $30 a plate with a sit down experience. So just to get a chance to taste their veggie options we paid them $100 for 2 dishes. We know it takes time to get the ingredients to make these dishes but this shouldn't be an issue for a company that specializes in food. Customers will of course want to try out the different options so make that easier for them. A food company should not make their customers feel like they can't ask to try out food that will be served to hundreds of people! We also felt she didn't handle feedback as openly as we had hoped, occasionally giving the sense that we were the only people they've served who had problems with a dish. Additionally, there were a few instances when my mother, whom we had authorized to communicate with the Anne, felt overlooked. However, on the wedding day, everything we had requested was delivered beautifully, and our guests were thrilled with the food. Overall, Gwen Marlowe Food and Catering delivered a wonderful dining experience on our big day, with delicious food, thoughtful presentation, and a seamless performance. We just hope anyone booking them has a better experience with customer service as we unfortunately felt like a bother to this company. Thank you Gwen Marlowe for making our big day so special though

The chefs were hilarious, engaging, and kept the whole group laughing with plenty of surprises sprinkled throughout the evening. This is such a great option for a big group and made the celebration feel extra special without having to leave the house. Highly recommend booking two chefs if you can - it keeps service moving quickly and doubles the entertainment value.
