When you are hurting and hope for any kind of relief...I've spent over a month doing dmbb's…read more(insurance requires it) to get an rfa. Not until 2 more weeks at least. And in the meantime, no pain relief by medication. Yes, I will let them do my radiofrequency ablation because I desperately need my neck, shoulder, and right arm to have strength and decreased pain. I feel helpless. But I still have to wait for weeks. This is stupid. Just why? I will do all their shots, injections, whatever. But, help us in the process. Or at least give our injections quickly. Idk

The Doctor's are good but in a rush. The PA I saw last time was kind and accommodating. When asked,…read moreShe was happy to show where I was broken on my back instead of the model. When our appt was done she jetted and left me wondering if we were finished. I expect I may not see her again. This is the first pain clinic I've gone to (2018-spinal fusion at C5-C7) where I've not seen the same doctor twice. I was surprised at this. There is no Doctor patient bond formed and it's hard to trust a Doctor without it. Last time I went to an appointment I walked in visibly angry for a number of reasons, some of which are discussed here. How am I supposed to turn my back on someone I don't trust, let alone allow them to cut me open? And they rarely answer their phone. In the past, I have had to call 6+ times to even get their voice mail. Leaving a message gets you a call back in 1-2 days.

Sleep Center of the Coast - I have arrived for my 1st sleep study & I'm all checked in. Reclining & watching "Coming To America" :-) Sleeping later ... nite all

It was a roundabout journey to a sleep study for sure. (More on that in my review of Dr. Houston (…read more I was contacted by this sleep center after being referred by a sleep doctor. The gentleman that called was very thorough explanation the entire process from beginning to the multiple potential outcomes. He was very good with making me comfortable with the experience and gave me more than enough insight so I knew exactly what to expect. I received several text message reminders AND a follow-up phone call reminding me when, why, where, etc., nicely done! When I arrived I was greeted, no insurance info needed at check-in, and shown to my room for the night. I was then immediately attended to by Jason Turner, a certified respiratory therapist, who have me some health and sleep related forms, and made me quite comfortable. The room was very much like many motels I've stayed in on my countless days on the road on my travels with a sem-comfy bed with cheap linen on the bed and in the full bathroom and a generic paitning on the wall with a somewhat worn recliner, basic furniture and a working big tub TV. I'm not knocking it, it was comfortable but like an economy motel and not a suite. My son has had a CPAP machine for years so I'm very familiar with the technology and it's uses so the extensive explanation was fine abd the following hookup to a bunch of electrodes was expected. The gentleman, who is a respiratory therapist, was very thorough and quite good at his job so after watching a little TV I was off to bed. I was comfy and not maybe a little surprised how well I slept considering that I was hooked up to stuff & being observed LOL The process takes 4-6 hours of both observing the data sent from the electrodes as well as video observation. After he woke me up their was a minimal amount of paperwork and a briefing if what to expect next. What was indeed to follow was a call from the sleep Doc telling me about my terrible sleep apnea and I was scheduled for another session to determine what kind of CPAP would be best for me. The next visit went exactly like the first and within a few weeks a machine showed up at my door. Bottom line: The folks I interacted with at this facility were very professional and do a great job. Highly recommended

Having had previous UNWANTED thoughts and attempts of…read more self harm and being new to chronic pain, I thought I was given different orders by Dr as to what I was allowed to do at a test. When i panicked out of EXTREME FEAR and called my dr office multiples times to get help I was hung up on. Told I could not send my Dr a message for clarification because of a policy I was never told about. And then had the cops called for trying to have a voice in my healthcare and accused of harassment!! For being terrified of the unknown as I am still learning. I had just been told the week before by THEIR DR , "thankfully WE are far enough in technology you won't need a heart transplant ". I'm 41 with kids. My mind was already overwhelmed and they didn't care. I truly believed the dr was aware of my med record and gave me permission to do something else for LITERAL LIFE SAVING MEASURES! I had told her the mental part was overwhelming and I BEGGED for help. For their office staff to treat us this way. Thank god I had someone to run to support me after I was home. I was not in a safe mental state. BECAUSE OF THEM. They weaponized my fear and desperation to get medical help and called the police on me!! Your health means nothing to the office staff. Sadly the drs have to pay for their actions by reporting on their medical license every month until someone takes accountability. They literally sent me a letter WEEKS later releasing me as a patient with the drs signature. Meaning she is signing off on the behaviors. So I will report their license every month evry way I can.
