On vacation, we yelped for BBQ close by. We stopped in on a Wednesday for lunch. I planned to get it to go since my grandson was in the car with a pizza. Ed invited us to eat in. I will admit, it didn't look like a kid-friendly place. Ed assured us "it isn't as bad as it looks." Looking around, there were young moms with children there, so we came in, pizza and all! We ordered a brisket bacon sandwich and the brisket over homemade chips. Service was top notch, the food was great. Some of the best brisket I have eaten. Highly recommend the brisket, would like to go back and try the wings and hot dogs. I got a Togo menu to study for my next visit. read more

The traditional wings are the best and are fresh and hot I absolutely love then I just wish the French fries were crunchy because they are very soft other then that I can't complain can't wait too go back more and the service was very attentive and very cozy and clean inside but just make sure you have your sauces with you :) read more

Cool hidden place down in Fayetteville area. I tried the Widz which was five wings (any style, we had medium Buffalo) + 5 ribs with their dry rub and BBQ sauce on the side. Then one side which I had baked beans. Ribs were quite tender with bones pulling right out, clean as a whistle. Taste was ok. Their smoked wings were very tasty. Nice flavor of smoke and with medium Buffalo sauce adds some tasty flavor. Also enjoyed their baked beans, especially after I dumped their BBQ sauce into it. That was a game changer. Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place is the epitome of the lost American dream. Small local owned business by a real patriot. Edz is the authentic thing, looks like the heartbeat of the town where all the locals come to hang out with friends to break bread. It's a hold in the wall, so you folks that are worried about the cleanliness then don't go; that's part of it being a hole in the wall. The wait staff may be hit or miss because you are getting an authentic human being that is not being forced to be nice, they like us have their bad days to top off with dealing with high maintenance and rude clientele at times. The wings were fried perfectly, although I didn't care for the Caribbean Jerk flavor (too much cinnamon for me) but the chicken overall was delicious. Tried Edz Wingz today in Fayetteville, TN. It is supposedly in the TOP FIVE best wing joints in all of Tennessee. This place is definitely an example of you can't judge a book by its cover. If I had, I probably wouldn't have gone in. From both the outside and inside it looked like a rundown dump - Old a decrepit. But I have to say the staff was nice, the place was pack d even for a Tuesday lunch, and the Korean wings were good. According to the waitress, there is often standing room only on the weekends. I guess it's a pretty hot spot, but you sure wouldn't be able to tell from the looks of it. Don't get me wrong - I love little hole in the wall places with dynamite food, but never would've picked this place as being one from the looks of it. I do have to say, the Korean wings were good, not great, but next time I'm in Fayetteville, I may have to give another flavor a chance before passing this place by. So let's just talk about Ed'z Wings. This place is exactly where you want to eat. Don't worry about how it looks, they waste money on food not decorations. I don't venture beyond the wings and fries, there's no need to. Sauces are fantastic I prefer the black label However people that come along have tried other things. They've all been great. I haven't heard a complaint yet. I've turned co-workers onto Ed'z and they'll drive 40 minutes. This place is fantastic. Truly a hidden gem if you can find it. We went to Edz when in town for one night. It took forever to get our food and towards the end of the meal our son went to use the restroom and reported the sink wasn't working. Lo and behold that night two of our kids woke up with food poisoning had to drive home middle of the night. Totally ruined our trip. read more

I've been going to Edz since they opened and the food quality has always been the same, amazing. Edz is a hole in the wall and in a location not on the square which should tell you something. They are still around because the food and staff are amazing. If you don't eat here you have missed out. I recommend the wings with a mix of Harold's hog wash and Hot. Went here while running errands in Fayetteville. It was off the beaten path & from outside looks like a solid NO, but we've found that means zip in Fayetteville. This place was yet another Fayetteville hidden treasure. Once inside, it was warm & inviting. A friendly waitress greeted us from behind the bar & served us promptly without being intrusive. Food is great, but the barbeque sandwiches were served without sauce & were underseasoned. On the pricey side for what you get. Also, FOX NEWS was inescapable. I waited an hour and a half before I asked about our order, our waitress was very nice but the taller lady had a terrible attitude and proceeded to show me the menu where it states it's going to be a while. It's my opinion that an hour and a half is plenty of time. I've heard great things about the wings but I didn't get to eat any because they just so happened to leave my order out. The rest of our group ate and enjoyed the food. Sorry but the service is worse than lousy! It's a Saturday around 6:30 pm, walked in and sat on one of the badly worn stools. Looked around to see a lot of people at the tables but very few actually eating. Realizing after 15 minutes and NO one even said "hello can i get you a beer" there was little chance i would be eating anytime soon. There was one floor waitress and one behind the bar who was also the the cashier and who also pulled the meals from the small windowless hole. It's chicken wings people-crank it up. Instead of waisting anymore time I got up and left and nobody even knew. Try Touchdown Wings about 2 miles; great wings fast service, but only lacks the cool music. Had to give it another try and every thing I said above was corrected. Greeted, seated, drinks served and the food was delicious. Good food for Fayetteville (mostly fast foods in this one horse town). Brisket is really good & the brisket salad is really good. 3 stars because they don't spin the water from the lettuce. You can pour water from your salad plate. And the building is kind of shady looking. Nice atmosphere but not so sure about the kitchen area. I will eat here again. I believe if you could cook the beak and feathers I would eat them also. The wings are not those little miserable things you get from the competition but are more like regular chicken legs. Cooked to order every time when ordered so not sitting under a warmer waiting to be flavored. And let me tell you about the flavors, they will flavor them just about any way you want them and will flavor them from very mild to extremely hot, so if you like them hot hot hot they got that too. Don't judge this book by its cover cause I'd put these wingz up against anyone's. Had the garlic param/black labelxx on edz advice, and u cant go wrong. Also, had the smoked brisket sandwich. HORRIBLE customer service! Refused to take multiple orders for a pick up unless paid in full on one debit card, when it was for multiple people paying .That is just not good customer service when the order is about $200. It's not about the money it's the way she handled the whole situation. She was very condescending and smart mouthed. Either she didn't want to take the time to ring them up separate or didn't know how. Sounds to me like this place just lost a lot of good customers that ordered from them daily from a very reputable place of business! Who by the way will no longer be patronizing this establishment!
