Amazing breakfast spot--dare I say the best in Metro Detroit! The food is always fresh, portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is consistently friendly. This place absolutely deserves its 5-star Yelp rating. The vegetables they bring at the start of every meal are always crisp and fresh, which sets the tone right away. Al Tayeb is the original Lebanese breakfast spot in the area, and it's no surprise others have followed after seeing their success. Keep it up, Al Tayeb!

This is the Lebanese food of my childhood- like straight out of the kitchen of someone 's grandma & it's very close to work- Very friendly man running the floor- it's a smaller place but has a back area for busier times I ordered enough food for 4 and took it home to my parents - we all ate for $50, including juices This is my new favorite neighborhood spot

AlTayeb Restaurant 873 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135 This is hands down the most authentic Middle Eastern restaurant I have ever been to. You know it is real when you don't see gyro on their menu. Everything that we ordered was packed with flavor and yet comforting. 1. Foul: Stew of cooked fava beans served with olive oil, cumin, and optional veggies. 2. Spicy potatoes: It had everything in one bite: crispiness, spiciness, and packed with flavor! 3. Fresh Hummus. 4. Sesame Fried Cheese. 5. Eggs with Ground Meat. 6. Veggies. #Tonylameats #altayebrestaurant #middleeasternfood #gardencitymichigan

I usually go to the Al Tayeb in Dearborn, but decided to try the original for once. The food at this location is every bit as good and as a bonus, the employees and service are way friendlier. Hummus with Ground Meat ($12.99) - I have been to restaurants all over Dearborn and adjacent and in my opinion, Al Tayeb has the best hummus of them all. This is the perfect mix of chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon, and spices. We normally just have the complimentary hummus (I believe they usually give a small normal hummus for free for certain order sizes), but decided to spice it up this time with the ground meat option - this adds spiced ground beef and an assortment of toasted nuts on top. It makes a great hummus even better! (5/5) Mosabaha ($10.49) - This was described by the server as "hummus on top of hummus on top of hummus" and I guess he wasn't really wrong. This was basically a runnier hummus mixed with extra garlic, mashed chickpeas, and lemon juice and topped with whole chickpeas. A strong fresh, aromatic lemon flavor dominates this dish, lending a nice contrast against the regular hummus. This dish is served warm. I prefer the normal hummus, but this was good too! (5/5) Spicy Potato ($8.99) - This was the only dish we thought was done less well at this location. While they were still good, the potatoes were missing the crispy edge and didn't have nearly enough of the spicy cilantro mixture placed on top. In fact, we had to add in quite a few shakes of ground red pepper provided at the table to get it to the correct spiciness. (4/5) Vegetables + Pita (Complimentary) - Fresh mint, pickles, onion, and tomato. Free regular pita bread. What's not to like? Really, I think the only thing that could be improved is if they had fresh baked pita for purchase. Note: As with a lot of Middle-Eastern restaurants around the area, the water is not free - you can only purchase bottled water. They don't mind if you bring your own water though. I highly recommend Al Tayeb. Go and eat anything; you won't be disappointed.

The place is packed every weekend until closing so expect a bit of a wait. The fatteh with meat, sujuk eggs, fried cheese, meat with onions and tomatoes, and falafel were all home runs, but the fool was just ok.

This restaurant gives major "mom and pop" type of vibes and those are my favorites! My husband and I were in Dearborn visiting a dear friend of ours and we always let her pick out our food itinerary because she knows all the best places, especially when it comes to Middle Eastern food! She brought us here on a Sunday morning for breakfast prior to us heading back to Chicago, and omg, everything was delicious! I wish I could tell you what we ordered but we had her pick everything out since she knows what's best. The service was fantastic as we were greeted and seated right away. Our server checked in on us from time to time to make sure everything was to our liking and we always appreciate great service nowadays. From our spread, the egg dish was definitely my favorite along with the potatoes. We also had tea to wash down all the deliciousness so overall, yes, I would definitely be back whenever I visit Dearborn again because it will never be the last. Everything was great and we couldn't have asked for anything better to end our short weekend trip to Dearborn!

Stopped by here for brunch today for the first time, and we had to make sure to try a bunch of items. Samer was wonderful in giving his recommendations. We were very impressed with everything and look forward to going back to try more items! 1. The chai was made perfectly. 2. The sesame fried cheese was delicious. Would definitely order again. 3. The labneh and zaatar hit the spot. 4. The fatteh with tahini was super yummy. 5. The ful Al Tayeb was also very good. 6. The hummus was so delicious, that we ordered one to go. Everything was fresh and you can taste the homemade goodness of it. Highly recommend!

This gem of a restaurant is an absolute delight for those craving authentic Egyptian breakfast cuisine. The flavors of fool (fava beans) and falafel are expertly crafted, making it a must-visit for anyone yearning for a taste of these delightful dishes. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the place is very clean.

TLDR : Reminds me of my Teta in Lebanon making me breakfast, each bite is better than the last Wow, where do I start... The service is top notch. Our waiter quickly seated us and was so attentive he brought things for us we were whispering about. No task was too small as he was proud to see our time spent here was similar to eating at his own house. The ambiance follows suit of being clean and organized. Perfect lighting and many windows for natural sunlight. I loved being able to see the sun shine across my plates and through the restaurant. The food was out of this world. All prepared fresh and brought to us quickly. In a matter of minutes food was brought to our table and was piping hot. To clarify, piping hot from the stove top, not the heat lamp. The vegetables that accompanied the dishes were all freshly cut and chilled but I have to point out the pickles. They are to die for on that veggie platter! The hummus, immaculate; the eggs with sujok, sensational; the fuul, WOW! This was my first time but I promise you, not my last!

Dellah Coffee & Brunch House is a not-so-hidden gem in Dearborn, MI, serving Yemeni-American food…read moreto the large Arab population in Dearborn as well as to tourists like my boyfriend and I. Dellah is located on a mixed residential and commercial street with plenty of parking nearby. We chose to eat lunch here in June 2026 since it wasn't too far from our hotel and we saw that they had outdoor seating - important since we had my little dog with us. The place was very busy but since we were eating outside, we had no wait and we were waited upon promptly. There are a LOT of American choices on here (like sugary pancakes) but a third of the menu consists of Yemeni food. I got a traditional Yemeni tea ($4.50) and my boyfriend sipped on a smooth matcha latte ($6.50). We had a big breakfast that morning, so we chose to just share the lahm sighar ($20), which comes with a piece of khuba bread, and also order an additional khuba bread ($2). About 15 minutes later, our food was ready and after taking the necessary pictures, we dug in! Needless to say, the extra bread was not necessary. I don't know what we were thinking but we assumed a piece of khuba was small. Nope! Each piece is the size of my 17-inch computer. Anyway, we used bits of the khuba as silverware to pick up the deliciously tender lahm sighar, something I saw others do when I went inside to use the bathroom and nosily looked around. I must mention that the BATHROOM HAS A BIDET. I REPEAT. BATHROOM HAS A BIDET!!!! Hehe :) seeing it just made me happy lol. So anyway, I saw that the coffee section of Dellah is set up inside like a traditional coffee shop where you can grab and go some coffee, tea, and pastries if you'd like. I did grab my bf, dog, and I some water from the coffee counter, which is self-service. We didn't leave a crumb behind and loved our food here. I would happily come back again! There is a 3% card surcharge fee so I paid the bill with cash, which came out to about 45 dollars after tax and tip. A little pricey, thanks to our expensive drinks, but so yummy!

I came here with our team. There was 10 of us in our party…read more Not sure whose idea among the Dellah staff thought it was a good idea to squeeze so many guys and me at two small tables by the door. This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the Detroit area. First things first,…read morethey do not take reservations and they are always on a wait, that should tell you that they are good. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm on a weekday. It was a Friday though around 11am and, predictably, they had a wait. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It was totally worth the wait. Their ambiance is cute- the hallway is clean, they have bench seating and they put you on the list to get a text, so you could sit in the car if you really wanted to; we did not. They could use a foyer though. It was 22 degrees and snowing so every time the door opened we were instantly freezing. The menu is massive so if you're trying this for the first time and you're from out of town, honey bring as many friends as you can so that you guys can order everything!! Theeeee must have that I tried were the smoked wings. I have never had wings that were smoked and then fried baby they were crispy. They were seasoned to the bone and were delicious. I almost ate them all and had no room for anything else. We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! And take some friends. Each plate is a day's worth of calories!

I was finally able to try this place and was very pleased!…read more This place is very unique and has some really delicious selections. Started with their version of beignets. Theirs are more like a fried croissant, which isn't bad at all. Theirs flavors added with the dipping sauce was great. Their breakfast portions are no complaint. They are most definitely shareable sizes. I ordered a southwest skillet (just some things out) and I loved it. The shrimp and grits were really good too. Service was nice and everyone in the restaurant worked as a team. It was also very clean in the inside. Prices were very reasonable as well. I will gladly give them my business again.
