Was located next to my hotel, the Hampton Inn. I stopped here for a breakfast on the go and was pleasantly surprised. Very artsy and retro decor. Sandwiches are incredibly flavorful and fun and customer service was very pleasant. I will definitely be back here again!

Stopped here after my wife wanted to go on a whim. Man, what a nice spot! First, the vibe when we walked in was top notch, we were welcomed, all the folks there were very nice, the menu & ordering were explained, etc. the food and drinks were done in no time, and everything was very tasty. My personal fave was the rosemary truffle hash sticks. We'll definitely be back!

I've only been there once but I enjoyed my experience quite a bit! I really enjoyed my sandwich, I got to try the hash brown sticks (which were really good), and I tried some of my friend's sandwich as well which was also great. My only complaint is that everything is definitely overpriced almost to the point where I'm not very interested in coming back. It's all definitely something I could make at home for cheaper. $14-$19 for a sandwich the size of my hand feels like robbery. Their drinks are also overpriced in my opinion. I think it's fun to try one time, but I would still go your local small bagel sandwich shops or local diners!

My wife got the sausage sandwich and I got the bacon sandwich we also got the hashbrowns and cold brew coffee mocha and raspberry refresher. She liked everything bill was around $58ish and worth it. Recommend it to anyone that likes eggs and is very similar taste to egg slut restaurant in Las Vegas. Recommend you download the app it gives a coupon for $5 off. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is my third visit to Egg Bar and they never disappoint. Seating inside is plentiful and spacious and all the employees are friendly/helpful. First time I went I got the Biscoff Matcha - it was good, but I wasn't a fan of the cookie crumble topping that got into the drink and was all soggy. My go to drink is the salted caramel cold brew. The cold brew is smooth and the foam is extra foamy! Tip: first time guests can download the app for $5 off your first purchase!

I searched for some breakfast spot and stumbled at this one. Went for first tine, it has quick self order kiosks, first timer gets 5 dollar off which i did not take as I was lazy to download their app and become a member. I ordered cold brew pumpkin spice drink, avocado egg sandwich and hash browns. Drink was decorated with their signature name on it. Sandwich was yumm and bread was toasted well in butter. Had arugula and tomato inside, egg texturewas quite diff. Overall nice place with some sitting tables. They serve you in to go bags. Although i loved food and exp, somehow it did not suit me. Not sure if it was egg or avocado. Avocado did not seems fresh. Later i was having acid reflux and difficult to digest it for long time.

Nice and quiet location. Clean and neat. Mostly self service but still really attentive staff. I initially thought it was overpriced but the quality and quantity of the food was fantastic.

Food was great . Workers were very helpful with the order. Atmosphere was nice, your choice of indoor or outdoor setting. Family friendly.

Steak n' Eggs

Downtown Dearborn has some of the newest and trendiest restaurants in metro Detroit, including Egg Bar. I got the Steak N'Eggs sandwich. The sandwich is tasty but expensive. The Japanese Shokupon bread is soft and fluffy, and it is packed with cheese, egg, meat, and vegetables. At least the portion size of the sandwich is large, so it was enough for me to have two meals. My favorite on the menu is the Truffle Rosemary Hash Sticks. The website recommends the caramelized onion dip with the hash sticks, but I recommend subbing that with the chili crisp mayo if you like a little spice. I also like that the restaurant has packets of Tabasco sauce to take.

The service was great, everyone was super friendly. It was like a breath of fresh air, to see people so happy at work. I loved every minute of it. The ambiance was cute and cozy. I'm sorry I forgot to take a picture of the inside. The sandwich was good but not like blow my mind good.... just kind of expensive for a breakfast sandwich lol but it was big lol you only need one. I could only finish half lol. The hash brown sticks were pretty good as well. I will come back if invited out but I wouldn't pay for it on my own for that price lol I spent $20 for a breakfast sandwich and hash brown lol it's definitely worth at least one try.

Very enthusiastic manager. Everything looked very good. I ordered the steak and egg sandwich which was EXTREMELY good and flavorful.

This is, by far, the best breakfast you'll ever have in your life. Whichever delicious sandwich you go with, you HAVE to get the O.G. Hashbrown Stix and caramelized onion dip to go with it! A little pricey, but soooo worth it! You won't find anything close to this anywhere else!!

Open kitchen, featuring the kitchen brigade

We finally got the chance to try Eggbar, today and man, I'm so mad it took this long... It was soooo good! We were greeted immediately and lead over to the order screens where we were given recommendations, an explanation of the ingredients, and were shown how the screen works, and then we were left alone to make our selections. We placed our order, grabbed a freshly cleaned table, and looked around the place while we waited. The atmosphere is modern with loud music and vibrant decor that my husband referred to as "Yo, MTV breakfast!" The dining area is clean, like constantly, like one staffer is dedicated for cleaning between guests and I spotted not a single crumb or smudge anywhere. They have an open kitchen which allows patrons to observe their efficient brigade style kitchen service, so if you're a fan of cooking shows, you'll probably enjoy that feature. It was very busy. There was a constant stream of people coming in and out to dine-in or pick up their orders. Even so, we did not wait long at all, at least not long enough to wonder how long we waited. Everything moved quickly, but we never had the sense of feeling rushed. The food was fantastic. The Rosemary hash brown sticks were the all-stars and the onion dip that came with them made them shine even brighter. The sandwiches are made with soft, toasted, Japanese style milk bread and light, steamed souffle style egg that is just lovely. We did prefer the sandwich with meat over the classic as the turkey bacon offered a better contrast to the softer texture of the egg and bread. The sandwiches are a decent size and on our next visit, we will likely split a sandwich and get our own orders of hash brown sticks. For drinks, I got the black sugar cinnamon cold brew which was delicious and just the right level of sweet and my husband got a regular coffee and was directed to the self service coffee station up front which was well stocked and sparkling clean. My only critique is more of a tip for patrons: If you sit near the doors (front or back) in the winter, just know there is no vestibule and every time a door opens you'll get blasted with cold air. Stick to the middle and you should be just fine.

This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the Detroit area. First things first,…read morethey do not take reservations and they are always on a wait, that should tell you that they are good. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm on a weekday. It was a Friday though around 11am and, predictably, they had a wait. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It was totally worth the wait. Their ambiance is cute- the hallway is clean, they have bench seating and they put you on the list to get a text, so you could sit in the car if you really wanted to; we did not. They could use a foyer though. It was 22 degrees and snowing so every time the door opened we were instantly freezing. The menu is massive so if you're trying this for the first time and you're from out of town, honey bring as many friends as you can so that you guys can order everything!! Theeeee must have that I tried were the smoked wings. I have never had wings that were smoked and then fried baby they were crispy. They were seasoned to the bone and were delicious. I almost ate them all and had no room for anything else. We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! And take some friends. Each plate is a day's worth of calories!

The hash was delicious and the presentation was incredible but unfortunately, it was over spiced for my liking. The place was bustling and I managed to snag one of the last open tables. Fatteh with meat- For the uninitiated, this is akin to a parfait of pure deliciousness. It's a dish constructed in layers, with fried khubz (fried pita chips), meat, toasted nuts, pomagranate ariels, yoghurt, whole tender chickpeas, and hummus. This time, the pita chips were sogy and not crunchy even though we dug in immediately. Otherwise, this dish was flawless. The large size is huge and enough for four people to share. 6 Falafel- They come drizzled with tahini and a touch of spice. They are tender and moist inside, and the outside is fried so that somehow it's maximally crispy without lacerating the inside of your mouth. It's flavorful enough to eat by itself, or dipped in the sauce it comes with or any of the other dips you order. Hummus- This is smooth and topped with whole, tender chickpeas nested in the middle, and a sprinkle of dried herbs. There's not a lot of olive oil that comes with the dish, but there's olive oil provided at the table to help with adjusting the consistency if you desire. This was the perfect consistency and delicious overall. If this was the only hummus available to me for the rest of my life, I would be happy. It's been a couple of months since then, but we finally decided to visit recently for breakfast. Unlike the Lebanese breakfasts places around Dearborn, this restaurant was pretty empty with only two other tables with patrons. Falafel, 1/2 Doz ($5.99) - The quality is evident in these falafels and you can tell they are made to order. They have a very delicate crisp on the exterior throughout and the interior is more mashed and fine as compared to a typical falafel. It seems like it's purely chickpea, without the addition of herbs. It comes drizzled with tahini and comes with a nice lemony yogurt sauce on the side. The mix of chickpeas and spices is phenomenal - these are some of the best falafels I've had. Spicy Potatoes ($6.99) - A good size portion of pan fried potatoes mixed with cilantro and a small amount of pepper flakes. I wouldn't really call these spicy - there's barely any pepper in it at all. The potatoes are fluffy and come with a yogurt dipping sauce on the side. Fatteh w/ Meat, Large ($16.99) - I'm no expert on the difference between Lebanese and Syrian food, but from what I can tell, this Syrian-style fatteh has pomegranate arils mixed in and is quite a bit less liquidy. This allows the pita chips on the bottom to still retain a nice crunch, unlike how soggy the chips are in the Lebanese fatteh I've had. The dish had a very nice mix of yogurt, giving and tangy taste, and hummus and chickpeas. Then it's topped with a mixture of lamb and beef (it has a bit of a gaminess to it) and toasted cashews. I think this is the best fatteh I've had so far. We actually also ordered a medium hummus as well but they forgot to bring it out. To be honest, though, when we saw the size of the fatteh, we were glad they forgot the hummus! It's huge - between the two of us, we only finished maybe 1/4 of it. On the side, they give you a plate of fresh mint, pickles, onion, and tomato to use as garnish. We also got 4 whole pitas to eat everything with. I would definitely come eat at Shamiat again - in fact, I'd probably rather go here than to AlTayeb, because of the fact that Shamiat is just a whole lot less crowded and is equally delicious. I highly recommend trying out Shamiat if you're in the area.
