I had seen this Egg Harbor Cafe a few times when I would drive through Brookhaven. I had been to the one in John's Creek a handful of times and was excited to see that one had popped up not too far from my home. Me and my wife came for brunch on a Sunday. We parked in the garage behind the restaurant. I wasn't sure if we needed to pay or not, so I parked, went inside and asked. The manager said that we did not need to pay, which was nice! We got seated pretty quickly and someone came to check on us. I got the San Antonio skillet and my wife got the tuna-cado melt with a side of cheese grits. All of our food was DELICIOUS. It came out pretty quick and was super hot. Our server was really nice too and continued to check on us throughout our meal. We had quite a few questions about the menu too, and she answered them all for us with a smile. It's a very casual vibe inside here. Many people were eating. There were big groups, small groups, couples, friends, etc. I would 100% come back here again in the future.

The service here is exceptional. There was a mix-up with the reservation locations, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and managed to seat us very quickly. Although the service was a bit slow, considering it was a busy Sunday morning, they were still very attentive. We decided to sit outside, which was a great choice as it was neither too crowded nor too cold. The food was delicious, and I would definitely return, especially since the staff takes such good care of their customers.

Love this spot for a nice outdoor relaxing morning meal!! First time to this location and I'll be back! I was lucky to get a spot right in the front but there is a garage! The staff all pitch in and have smiles on their faces! I had the healthy scrambler and a strawberry mimosa! I subbed mushrooms for tomatoes and added green and red peppers. This is a must!

I absolutely love Egg Harbor Cafe. I've been to a couple locations now and they're all excellent. There's so much to pick from and there's a bunch of healthy options. Everything I've ordered has been delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly. Overall it's a great brunch spot.

I drove by the Brookhaven location and immediately knew I would live this place. Nick was such a great server. Very knowledgeable and provided amazing guidance on the menu. The Cinnamon Bun latte is to die for!!! The vanilla latte was absolutely delicious!! The French toast is AMAZING!! The Ultimate Skillet is AMAZING!! Everything about this place was superb. Such a cute spot!!

We came today for the soft opening and had a fantastic brunch. The wait staff was very friendly and super helpful. I had the skillet/french toast combo, with a smaller skillet size and did pancakes instead of french toast. The skillet was perfect size, even still too big for me to finish. It was in a cute little dish. It was fresh and warm. I love that there are non pork bacon options on the menu and I got the turkey bacon in here too. Then for the pancakes, I added chocolate chips. These were good but normal pancakes. The skillet and service was what took my brunch over the top. Will come back to try more items. Also love that the coffee/drinks menu was very extensive as well, having fun items like frosted cocoa too! Overall, love the menu, all the variety of options. For this location there's free parking behind it (and mostly in the garage). On a week day morning we found parking without issue, but not sure how crowded it will get on a weekend. The store was pretty and well decorated, high ceilings and lots of light, which made everything an enjoyable experience too. This area of town needed another brunch place so we're glad to see Egg Harbor here!

My girlfriend came for pizza. I believe she had a Margarita pizza maybe "beam me up Scotty" I'm not sure. I came for what I remembered to be seven lamps's old burger. Or at least something similar. My burger came with a Caesar salad which I love. I also enjoyed an old-fashioned. Our server was lovely and informative. However, my old-fashioned was yummy, but on the sweeter side. Next time, and I think there will be a next time, I will ask if they can make it less sweet. Also, the cherry was completely wrong. At least it wasn't good. I take my cherries very seriously in my old-fashioned. My burger was good and the Caesar salad was delicious. However, it just didn't hit the way that I had hoped. The restaurant was also out of Tabasco. They gave me a buffalo sauce which in my opinion was gross. I hope this restaurant finds its bold audacious way of telling the neighborhood who they are and what they offer. I feel like they're trying to figure out what the neighborhood wants. On a cold afternoon, I finally decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the 50/50 burger and a Caesar salad. The burger is essentially a smash-style setup with onions, bacon, two patties, and cheese. I was genuinely impressed. I didn't put it down once I started. After that, we shared an 8-inch Margherita pizza, which was the perfect size to split without feeling overstuffed. I washed it all down with their house-made lemonade, which was so good a refill felt mandatory. The service was friendly and quick. The dimly lit dining room sets a cozy tone, yet you can still catch the game on one of the many TVs. Everything felt organized and well run. I'll definitely be back. .

I ordered the Gluten Free Philly Spring Rolls. I think these could have been fried a little longer but it was enjoyable. The onion rings on the side were nice. I wasn't a fan of that but I appreciated the experience. Not pictured is the 7layer gluten free cheesecake I took to go. That was pretty good until I poured the "red sauce" over my cake. That was not good. And I read another review that warned against adding it but I was so distracted by being in Gluten Free Paradise that I forgot about it. I'd been eyeing Burton's Bar & Grill for a while, though I wasn't sure how different it would be from their neighbor across the street, Twin Peaks. I decided to place a to‑go order: a cheeseburger and mashed potatoes, since I wasn't in the mood for fries. The restaurant itself looked upscale, and I actually want to come back sometime to try their beer selection. When I got home and opened the bag, the burger looked impressive. A large brioche bun, plenty of fixings, and a thick beef patty cooked to medium, just the way I like it. Then came the taste. There was almost no beef flavor at all. The bun overpowered everything, even the toppings. I even cut off a piece of the patty to try it on its own, and again, no real flavor and barely any seasoning, if any. It was a big letdown. The mashed potatoes were also bland, and for a $20 meal, the portion felt small. The hostess was very friendly and mentioned that everyone there loves their burgers. Maybe I'm the odd one out, because my experience didn't match that at all. I honestly could've gone to Twin Peaks, paid less, gotten more food, and had a better overall meal.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

She checked on us numerous times, didn't rush us and offered suggestions. She kept our table clear of mayhem from empty plates and glasses. Now the food was delicious. It was so good. I'll keep it simple the food was good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, it just didn't match up. This is one of those places that works if you're trying to impress clients or enjoy the atmosphere. Strip away the location, and the food-to-price ratio probably lands much lower. Just my take.
