Hey guys this place is all that! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was a hit. We sat on the patio and were introduced to Kayla. And she is the best! Very attentive to diners needs as well as menu items. I had the ribeye with the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. The misses got the Cajun pasta but it was salty so Kayla to the rescue! She took it away and the wife got the fried fish sandwich which was flavorful and extremely fresh. We started with the bread service which was very tasty , then we had the cheesesteak egg rolls and they are a must have as well. Great vibes, great food and awesome service thanks again Kayla!

This place was recommended in a Gluten Free group I am in. I was blown away by so many gluten free options. I went during lunch so service was pretty quick. I ordered the Gluten Free Philly Spring Rolls. I think these could have been fried a little longer but it was enjoyable. The onion rings on the side were nice. I could've used some more of those ;) The lobster roll, chef kiss!! However, I was looking for a gluten free soft roll instead of a gluten free bun. I wasn't a fan of that but I appreciated the experience. Not pictured is the 7layer gluten free cheesecake I took to go. That was pretty good until I poured the "red sauce" over my cake. That was not good. And I read another review that warned against adding it but I was so distracted by being in Gluten Free Paradise that I forgot about it. So please, pass on the red sauce and have your cake and eat it to :) Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will be back to work my way on another gluten free lunch.

We were visiting Buckhead and saw great reviews and ratings for Burtons and thought we'd order some takeout. When I called, I was using the menu from pictures in Yelp and i ordered the General Tsos chicken salad. As I was ordering another plate (Caesar salad), they asked if I wanted proteins and we said no. When I ordered the general tso they said the same thing and I thought this meant do you want "more" protein. So I said know. We got to the restaurant to pickup. There were two nice ladies at the front. There was no one waiting to be seated so the one lady asked if she could help and I told her my name and that I had a to-go order. She said she would go check. While we were waiting, a large group of people came in, multiple parties of people. I watched the lady bring back my order and put it on the counter and the other lady looked at it but kept seating the next person then the next person. She sat about 3 groups of people and then once the line was empty she turned and grabbed the bag and said my name and I paid and left. Now, I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't get upset or frustrated, but it just felt weird that she didn't ask all those people, who came in after me, to wait one moment while she billed me for the food and let me leave. It just seemed odd. As for the food, there was no chicken in my General TSos bowl. But I wasn't charged for it either. So it wasn't like I paid for chicken and didn't get what I ordered. I just felt it was a misunderstanding during the ordering process. My daughter had the Caesar salad and she said it was just ok. And I note this here becuase she eats a lot of salads and usually is okay with them all but she did call out that this one was not that tasty or fresh. My General Tsos Chicken Bowl with no chicken was actually very good and all of the things within the bowl were well seasoned and tasted great. I just missed having that grilled chicken there too.

Cheesesteak spring rolls w/ onion rings, calamari, firecracker shrimp

Gluten free mecca with an entire dedicated menu full of options separate from the regular one. It will take me 3-4 trips to get through everything I want to try, so this visit was appetizers only. I happily sat at the corner of a very clean bar, staffed by a happy bartender, and ordered 3 appetizers...because why not when in GF Rome? The calamari was solid (more corn meal texture than rice flour), but the firecracker shrimp and cheesesteak spring rolls (served with onion rings) were amazing! I had planned to bring lots home to the kids, however I couldn't stop eating. I did bring them home mac & cheese, which is the only thing I wouldn't order again. It' was perfectly fine, but more creamy than actually cheesy, and not worth a $10 price tag. Next on my list are the sandwiches and burgers - I haven't had a fried fish sandwich in forever! A little pricey, but well worth it for scratch fresh foods and gf in Buckhead. I will absolutely be back! Menu with a plethora of options is here: https://burtonsgrill.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Atlanta-Gluten-Free-Menu-SS-2026.pdf

Had an awesome meal at Burton's! they have a HUGE gf menu wow. restaurant was packed on a Saturday night but service was still fast Had the California chicken sandwich with some delicious crispy sweet potato fries. All desserts on the menu are gf. The chocolate cake is covered in warm fudge and sea salt and tastes AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back!

Glad I stopped here, I had a great meal. Sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and took good care of me. I ordered the bavette steak, I ordered it rare and it was really delicious. The butter and the fries... really good. Very cool atmosphere and the food will not let you down. Enjoy!!!

Gluten Free Buffalo Chicken Dip

Looking for a nice atmosphere with great service? This is the spot to come. Can't wait for the weather to change to be able to enjoy the beautiful patio. My waitress was very nice and informative. She came ready with recommendations and they did not disappoint. Starting off with the chicken buffalo dip, the house salad and the Caesar salad. Being that they give generous portions from just the appetizers my friend and I were full. The buffalo dip comes hot in a skillet! For our entrees, we enjoyed the chicken Milanese and the steak frites with truffle fries.

Kids Gluten Free Fried Haddock

Exceptional and tasty made from scratch selection of healthy foods to choose from their menu. The service is great with little to no wait time. The atmosphere is modern industrial tavern vibe.

Chicken Picatta
Noelle L.

No reservation needed, we were able to walk in and be seated on a Saturday for dinner even in the midst of the busy atmosphere. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was really good. Also the Chicken Picatta, Firecracker shrimp, and sweet potato fries. They do have honey available for the sweet potato fries which was great. The waitress was really great and we will return.

Crab crusted Haddock

Food 5/5 Service 4/5 (cocktail took a minute) decor 4/5 ambience 4/5 We drive by this restaurant quite often when I'm in the area and the outside of it from the street is a bit unassuming so we never went in. I'm so glad we gave them a try. Came in on a late Sunday afternoon right before brunch ended. Love the fact that I can get other options besides brunch options. My server was Kerleah and she was great!! She deducted my cocktail from the check since it took a long time to come out. Appreciate that! Food was DELICIOUS!! We ordered the Haddock topped with lobster meat and the Chicken Pasta. Yummy! I'll be back.

Old fashioned
Brittaney D.

Eh. I'd been wanting to come here for a while. The cocktails were amazing I will say. And the food looked amazing. I only wanted a few drinks but if I decide to return I'll most definitely be having dinner. It did seem like the bartenders can't be bothered. You'll get good service if you're a regular. That's the only people they smiled and held conversation with. I sat with empty glasses and trash in front of me the entire night they never cleaned. Every time I needed something I felt like I was interrupting their personal conversations. The overall vibe of the restaurant was nice. Beautifully decorated. I'm not opposed to giving it another try.

Brunch Burger
Kaprecha R.

Not too many burgers will have me feigning for days after eating, but when I tell you this was the best burger EVER, I stand on business!! I knew I should have come back to this place after the Yelp event, because everything we sampled on the menu had me wanting to slap my momma (sorry, momma), but it was just that good. And as Ashley, our server, said, "Why did I wait so long?" She was right!! But, Ashley girl, I will be back real soon, and I will be sure to ask for you since you were so wonderful! The restaurant ambiance is so nice and perfect for Brunch, lunch, or a nice dinner! When I tell you to order the breakfast burger, just be ready. It was so big we had to cut it in half, and my big back self could not even finish the whole thing after trying. Put this place on your list for sure, everything was a 10/10, no crumbs!!

Crab Cake Benedict
Venessa M.

Definitely a 5 star spot for me. Visited this spot after trying another nearby restaurant whose wait time was too long and boy am I glad that I did. The service was an A+. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. I ordered the bag of donuts, a mimosa, decaf coffee and TJ crab cake Benedict. The donuts weren't my fave because they were not what I expected even though they were delicious with the sprinkle of cinnamon and side of cream cheese icing. I opted to leave off the powdered sugar. But my favorite thing of the morning was the crab cake benedict. It was absolutely amazing. The crab cake was full of crab and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I'll be visiting this restaurant when I'm back in Charlotte and recommend anyone looking for a great meal, wonderful service and a relaxing ambiance to do the same.

I'm usually wary of ordering oysters during the hotter months, but the recent photos online looked promising, so I decided to order a dozen: half raw and half chargrilled. They were good! However, a couple of the raw oysters were barely a bite, so for the price, I'd definitely choose more grilled oysters--they offered better value in both taste and size. For our entrees, I ordered the LaGarde Smash Burger with Cajun fries, and my boyfriend had the Shrimp PoBoy with Cajun tots. The burger and PoBoy were just okay, but the sides were disappointing. The tots were essentially balls of grease. I know fried food is naturally greasy, but these tasted like straight oil with very little potato left inside, so they may have been overcooked. Of the two, the fries were on the better side. The service, however, was excellent. Everything came out quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, I'd consider coming back for the chargrilled oysters!

WAS THIS A HIT OR MISS ???…read more It was a HIT I have been dying to try this place out for years and I figured I planned a lunch with a friend so we could spend the afternoon chitchatting and this was the perfect spot. So we were warmly greeted and then taken to a quiet table in the corner that had the whitest tablecloths. It looked rather chic Then we had the best server. She checked on us numerous times, didn't rush us and offered suggestions. She kept our table clear of mayhem from empty plates and glasses. Now the food was delicious. It was so good. The chicken was moist and the outside was crispy. The mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. Plus, we had a slice of 7up cake for dessert. I high recommend this place. They have valet parking that is only $2. Great place to visit. Until next time.

Right in the heart of Buckhead with a beautiful view great energy, well-dressed crowd, and a strong place for a work lunch or client meeting. Service was solid, no complaints there. I'll keep it simple the food was good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, it just didn't match up. This is one of those places that works if you're trying to impress clients or enjoy the atmosphere. Strip away the location, and the food-to-price ratio probably lands much lower. Just my take. Overall: 4/5 great setting, just comes at a premium.

Next time, and I think there will be a next time, I will ask if they can make it less sweet. Also, the cherry was completely wrong. At least it wasn't good. I take my cherries very seriously in my old-fashioned. My burger was good and the Caesar salad was delicious. However, it just didn't hit the way that I had hoped. The atmosphere felt like a casual new age, better, slightly more upscale and elegant version of Applebees, if that makes sense. Homey vibe but elegantly casual? Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go. Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

Second visit they were doing Trivia night (Tuesday). I tried the $3 draft beer which was not a light beer. It was an IPA that was full of flavor and quite refreshing. The beer was only $3 because it was not selling and they wanted to get it out. Friday and Saturdays are $1 wings (minimum 8). I got the buffalo lemon pepper wings. You cannot see the lemon pepper seasoning but the wings taste extremely good and are the right level of crispy. I got the ribeye covered in blue cheese butter with fries and brussel sprouts. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and is a good steak. The fries are decent. The brussel sprouts are good. I got the Black and Blue burger. They forgot the bacon but brought it out to me quickly. The sweet potato waffle fries are some the best I have ever had. They sprinkle some type of powdered sugar on them. I will come back for the fries alone.
