Great parking and service, very clean and big menu. Nice folks. Easy on the wallet. Open daily.

Masala cheese sandwich (kids level spicy) 5/5 Great bombay style grilled sandwich

Finally tried this place out. Portions are actually huge. Personally i feel the bread/roti portion isnt enough to cover the gravy so get extra. Surati Ghotala: 5/5 Excellent. Must have IMO. I havent had this in India so cant speak to the authenticity of taste but whatever this was, was excellent. Would come back for this. Hum Tum - 4/5 Three gravies with multiple types of eggs. Im not a big fan of green garlic heavy gravies so didnt dig that one but the rest was great. Cheese Masala Sandwich - 5/5 Got this instead of a grilled cheese for the kid. Asked to make it leas spicy and they actually had a "kid level" spice category and it was perfect. Huge portion for kids though. All in all would come back here to try others and definitely for the ghotala.

Vada Pav (2 Piece)

Great place for Mumbai street food. Food was tasty and authentic. Vada pav bread was soft and tasty. The vada was perfectly spiced. The samosa wrapper had the perfect crispy texture. Dhai Puri with its contrasting textures and flavors was a winner. The crisp shells filled with garbanzo beans, yogurt, chutney and crispy sev. The staff answered all our questions and made recommendations. The restaurant is bright, airy and cheerful.

Cute modern place with unique Indian food. Great service and food. Ordered the ultimate veggie sandwich and samosas chaat. We enjoyed the Bold onion flavors!

My wife and I are always looking for authentic Indian restaurants and we found a jackpot! The interior is beautiful and it's in a solid location. The service was excellent and the owners themselves are greeting customers and welcoming them. Here is what we ordered. Desi Chai: can't go wrong here - it's tasty and the spices are fresh. Dahi Puri: perfectly crispy/round puris and the filling with yogurt was superb. Chaat Samosa: very well balanced and all of the flavors came together really well. Paneer Toofani: this was the highlight - the paneer texture was perfect but the sauce was even better. Truly a fantastic dish all around! Egg Kheemo: this was my wife's favorite as it was really creamy but an elevated egg dish. Overall, we were pleased with the food/service as we would absolutely recommend this to anyone and are for sure coming back.

With a business name like EggHolic, one would expect a breakfast spot instead of Indian street food as the cuisine of choice. This growing chain featuring a selection of egg-based dishes influenced from the Indian state of Gujarat has opened its first SD area location in the Miramar neighborhood. There are already plenty of Indian restaurants in this area so it will be interesting to see how EggHolic stands out from the bunch. Parking in this strip mall was congested because of all the neighboring Indian businesses. The suite was large with the tables well-spaced apart. You order at the service counter and take a number to place at your table. A server will then bring the food/drink to you from the kitchen. The menu screens were divided into three parts representing egg, vegetarian, and chicken-based items. There was a banner behind the counter with pictures of some of the popular choices. Not being familiar with Indian street food, I asked the cashier for suggestions. She recommended the Surati Gotalo from the Eggetarian section which was shredded hard boiled eggs mixed with special house spices and topped with two sunny side up eggs. I requested no spiciness as I wasn't sure how much heat would be added at a mild level. The sauce had plenty of flavor and still left a little buzz on my tongue buds. A basket containing two pieces of roti (round flatbread) was included. I could have used double the bread to sop up the sauce on the plate. I paired this entree with a Mango Lassi for a beverage. It was one of the best versions I have tasted because of the concentrated fruit flavor. The problem was that the serving size was small for the price as noted by another reviewer. The place was busy but not overwhelming with customers during my visit. The operations seemed orderly, and my items were delivered in a reasonable time frame. Four stars was what I gave for my meal at EggHolic.

Food -bomb af!!! -food tastes fresh, good ingredients, and very flavorful -we got the butter chicken, no spice for my baby, but unfortunately it still had a bit of kick to it so maybe don't feed it to your baby but I loooooved it. Other butter chickens I had tasted like butter and nothing else. Their curry was packed with flavor. Very well seasoned. -Rothi was sooooo good too. So fresh, my baby looooved it. -food is well priced and reasonable, delicious, and fresh -husband's chicken tandoori was as you kids would call it, fire! Literally. He loves all things spicy and this hit so hard. My birthday man is very pleased. Service -staff were telling us since my husband's order came with rice that I should opt for the rothi instead--best advice ever! -they are very friendly and gave recommendations on what to try -you order then find a table -food came out in about 10 mins Ambiance -very spacious, cute and comfy chairs, and very clean -family friendly but great place to with with friends -parking is ample Definitely would come back. New fave Indian place for us.

My wife and I stumbled upon Eggholic while looking for a new lunch spot. Oh. My. Goodness. It takes a lot for me to recommend new spots nowadays to other people and within a few bites of everything we ordered, I was texting friends about this place. That's how impressed I was. Everything we ordered was rich, flavorful and on a cold, overcast day in San Diego, it was the perfect comfort food.

Love this menu, but very happy the staff helped me decide. Chose spicy levels of 4 and 6, 4 was perfect for me and next time my hubby will try a tad higher. Naan and roti are fab. Pani peri is exactly as I hoped. Next time... will try the sandwiches!

The food is just delicious... didn't expect the menu to be full of so many options... especially for people who are not a fan of egg like me because my husband and kids are egg fans, we visited this place after so much discussion, but trust me, that was a good decision... Their sandwiches are sooo flavorful... and kids wraps too.. their staff were friendly and gave us good suggestions when we were confused. The inside was sooo spacious and liked the furniture that they have... definitely worth a try if u haven't...

I can no longer recommend this restaurant. They have doubled the price of some of my favorite entrees since they had their grand opening. Most notable is the Anda Masala sandwich from $7 to $12.99/13.99. The sandwich was amazing for $7, but after that price increase, I don't think it's worth it. I feel like I'm not the only one who feels this way. They have definitely lost a customer because of their greed.

Food We ordered Mughalai Pulav 8.5/10 Paneer Masala Sandwich. The filling was a lil too less but taste was on point so I'll say it was a solid 7/10 Surti Gotalo 9.5/10 Boiled Kheemo 8/10 Dahi puri 6/10. It just had a lot of dahi and tasted quite bland. Still gave it a 6 coz the qty was really good for the price. I'm sure this is our new weekend spot going forward. Would definitely recommend!

Cute and clean inside. Plenty of seating
Sonia S.

I was really excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. It's very cute and clean inside. Counter service. The menu is vast with a variety of snack foods that incorporate egg as well as chicken. Definitely something different than all the other restaurants. A must try.!

Was craving Indian food and decided to give this place a try. I ordered their dinner plate, which…read morewas under $12 and came with rice, two curries, and naan--definitely seems like a great deal for the price. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the flavor. While the portion and value were solid, the curries were very bland and lacked the bold spices and depth of flavor I usually expect from Indian food. The naan ended up being my favorite part of the meal--it was the standout on the plate. Overall, great value if you're looking for an affordable meal, but I was hoping for much more flavor.

Our order also included a large to go container of basmati rice. There was plenty to feed our family of 5. We ordered mild for everything. The butter chicken was our favorite savory dish. We loved the garlic naan, for obvious reasons (garlic lovers here). The gobi manchurian was a new dish for us. It sounded good so we tried it and happy that we did. It was fresh and flavorful. We hadn't ordered Indian desserts before so we tried a little of everything. Hands down the gulab jamun was the winner! So light, fluffy and soaked in a delicious syrup. I kinda wish there were more but am glad there wasn't because I don't know if I could control myself (ha)! We ordered online and had it delivered. The wait was a little long but that is to be expected at prime dinner time. I can't speak to the service other than how they prepared and packaged the food, both of which were good. The food arrived still hot and ready to go. Overall, I think it was well priced, worth the wait and delicious. We will likely order from here again!

Baba Kabob is no-frills, but friendly, down-to-earth, and pretty tasty. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and my godson ordered the Baba kabob, which is essentially the same but with gyro meat included. Both sandwiches also came with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki. My favorite thing about these sandwiches was how non-greasy they were. Sometimes halal street food can get greasy or overly oily, but these sandwiches weren't like that. Also, the meat tasted pretty high quality. The large bottle of sriracha at the table was a nice plus, too. Overall, pretty tasty, fresh halal street food. Prices are slightly steep, but the quality, atmosphere, and customer service offset that enough.

For me, the rices were standout here - both the plain and the extra side of cranberry/carrot kabuli rice that I ordered because the menu pic looked so scrumptious (and it was!) As for the meats - never tried Chaplin before, and enjoyed the bold spices. The lamb kebab was puzzling, as it didn't smell or taste like any lamb we'd tried before. The spicy chicken shawarma was so juicy, and definitely packed a punch, which was tempered by the soft and pillowy pita bread. Friendly service, and warm, family-oriented environment.
