    Mango Lassi

We first came to Paradise Biryani Pointe in November 2018 and surprisingly, we returned again in November 2025 on Thanksgiving Day. However, looks like this Indian Restaurant has lost its old charm. We came to this place to eat dinner during our last San Diego trip. The inside of this place was elegantly decorated and clearly represented traditional Indian culture. The air was filled with the bold aroma of Indian spices, which increased our appetite. At the same time, the place was super crowded and they were severely understaffed. After waiting for more than half an hour we were finally able to find seats. We then waited 15/20 minutes more for a waiter! We ordered Murgh Tangdi, Gobi Manchurian, Street Noodles, Triple Fried Rice, and Mango Lassi. And the wait for our food began again! They first served Murgh Tangdi and it was the best part of the meal. Then they literally took 25/30 minutes more to serve Mango Lassi, Gobi Manchurian and Triple Fried Rice. The Gobi Manchurian was tasty, the Mango Lassi was good as well, but the Triple Fried Rice barely had any rice in it and it was the worst fried Rice we've ever tried. The Street Noodles were bland and not tasty at all. The overall price was reasonable, but the extremely slow service and food quality really let them down. We were very disappointed and will not be coming back!

I love indian food especially dishes made from different regions in India. We tried the Gobi Manchurian, Chettinadu Chicken, and Malabar Fish Curry in Hyderabadi Style. The Gobi Manchurian is a tasty fusion of cauliflower florets cooked in traditional Chinese and Indian spices. The Chettinadu Chicken was not what I was used to from different Indian establishments. It was served with bone-in chicken (mostly bones) and the sauce didn't have the depth of a good Chettinadu. The Malabar Fish Curry was our least favorite. The sauce was off-tasting and served with tiny bone-in fish that you are afraid to bite into. Our service was lacking and was not very accommodating when we brought up the bones in our chicken and fish. They should specify that these dishes are made with bone-in in the menu.

Curry pizza ... what a concept! We've been curious about curry pizza and decided to try it today at Paradise Biryani Point. It was great -- a fusion of Italian pizza and Indian dishes as toppings. There are eight curry pizza choices on the menu here, offered in three sizes. We ordered a 10" Curry Chicken Pizza (5/5 $16.99), which looked fabulous when it cane to the table. The pizza crust was excellent -- like being in Napoli -- and the curry chicken topping (with red onions and tomatoes) was very flavorful and at a nice spiciness. I also enjoyed a Mango Lassi (4/5 $3.99) with the pizza. The restaurant itself is narrow and deep, with a rather plain interior. There are booths on both sides and tables in the middle. We opted for a booth. Service was very good And curry pizzas have new converts!

    CHILLI PANEER BUTTER CHICKEN PIZZA

[3.25] I had a group of 4 with me & we ordered 2 medium pizzas of chili paneer & butter chicken to share! We waited awhile though, maybe like 15-20 minutes bc they had to bake our pizzas. On impression, the chili paneer pizza was a little underwhelming, it didnt feel cheesy enough, lack some flavor, and the bread itself was kind of dry. I try to eat crust usually but this one had no flavor really, so I was disappointed (3/5). The butter chicken was better, more flavor there & pulled itself together more nicely, def prefer this one over the other, crust was the same though, dry (3.5/5). Design is simple & diner-like. We also noticed they were playing youtube pop songs on their tvs which was fun heh. Overall, okay quality but I've had better indian pizzas, wish it was more flavorful & aromatic, with more going on. Hope to see improvements in the future!

Im surprised I haven't really seen curry pizza until now. We got the paneer 65 appetizer which I loved. Chicken biryani and paneer butter masala pizza. I was concerned about the spice level but if you can handle jalapenos without the seeds you'll be fine. It was delicious enough for me to want to power through the heat. I will come back to try the chicken 65 wings and butter chicken pizza next time! Service was good and there was no wait to sit down at 8pm dinner time. Parking was plenty

Okay, the Butter Chicken pizza was really good. I did not have take sip of water after every bite, so it is a plus. Other restaurants and chains use too much seasonings. The price is also fair for how much toppings are on the pizza. I definitely recommend getting this for first-time goers -- since that was me.

My husband's boss' mandir buddy hangs out here and told me about the pizza. I ordered the paneer butter masala (small is 16.99) and it didn't disappoint! It's like eating paneer on naan. The sauce is just the right amount and you even get a cheese pull. I also did the lunch special for 10.99. Customer service was great and attentive. The place was clean and the food was piping hot!!

I love the boneless chicken dum biryani here. This is my ultimate go-to for biryani. The chicken is so tender and full of flavor! I always ask for extra spicy (basically extra masala) and I think that enhances the flavor even more. They have booth seatings on one side of the restaurant and the rest of the space is filled with normal tables and chairs. It can accommodate big groups if necessary. I noticed that they have started selling Indian pizza now! I might have to give this a try at some point, when I don't fall prey to ordering my usual. lol.

Mixed bag experience. Some dishes were really good while others were underwhelming. Street noodles and Kadai paneer were excellent! We had high expectations of the paneer pizza but it was just so so. Mixed vegetable Pakora and Gobi Manchurian were okay as well. May drop by again to try other dishes cause their menu is extensive.

    Malai paneer Pizza

We ordered Malai paneer pizza as to-go. It was quick, served super hot. It was good but lacking taste. Little bit of salt and oregano type flavor. They had multiple paneer pizza variety as butter paneer masala and chilli paneer.

Read a couple of bad reviews but still decided to give this place a try. Wow was I blown away. Not only are the portions fabulous but so are the prices -- and the food and phenomenal! This is hands down the best butter chicken i have ever had in my life, and it was served with the butter even oozing out of the top. i also had the Murgh Tangdi (which the guy said was an appetizer but fully could have been my entire meal)! it came out so fast and sizzling hot on a pan (cue the video)... amazing seasoning and so fresh. I also had the butter Roti, a 2 piece samosa, and a Mango lassi. Everything was hot and fresh and came out so quickly, and the mango lassi had a perfect color on it and not too sweet. The service was amazing and they were even playing such vibey music. I was dining alone but this could have been a meal for 3 people for sure. 10/10 and will be coming back!

    Son demolished the BUTTER CHICKEN!

Best Indian food in San Diego!! Especially the naan! Every dish is great, but the butter chicken is very loved by my kids.

Everything about this place was great--the service, the food, and the cleanliness. It's one of those hidden gems in a shopping center that you wouldn't expect to be this good. Then when you finally try it, you're almost mad at yourself for not discovering it sooner! Our server was fantastic--such a genuine guy. We told him it was our first time, and he recommended the mango lassi. It was amazing! The texture and sweetness were perfect--not overbearing at all. We also tried the curry chicken pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!

LOL I really liked how easy the waitlist process was. You show up, scan the QR code, add your name, number of people in your party, and get updates while you wait. Super simple and convenient. The owner, Syed Afzal, was up front checking on things while guests were being seated and to-go orders were flying out the door. He was incredibly pleasant and took the time to chat with me about the most popular items, especially for a busy Friday night after 10pm. He went over the top sellers, the most unique dishes, and he even shared a funny story about a couple who had apparently gotten into an argument/fight a few weeks back over a reserved table. LOL He also mentioned the other restaurants he and his partners have opened throughout NorCal and SoCal. Such a cool, welcoming guy, and you can tell there's a lot of pride behind what they're building and they love what they do. Now let's talk about the food and the atmosphere. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The whole restaurant had such great energy, with so many guests clearly enjoying their food just as much as I was, and some were celebrating something special by the way they were dressed. I had the goat dum biryani, and while it was packed with flavor, it eventually got a little too spicy for me, even with plenty of raita on top. So I happily took the rest home for a visiting sibling who loves spicy food. The chicken malai kebab, though? Absolutely to die for. Tender, flavorful, and easily something I would order again and again. The service was top-notch and the staff always came with a smile. Multiple people checked on me throughout the meal, and the entire restaurant ran like a well-oiled machine. I can't wait to come back with a big group so we can order a ton of different dishes and try even more of the menu. This place is popular for a reason. Couldn't be happier!

The service was ok at best. We ordered 4 entrees. 3 came out and we waited a few minutes and asked about the tandoori dish that we had ordered. The chicken masala sauce was very good but the chicken itself was kind of dry. The goat dish we got was good but there were a couple of pieces that were tough and was hard to eat. One of the pieces of chicken tandoori was very dry. We ordered the garlic naan which was kind of thin and also dry. The restaurant decor and music were nice. I liked the booths they had for a bigger party. The bathroom for the women's could not be closed because the door wasn't aligned right. Overall, I was slightly disappointed but glad that I came here to try it out. I would come here for a lunch special but not sure I would come back anytime soon, but it looks like they get a ton of Qualcomm employees and local families coming here.
