    Vegetable Pakora
    Aurianna B.

So stuffed after eating all the yummy things! We ordered garlic naan, vegetable pakora, gobi manchurian, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, paneer saag, kheer, gulab jamun, and ras malai. Our order also included a large to go container of basmati rice. There was plenty to feed our family of 5. We ordered mild for everything. The butter chicken was our favorite savory dish. We loved the garlic naan, for obvious reasons (garlic lovers here). The gobi manchurian was a new dish for us. It sounded good so we tried it and happy that we did. It was fresh and flavorful. We hadn't ordered Indian desserts before so we tried a little of everything. Hands down the gulab jamun was the winner! So light, fluffy and soaked in a delicious syrup. I kinda wish there were more but am glad there wasn't because I don't know if I could control myself (ha)! We ordered online and had it delivered. The wait was a little long but that is to be expected at prime dinner time. I can't speak to the service other than how they prepared and packaged the food, both of which were good. The food arrived still hot and ready to go. Overall, I think it was well priced, worth the wait and delicious. We will likely order from here again!

First time here and it's delish! Worth it! The tandoori and the Tikka Masala were bomb! The Gulab Jamun dessert was perfectly sweetened while the garlic Naan was devine! We came for dinner and it was not busy so we were helped immediately. Great service and friendly staff!

#5 Lunch 2 Meat 1 Veg Combo - Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Karahi, Bengan Bhartha / Baingan Bhartha with Plain Naan

Great budget option if you're craving Indian food for lunch. It's cafeteria style but the there are a lot of options and they're all delicious. For the amount of food you get on the lunch combo, it's hard to find a better deal elsewhere in Mira Mesa!

Good lunch combos. Usually get two chicken items to go along with half greens and half rice. I also get chapati instead of naan per my indian coworker who suggest to get. Nice place to get a quick lunch within the workplace premises.

Naan or Tortilla? This taste like a tortilla

Tried the paneer and tiki masala and some biryani rice. Rice was so so. Naan was not correct. It was more like a tortilla. Paneer and masala was good and Spicy.

Achar Chicken, Saag Alu, and Chicken Tikki Masala combo with spiced onions n sliced peppers. Garlic Naan @ Veg Paneer Pokora chasers.

Hey it's Stew and I'm back with an updated review of my go-to Indian restaurant. Indian Tandoor has been in this great location for over 20 years, and now has a fresh new look! Come on in and see the beautiful open interior with an expanded new menu. Some new items with our old favorites still around! As always great offerings and great service for quick sit down dinner, a quick grab and go, or even catering for a party (I've done them all). Mr Singh and his staff are the kindest most generous people who know through food & spice how to set you on the path to food nirvana! Suggested dishes: 1) Butter Chicken 2) Tikka Masala fries (or even ask for Shrimp Masala fries) 3) Gobi Manchurian Enjoy

Pretty good pricing for lunch and dinner. We usually get the dinner set which is 2 items, with rice, salad and naan. It used to come with a dessert but I think they stopped doing that. It's around $9. I like the chicken tiki masala cuz I'm basic. LOL I also tried something with eggplant that was pretty flavorful, but not as good. I think some of the items are a little older but regardless still tasted pretty good. I'll be coming back if I want something hearty and flavorful for lunch/dinner. If you check in you get a free samosa! :D

Worst Indian food ever. Chicken butter was tasteless and watery. Chicken biryani was not tasty as if they just added biryani powder into already cooked rice. Naan wasn't cooked well. Pokhara was just potatoes.

Not on the same level as Punjabi Tandoor, but not bad. Unlike Punjabi Tandoor, where you get to select the curries for your combo deal, here you have to pick whatever is sitting in the warming trays. The mushroom & alu and chicken curry were both delicious, but nothing out of the ordinary. The soft and chewy naan was the definite highlight. I think it's a little weird that the salad that they give you doesn't come with dressing. If you want dressing then you have to pick the raita, which means you don't get the kheer dessert. (You can only have raita or kheer.) The one meat and one veggie combo deal for dinner is a good deal at around $9.

LOL I really liked how easy the waitlist process was. You show up, scan the QR code, add your name, number of people in your party, and get updates while you wait. Super simple and convenient. The owner, Syed Afzal, was up front checking on things while guests were being seated and to-go orders were flying out the door. He was incredibly pleasant and took the time to chat with me about the most popular items, especially for a busy Friday night after 10pm. He went over the top sellers, the most unique dishes, and he even shared a funny story about a couple who had apparently gotten into an argument/fight a few weeks back over a reserved table. LOL He also mentioned the other restaurants he and his partners have opened throughout NorCal and SoCal. Such a cool, welcoming guy, and you can tell there's a lot of pride behind what they're building and they love what they do. Now let's talk about the food and the atmosphere. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The whole restaurant had such great energy, with so many guests clearly enjoying their food just as much as I was, and some were celebrating something special by the way they were dressed. I had the goat dum biryani, and while it was packed with flavor, it eventually got a little too spicy for me, even with plenty of raita on top. So I happily took the rest home for a visiting sibling who loves spicy food. The chicken malai kebab, though? Absolutely to die for. Tender, flavorful, and easily something I would order again and again. The service was top-notch and the staff always came with a smile. Multiple people checked on me throughout the meal, and the entire restaurant ran like a well-oiled machine. I can't wait to come back with a big group so we can order a ton of different dishes and try even more of the menu. This place is popular for a reason. Couldn't be happier!

The restaurant itself now feels neglected, and unfortunately the staff presentation reflects that. Several employees appeared unkempt and poorly groomed, which does not inspire confidence in the cleanliness or overall standards of the establishment. They desperately need showers, shaves, hair cuts, deodorant, clean clothes and shoes. As for the food -- the decline in quality is impossible to ignore. What used to be flavorful and authentic now tastes rushed, cheap, and poorly executed. The coconut chutney barely tastes like coconut anymore. Instead, it tastes overwhelmingly of chickpeas, seemingly used as a filler to support the "unlimited chutney" concept at the buffet bar. There's little to no proper tempering or seasoning, leaving you with what feels like bland chickpea paste masquerading as coconut chutney -- a key accompaniment that South Indian food simply does not work without. Their "Chaat Night" is equally disappointing and honestly an insult to authentic North Indian chaat. The flavors, textures, and freshness that make good chaat enjoyable are completely missing. The idlis were cold and hard as rocks, while the dosas arrived cold, soggy, and utterly lacking flavor or crispness. What a fall from grace. This place clearly can no longer maintain the standards and quality that made it popular when it first opened.

The dish was very bland, and even the chutney lacked the spice and flavor I was expecting. I also wasn't sure why the papdi was broken into tiny pieces--it felt like I got the crumbs from the bottom of the bag rather than whole pieces. I could barely taste the chickpeas or potatoes underneath all the sauces, which ended up overpowering the dish without adding much flavor.

The raita was pretty sweet which is not my preference, it tastes like sweet cream w carrots whereas I really like the onion and chili when it's more sour. The actual biryani itself is okay, not the most flavor- maybe it's because I got the non spicy. The masala was SOO good, holy cow- so much flavor, not even spice but pure flavor - the garlic naan was soft and great as well and these two dishes together were my favorite
