Ordered breakfast from here. My waffles were supposed to come with powdered sugar... they did not. No syrup no cutlery.

Staff and management were great. Food, not so much. The pancakes were extremely dense and very disgusting in taste. The hot hard boiled egg came to me cold. Sandwich was missing the avocado and when we requested it, the slices we received were extremely underripe. The portion size for the corn beef hash on the side was very small in comparison to competing breakfast restaurants. Potatoes had no flavoring whatsoever. We were comped our meal, which is not what we were looking for and I expressed that several times, so I do appreciate the manager being nice and not wanting us to pay. We were also given a gift card to try to come back and try again. It's been at least a week but I really just don't know if I'm going to do that or not. She was kind enough to recommend a couple of her favorite options from the menu so maybe one day if we feel froggy, we might try it again. This is my family's new favorite Saturday morning spot. You get a lot of food for the price you pay. The grits are amazing. I've had omelettes, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and a ham and Swiss bagel sandwich. Also, great place for kids! They have a $5.99 pick 3 kid combo that comes with 3 items and a drink. Some Kid pick 3 options are scrambled eggs w/cheese, banana, grits, home fries, 1/2 grilled cheese, and pancakes (which are shaped like Mickey mouse). I've never had an empty coffee cup and the young man who is usually the host/ cashier up front is always friendly and welcoming. Took 20 minutes for me to get bacon and eggs on a normal day, asked for manager and he was gone. I was probably there for an hour and the manager was gone the whole time. I could see the cooks, all pants sagging below their butt and on the phone the whole time they were cooking, so that's probably why my food came out slow. This is a good place to eat. I gave them 3 stars because for the last two days we have tried to do a pickup order. Each time we were placed on hold the first we were placed on hold for 10 mins and they hung up on us. The second time were placed on hold yet again for 10 mins and they never came back to the phone. Other than that the food is good. I guess if you would like to eat a meal you have to go stand in the long wait line they have outside. Very disappointed on this, my first and last visit, Omelet dry with little filling. Corned beef hash way too oniony, toast was cold didn't even melt the butter, home fries, (biggest disappointment) were hard, slightly burnt with absolutely no salt and clearly has been sitting around for a while. Our table was close to the food window and food sat there several minutes before making it to our table. Eggs Benedict ok but needs more sauce since the cook never heard of salt! Great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. They've got plenty of options for you to choose from and the menu is easy to navigate. I like to eat on the healthier side, and the menu has plenty of options indicated as healthier options. Plus it's easy to modify your order to meet your needs as well. They also have excellent and tasty options if you're craving a sweet or savory dish. My wife and I used to like to go to the Devine location, so we're definitely excited to have one within walking distance of our house now. read more

Im writing this post to give my take on the establishment. I visited this place twice and this time it wasn't pleased. The place was very clean, nice environment, and very relaxing atmosphere. I was ask was I dinning in or taking out and directed me to the bar. My waitress was nice and waited patiently til i was ready to order and I proceeded to order the Shrimp and Grits with sunny side up eggs, a side order of roasted potatoes with grilled onions and peppers, and a blue berry muffin. As I got home to dive in my plates I decide to put my potatoes on top of my sunny eggs just to mix the flavors together. Boy was I unimpressed. My potatoes onions and peppers taste as if it never left the pan. No feel of heat or even a warmth sensation hit my mouth at all. The eggs was good because you really can't mess up eggs. The garlic bread was good it didn't have the crunch most garlic bread usually but the season and butter blend was nice combination together. Now for the main course. The shrimp and grits looked very appetizing. The spinach blend with ham and tomatoes look wonderful. Then I racked my folk through the grits and was disappointed. Not creamy stiff and cold a little bit of warmth from the bowl. The shrimp was very fresh haven't had shrimp in a while but it was good but the worst part of the meal is i order it without swiss cheese. You would think they would listen. NOPE!!! I seen the stringy white stuff attached to my frozen grits and was just disgusted. For $23.47 that's to much for a meal that isn't to worth $10. My husband and I frequent this location often. So happy they opened one close to us! I love the Hot Trio sandwich the Tuscan bread is so delicious and toasty! Love the Southwest home fries too! AMAZING!! My husband and I have ordered delivery for breakfast twice now, and each time the food is just as tasty and fresh as if we were dining in. It's not very common to order eggs and other breakfast items, and have them arrive still tasty and warm, but eggs up grill makes that happen. Nothing is ever soggy and the quality is on point. First there are only 4 hot tea choices and I was brought one that I didn't order. 2nd my husband asked for no powdered sugar on his pancakes and it was on. Meh. Ok in a pinch or when you can't wait in line at a good brunch spot, but not a place to aim for on purpose. I got a breakfast wrap. It was supposed to come with bacon, but they brought me ham. I didn't want to wait or deal with it so I was just going to eat it. The ham was like the cubed stuff you get at the grocery store to add to a salad, and it was so watery the wrap was soggy. The worst part though was the Kraft singles slice of cheese inside. Maybe it's just me, but I get completely grossed out when I order something in a restaurant and it comes with a slice of processed "cheese". Ewwww. "Famous" home fries were bland. Coffee was decent.
