Had a delicious breakfast in May of 2026. Not sure what happened to all my pics from here. Service is always top notch. Received my birthday entree and got a to go order. So nice of Eggs up Grill to have the Smile Society for customers. Restaurant was very busy and everyone was friendly. The place is clean and the decor is cute with all the egg based pics. I like the Elvis Egg mural near the restrooms. I will return to support this breakfast place in Germantown. read more

I've been here several times now. I've held off reviewing only because my family likes it, we go often, and I keep waiting for it to be better so I can give a better review. I will just rip off the bandaid, sixth times the charm. They stay pretty busy and they have a pre arrival waitlist, but I have not been able to find it. Most days we have a small wait to be seated. Interior is really basic and super cost effective for the owner. It's a really basic open room with a bit of art on the wall. Chairs are terrible! It's like sitting on concrete. I don't blame them though. Get your arse up and leave so I can make more money!! Tehehe Servers are young, pleasant, and energetic. Service has never been an issue and most folks are actually very good. I've seen management dealing with pissed guests and did a great job. Guy with glasses and bucket hat. No issues here. Food is here/there/everywhere. I have not had an instance where all of my meal was good. Eggs overcooked constantly and on every single visit, almost every plate. Cold sides. Watery gravy. The sausage patties are really low quality, the biscuits are frozen, held, then grilled to recharge. It's just generic, factory made food, I feel like it is quality of c-store food. It's cheap dollar-wise so I guess it matches up like for like. Three stars stands for "A-ok". I must remember that it is ok to just be ok. A lot of times, I myself, am just "A-ok". If someone asks you how you are and say "A-ok", that would be considered very good I would imagine. So. I think this place is very good then! The unreachable 4th is due to a few things that keep repeating themselves on every visit mentioned above. I will continue to patronize this place and if it ever gets better, I'll bump it up. Been here a few times before. Decided to go here after Christmas worship service at Harvest Church Memphis. Waited about 15-20 minutes which was nicely less than what was quoted. Our waitress Ashley served us and was welcoming and attentive. The noise level was moderate which is to be expected. Wife got the the Little Waffle in the Henhouse which is 1/2 waffle with eggs and bacon. The waffle was nice and fluffy and the eggs and bacon cooked to order. I got the Homestead Platter which included scrambled eggs, 4 bacons, 4 sausages which I got 2 patties and 2 links as well as biscuit and gravy. Enjoyed it well. Overall experience was good and would recommend for breakfast and lunch. read more

I love the fact that you can digitally join the waitlist and have updated estimate time online. That's a plus when you're not sure how long of a wait before you go. Seating is pretty standard: tables, a low-top bar option, and what looks to be a party room. Moderate noise and spacious enough not to feel overcrowded. The service was good, not great, but not an issue at all. The food took a while to come out as we watched people who ordered after us receiving their food but once it finally did, it was well worth the wait. Hot, fresh, and well seasoned. My only take away on the food is the sweet "filling" on the French toast. I WILL get it again but take my advice and ask for them to only put it inside OR on top, not both....its waaaaaaay too much. What a pleasant surprise! I had no idea it was a chain because they make you feel like you're at a friend's house. The place is cozy and welcoming, and the food is just amazing. The Goodness Gracious was perfection and the crispy bacon is actually crispy. The staff is super friendly and finding parking was pretty easy - bonus. My husband and I ate breakfast here this morning. Very cute restaurant. We had a waitress that wasn't very friendly until she brought us the ticket. I ordered the Philly sandwich meal which came with fries and an option. To add a salad for $1.75. My husband had the chicken Baja omelet with a side of bacon. When we got our food, we had no fries with my sandwich and no bacon side order with his. She went back and added my fries as a side order which costed $3.50 when it was supposed to have been included with my meal with an upcharge of half that for my salad. And the side of bacon, which was 3 pieces, was $5. We feel cheated so we probably won't be back. read more

Decided to finally come and take advantage of my birthday breakfast. I'm familiar with this gem due to my door dashing in this area on Saturday mornings. I often wait on ppl more than should. So I decided long ago to JUST DO ME! Anyway, my breakfast was OUTSTANDING. My server, pardon me I've already forgotten her real name but she's wearing name tag HAWAII. I'm sorry Hawaii. Well, to draw attention to the one thing that drives me crazy. The long hair on servers--the hair is just flying around the food. I'm not questioning their cleanliness. Their hair styles are beautiful. BUT, for me, I prefer it is pulled back and gathered up so as not to take even a chance of it flying in my food!!! So this is a new spot on the breakfast scene, so there was a bit of a wait while the team is finding its groove. I'm starting with that disclaimer before I get to what you really want to know... Is it worth it? Hands down, yes! We traveled from Bartlett to Germantown TWICE to eat here. On Monday, they'd lost power due to the brief storm, so we made the trek back out on Tuesday morning. Once open for business, there was a wait and about a 30 minute delay on the food. Again, giving grace that they are doing business at a rate comparable to long-standing breakfast spots in the city. The management was incredibly attentive and making sure to stay in communication with all the guests about their orders, which goes a long way with customer satisfaction. Once our food was out, I was definitely ready to enjoy it. I ordered the Loaded Homefry Bowl with bacon and hubby ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette. Before I took my first bite, I asked for ketchup because I was prepared to have to doctor it up for taste a bit. I chalk it up to my experiences with other restaurants where flavor is often a missing factor. It was a mistake on my part because my bowl was the most delicious meal that I've had in a while! I couldn't stop complementing the chef because, as Southern aunties say, he put his foot in it! Absolutely delicious! And looks are deceiving because I thought that it was a small amount of food until I tried to tackle it in one sitting. I ended up only being able to eat half of it and then had another full serving to go. Contrary to my belief, it warmed up nicely in the air fryer for breakfast the next morning. The distance is a bit for me to make a regular visit but Eggs Up has definitely made my list of places to take people when they come into town to visit and where we'll go when we're having lazy Saturdays. But would I order it again? Probably not. Was hoping for more flavor and actual pieces of crab. My husband ordered some strawberry pancakes-found them to be pretty underwhelming. The grits that I chose as a side were very good. Husband enjoyed his home fries. One of the eggs on his dish was overcooked as well. The unsweetened tea that I ordered tasted freshly made. It is always dicey ordering unsweetened tea in the South. Many places think that the drinker won't be able to tell if the tea is a few days to many old-I am afraid that they are quite mistaken. The restaurant itself is bright and tables are well spaced. It was very clean. Service was good. Our server was just a beautiful young lady. She checked in on us regularly. Will I go back? Sure. I had the opportunity to visit after church and let me tell you, it was an overflow of guests coming and going. If you needed to be seated at a table, it was a 35-minute wait. Luckily for me, it was just me so I sat at the breakfast bar. I was greeted by my waitress, she was so spunky and fun and I enjoyed her. I ordered the Caramel Cinnamon Smile coffee topped with whipped cream. It was delicious, and if you are a coffee drinker like me, I would've ordered another one. For my entree, I indulged in the Coastal Crab Cakes Benedict with grits on the side. At first, I was enjoying the well-seasoned crab cakes dripped with hollandaise sauce until I crunched on an eggshell. I was very disappointed and didn't finish my meal. The grits were cooked perfectly but I added sugar to mine just to give it more flavor. Eggs Up Grill also has a private room that can fit up to 10-12 people in that area. New brunch spot in Germantown. I arrived around 12:40 was seated for 2 right away. The hostess and our waitress were very nice and on top of everything. I tried a French vanilla cappuccino. Very delicious and great temperature. I ordered the slices and spuds platter with a scrambled egg. I love that they use red potatoes as the "home fries." Everything was cooked really well and seasoned. The prices are very good as well. We finished about 30 minutes after closing and I believe it was the manager, but I loved how he thanked his kitchen staff. Need to be a little less watery and luckily there was salt on the table. Hiya folks! We did another drive around and landed at Eggs Up Grill. This place is super busy on a Sunday morning, but the service was quick. We're sitting at the bar with a birds eye view of the kitchen and the expo station and they were on point! The kitchen staff was putting the food out almost as quickly as they got the tickets. Everyone had a smile, and although they were slammed, nobody ran into anyone. The food was delicious the BLT was pretty good if you're looking for something healthier. I, on the other hand, went with the bacon infused pancakes. 2 hearty pancakes with at least 4 strips of bacon in the batter and the 2 more slices on the side. Topped with strawberries and powdered sugar. Oh yea! Along with a bottomless cup o coffee, a perfect breakfast. Definitely a great place for eating when you're in the area. They have a paper kids menu that includes crayons. Plenty to choose from on the menu, and seems priced competitively. Food came out on time, and was average to above average.
