Goooood Morning Hendersonville NC! You might think I am embellishing this, but this was the breakfast I've had in awhile! I religiously order the classic American breakfast. You would think that most places would do that well, but as much as I eat it...I can't say that. My eggs were cooked to perfection, bacon was perfect, and to compliment that I had some sourdough toast and their grits. Finally some diner grits with some flavor! Wonderful. I was very happy. My wife enjoyed a BLT bomb which is pictured in the review. We also thought their coffee was good too. We were greeted quickly and sat ourselves at the diner bar. We had a few attentive servers take care of us and we had a birdseye.view of the open kitchen where the short order staff was busy churning out the food. I was impressed all around and would definitely return again when visiting. This location earned my highest recommendation today. Thank you!

    Happy wait staff.

This an amazing place to eat. The food is so delicious and plated pretty. Sorry forgot to take pictures of my food but the staff is entertaining to watch. They act like a happy family. Sara was my waitress, good at her job. Coffee never went empty. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Planet Fitness is next door, so workout and load up on protein. Highly recommended!!

Two Eggs Up for this spot !! The menus is robust and has enough options for all the pickets eaters. I went traditional his time with eggs , bacon , toast and potatoes. The portion was perfect and I was surprised with the flavor. Along with good food the staff was friendly and fast !! Only advise is get here early as you might have to wait as the word is out in this spot !!

I rarely complain about things. The place is very nice, clean, and bright. Our server was fine, it has nothing to do with her. But, when I ask for eggs in a very specific way and make them repeat it back to me and somebody somewhere along the line gets it wrong, it bugs me. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu and it after two attempts, they still didn't get it right. It took forever to get the order in the first place and then they even forgot about my redone order the second time and started to bring us the check. The food was meh.

Shrimp and grits with 2 poached eggs

My hubs and I came on a Friday at about noon, and had no wait. I ordered the shrimp and grits bowl with 2 poached eggs, and was looking forward to popping those over my grits but unfortunately they were cooked all the way through. The rest of the dish however was very tasty and the garlic bread served with the dish was a nice touch. The manager checked in with us at the end of our meal and I gave him feedback about the eggs and he said if I had said something to the server they would have made new eggs to order, but when the server checked previously hubs spoke too quickly and said everything was good, so she was off in a flash. Hubs ordered a veggie omelette with home fries, and while portions were pretty large, he said both were really under seasoned and bland.

We loved the place. Bright and clean. Portions are not huge but very tasteful, which is more important to us. Service was excellent.

House fries and pick your pleasure omelet! Very good will be back!

We live down the road, this was the first time in, so we were very, very pleased! Probably our new favorite breakfast!

My husband has Celiac Disease. Do you offer any gluten free breads? If not, can we bring our own?

From the bottom of their online menu - "We offer gluten friendly items, however our kitchen is not a 100% gluten free facility." - But the best way to get the answer to your question is to ask the restaurant, just call them. (828) 560-3447

Once again, it was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. We took advantage of the corkage option and brought along our own bottle of wine. We even offered her a taste, which she enjoyed, and that little interaction added a nice personal touch to the evening. I started with the wedge salad, which was excellent, and the bleu cheese dressing was absolutely superb. My wife had the Greek salad, and it was equally delicious. For our entrées, I had the steak and my wife chose the shrimp and grits. Both were outstanding--perfectly prepared, flavorful, and honestly over-the-top good. My only disappointment was discovering that the Shrimp Scampi has been removed from the menu. It was always one of my favorite dishes, and I certainly hope they consider bringing it back! Overall, it was exactly the kind of dinner we were hoping for to celebrate my wife's birthday. Great food, excellent service, and a very enjoyable evening. We'll definitely be back.

We completely understood that we were early and would have been more than happy to wait for a seat to open up. Instead, the receptionist seemed visibly annoyed that we had arrived when we did and spoke to us rather dismissively, suggesting that we go to a bar down the street instead. We ultimately took that suggestion and went elsewhere. We ended up having such a pleasant experience at another restaurant that we decided to stay there for dinner and did not return for our reservation. It was disappointing, especially because we've enjoyed the food at Postero in the past. We weren't expecting to be seated early or accommodated immediately, just a welcoming interaction while we waited. Unfortunately, the way we were treated made us feel as though our business wasn't particularly wanted, so we chose to spend our evening somewhere that made us feel more welcome.

The food and service were the best we ever had. We were actually sad to leave as there were still so many choices on the menu that we wanted to try. I guess another reason to return. Our first night I had the chicken pot pie spoiler alert it is a generous sized portion you will not leave hungry but that did not stop me from getting the crème brûlée for dessert. Hubby had the deviled eggs that we shared presented beautifully underneath a smoked glass. He had the shrimp cocktail as well as the wedge salad before having the short ribs. Next night Saturday we started with our cocktails hubby Tangueray and Tonic and I had a Grey Goose Cosmopolitan. For my main course I had the Fish and Chips as well as Chocolate lava Cake for dessert. The food is delicious the service is impeccable and the atmosphere could not be more comfortable and relaxing sitting outside in this lovely Fall weather. The Inn was beautifully decorated for Halloween. The perfect setting in this historic Inn. Looking forward to our next visit and meal here. The menu has a wonderful selection.
