I've been to many Biscuit Head locations in the past, but this was my first time visiting here. Obviously since I have been to many other locations, I'm a big fan. This location did not disappoint. We went in around 12:45pm on a Sunday and got past the morning rush. Our food and drinks didn't take long to arrive after quickly finding a table. The service was solid, food was solid, overall a great experience. I look forward to my next visit.

Biscuit & Gravy and Full Breakfast

Just got into biscuits and sausage gravy, friends showed me how to make homemade gravy and I was hooked. First time trying BH. It was busy, staff very friendly. I thought the lien moved fast and food came out in a reasonable time. Plenty of Seating inside and out. Kinda pricey for breakfast for two, but the biscuits are the size of a cats head.

This was so delicious!! A nice stop before heading back to Virginia.

Great place and great food!!! The biscuit w As cooked perfectly and that gravy was delicious!!

Great place! So many options on the menu. I had fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, and whatever else came on that dish. Yum! My friend had sausage gravy, bisques & grits...she loved it. And my other friend had the breakfast scramble. He loved his dish. And then there is the jam and butter bar. I had so much going on with my meal. I didn't even go to try anything. But there are some really interesting jams and I really wanna go back.

Biscuit Head is a pretty well-known place in Asheville, in fact so much so there are three locations. I went to the one in Hendersonville and it was just as awesome as I hoped it would be. Of course it's busy and it's small and it's loud and that's to be expected. I placed my order for the fried green tomato biscuit and waited for my order. I expected it to take a super long time but it wasn't too bad. My food was so good and so filling. Everyone knows I'm a cat lover so I loved the cat theme. Also super cute that the number they bring to your table has pictures of cats that have been rescued. This is an easy yes! I will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

Pulled Pork Biscuit (no jalapeño pimento, GF biscuit)

Service and ambiance worked out well as usual. I got the pulled pork biscuit, which is a biscuit (I chose GF) with pulled pork topped with a poached egg, bacon, and maple syrup, with the removal of jalapeño pimento cheese and the addition of home fries. The home fries were well-cooked but could have been a little saltier. The biscuit plate overall looked a mess, but the flavor made up for it. The sweetness from the syrup worked out better than I thought it would, but the egg was medium-poached and I thought it would be soft-poached. Overall, though, grateful for a not half bad pre-Thanksgiving brunch.

We ordered at the bar, and the server was so nice, I loved the table cards with cats on them. She suggested some a brown sugar or butter pecan latte. I went with pecan it was delicious. The place has cat images every where!! Because they make biscuits as big as a cat's head. The murals inside and out were delightful as well as all the framed pics of cats. It's casual, but cozy.

Expensive and bland. Juice was pretty good, actual food, presentation was good, staff good, food accurate but bland. Trash not taken out frequently enough so flies accumulate outside. 2.5 stars.

The food is really good & the staff has always been friendly when we have visited. Hats off to the cooks. The eggs are delicious, light, not over cooked & not greasy. There is a decent variety of home made jams, butter, coffees & drinks. The main attraction is the giant biscuits. They are fluffy & not dry. Parking in the area is difficult & tricky. If you don't get lucky enough to park right on the street, just do yourself a favor and pay the $5 to park in the lot behind the restaurant to avoid the frustration of finding parking. They are usually quite busy so it's not a place we have stayed too long to just relax and hang out. Recommend for everyone.

After eating here for breakfast - the biscuits are huge * pork sausage gravy was spicy - took back for a plain gravy - which was a lot better - can't say I was impressed w the food - I really liked the set up - very nice dining area - that's where the stars are coming from - thanks again

The food was good. It's ALOT of biscuit make sure you get a tall glass of water! I'd go back to try something else when I'm in town again.

Fun place for breakfast in Arden. Service was swift and efficient. The biscuits are wonderful. A definite stop in Asheville area for breakfast or brunch.

This is the third Biscuit Head we have been to in Asheville and I think my favorite. The parking is a bit of a challenge but there is other places like street parking if you can't find anything in the lot in front. If you have not been to a Biscuit Head you can't get seating until you order and get a number. This is fine because you can find seating and like other locations it has some outdoor seating as well. I choose what I usually get which is the Filthy Animal, a fresh biscuit with egg, a fried chicken strip and bacon slices. This was covered in a shiitake gravy, a personal favorite gravy but they have other choices. They have a couple of different locally sourced coffees as well that are not grown here of course but roasted. The service is typically good but I thought they were even friendlier than the other locations as well. If you are are in Asheville then Biscuit Head is a must stop for breakfast.

The best falafel (a daily Benedict special) and that's saying something given I've eaten falafels in Israel, Turkey and NYC. The bed of arugula and hollondaise sauce was chef's kiss. Then there's the side dish of the feta potato salad. OMG! The server called the chef "young, hungry, and polished..." and truly I agree. My honey is a meat and potatoe dude and the burger he had was sumptuous. A hint of horseradish (he thinks) with the smoky bacon and perfect seasoned fries. In summary... total gastronomic taste gasm. The menu is Southern creative. We started with the biscuits and gravy appetizer which might have been a mistake because I was almost too full for my entree after sampling it. The signature gravy was heavenly! We scooped it up with our forks when we ran out of biscuit. The coffee is excellent and we all enjoyed the fresh squeezed juice. (Those are important touches for breakfast.) the service is super friendly. Maybe could use a more extensive child's menu. My older son eats like a little adult but my younger kid is a typical "kid" eater. Although he loved his waffles and the picture provided for coloring. If I lived in this neighborhood, I'd be walking down here all the time.

Our evening started with complimentary champagne....booked in advance and told the staff we were in town celebrating and they took great care of us. We skipped the apps, but were impressed that they offer smaller plates, along with their entrees. My wife ordered the 4 Oz filet, which was so tender that it didn't require a steak knife to cut it. Her butter knife was sufficient enough. Honestly, her fork would've been enough. You can tell they have good beef quality....the filet was very tasty. Was served with a sauce and whipped potatoes, along with fresh green beans. I ordered their scallops and polenta dish. Honestly, I think the garnish was a bit over the top.....however, their scallops were delicious and tender. I normally like a good sear but can appreciate how they prepared theirs. The seasoning was flavorful and their sauce with the garnish went well with it. The only mark I can make had to do with the polenta. It was quite tasty, but the consistency didn't match the description of the dish. Regardless, it paired very well with the scallops. Ended the night with complimentary dessert, which was their blackberry peach crumble with ice cream, which was delicious. One of the best desserts we've had in some time. Our waiter James was fantastic. He was great in describing dishes, and was timely with the service and making sure our drinks were taken care of. The manager on duty, Brooke, was wonderful as well and even extended well wishes on our celebration. All in all, their staff did a great job. You can also tell that the other tables got similar service as well. We had all intentions on coming back and checking out their brunch, which was highly recommended, but ended up doing something else the following day. This is a solid option for date night dining. Very intimate setting downtown. Parking is ridiculous to try and get close by, especially on a Friday night, but theres a parking deck under a mile away from the front door. This is another Asheville spot we'll have in the rotation. Very impressed and can't wait to try other options there in the future.
