An order was placed with this restaurant for a total of $37.52 on March 31st, coinciding with Easter Sunday. Despite the restaurant's online ordering system being operational, accepting our order, and charging my card, upon my husband's arrival to pick up the order, he found the establishment closed with a sign on the door. Contacting the restaurant on Monday to request a refund resulted in encountering rudeness, though they reluctantly agreed to process it. However, days went by without any sign of the refund materializing. After speaking with the manager, who assured me that the matter was resolved and even provided a purported receipt, which failed to show any credit or refund to our card, we remained patient. Yet, over 10 days later, the refund remains elusive. Upon reaching out to the owner again today, we were met with indifference. His response essentially amounted to, "tough luck, should have contacted me directly." Despite having called the number provided, which was answered by the manager assuring us of resolution, both parties have failed to honor their word and refund our money for undelivered goods. This raises concerns that others may have encountered similar issues. read more

My family and I had a great brunch at the Eggs Up Grill. We were suggested to take surf lessons by staff with Kokopelli Surf Camp, so we decided to check them out and we are so glad we did because it made our vacation so much fun. Within walking distance of our resort we were able to learn how to surf, our family and I caught some waves with the great instructors and even went Paddleboarding & Kayaking the next day with Kokopelli. OMG, I ordered the classic eggs Benedict with potatoes and onions on the side and it was probably the best breakfast I've ever had in my life! I am not kidding. The English muffin was cooked so that you could easily cut it. And the potatoes? Crispy all around! None of that half mushy half crispy crap you get out a lot of restaurants. My only complaint? They don't serve bloody Mary's or mimosas :-(((((. Oh well, breakfast was still fantastic with great service. read more

What happened to the old Eggs Up? We used to love coming here, great staff. Used to enjoy talking with the previous owners, very personable and welcoming. Many of the waitresses have left, and the new staff aren't really educated about the menu and have no personality. Sad to see a good place going south, literally. Sweet Potato Pecan Pancakes are still a favorite. Will try Eggs Up in Surfside - hope the personalities are better. read more

my favorite breakfast place at the beach, the home fries and the hash is to die for. You can tell these small chain cares about their customers. I have eaten at this location about 20 times and will continue to do so because of the quality of the food and the quick service. On a regular day i get my food in 4-8 minutes which is amazing in comparison to some of the other breakfast places around here. read more

I was working next door to this location, and staff of Eggs Up came out the rear door into the parking lot and starting smoking drugs. Clearly they have no respect for their employer or themselves, and felt it was ok to use drugs in plain view of coworkers and complete strangers. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. read more

This place is pretty good. Service is always friendly but you have to seat yourself and when it's busy it gets kinda crazy. I am not fond of the corned beef hash. I had 2 bites and left the rest. We have eaten there many times, but after what happened today, we will not be returning\. I overheard a grown man and two grown women laughing about the "short bus" and making fun of children with disabilities, including children who wear helmets and hit their heads\. At one point, the child with them, who appeared to be around 10 years old, fell onto the floor and pretended to have a seizure while the adults were laughing\. What made this especially disturbing was that a young adult with cerebral palsy was sitting with his family approximately 10 feet away\. He was in a wheelchair, and his family was helping feed him\. I initially asked to move tables because I didn't want to listen to it anymore\. While we were moving, I asked our waitress if the man making the comments worked there\. She told me he was the owner\. He was wearing the restaurant shirt and was on duty\. I decided to tell him how I felt\. After we moved, he came over again, apologized, and said he has a "big mouth" and needs to watch what he says in public\. He then offered to pay for our lunch\. I declined\. I wanted to pay for our own meal\. I wasn't looking for a free meal--I wanted him to understand why his behavior was unacceptable\. Our waitress was very nice, and this is not about her\. I am sharing this because I believe people deserve to know what I personally witnessed when deciding where they spend their money\. An apology is appreciated, but disability should never be something adults teach children to laugh at\. People with disabilities deserve dignity and respect whether they're sitting ten feet away or nowhere in sight\. As a special education teacher and someone who had a brother with cerebral palsy, I know firsthand that people with disabilities and their families deserve compassion, respect, and inclusion--not ridicule\.
