We were in the area shopping and came upon The Kitchen Table. This is a nice spot for breakfast or lunch and they had lots of specials. They had many sandwich selections and I opted for the turkey, bacon, avocado - this was on grilled sourdough but I subbed this out with lettuce. The Russian dressing was just right with the turkey and for a side I chose coleslaw. The bacon was crispy and the lettuce fresh. The others in my group loved their lunch too. One had a Philly cheesesteak and the other a chicken panini. I tried a bite of the Philly steak and it was delish. Service was great and we sat in a booth. We all enjoyed our lunch today.

The Kitchen Table. What a cozy name. Coming from an eye-talian family, the kitchen and the table are the places where memories are made. Some good, some bad, but just like a fresh batch of Mozzarella and Nonna's Sunday sauce - the kitchen and the table feel like home. The name is just so perfect. Imagine this scenario. It's first thing in the morning and you want to get the family to go to breakfast. NP$: "Eh yo, famigilo let'sa go getta some breakfast" Parents: "Only iffa your grandparents go" NP$: "Eh you Nonna Strombolina, Grandpa Stugots, let'sa go getta some breakfast" Nonna Strombolina: "aah breakafast? Whya you'a wanna go getta some breakafast when we can'a make it here?" Grandpa Stugots: "Backa in my day, we a no have'd the breakafast" NP$: "Nonna, Grandpa, please! We are going to a go spot." Nonna Strombolina: "Where" NP$: "The Kitchen Table" Nonna Strombolina: "Momma mia NP$, the kitchena table is right behind you, stopit the playing 'round" Grandpa Stugots: "Why'a you makin'a us so fussy." NP$: "No, no. The restaurant is called The Kitchen Table" Grandparents: "What'a wonderful name! Let'sa go!" Oh, it's a tale as old as time, folks. Go grab your Nonna. Go grab your grandpa, and bring them to The Kitchen Table, where you're greeted with warm smiles, and served a nice hot, delicious breakfast. The pancakes are homemade , the coffee is great, and the restaurant is a great one. 8.5/10 - would do it again! NP$

Showed up here at 8:45 with a party of 11 for breakfast. Unfortunately, what was described on the sign was not so. We offered to sit separately, but they couldn't accommodate that. We offered to sit separately under three entirely different waiters, but they couldn't accommodate that. We were only given the option to sit on the patio, but chose not to (because it was extremely hot already). There was no one sitting on the patio, but there was a waitress for the patio that could have served our group ‍ They only serve breakfast and lunch, and the restaurant was barely half full, but they didn't have enough servers at almost 9 am. I'm sure the food would have been great...but the irony of the sign did it for me

Had turkey lunch with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side salad. Cheddar Soup with a side of 2 biscuits. The soup was delicious! Our Waitress was so lively! Such a delight.

After eating at The Kitchen Table several time over the past year, I would give it 5 stars overall. Maybe in the middle of summer the food or service may be a 4 when they are super busy but that happens most everywhere at the beach.

Strawberry cream cheese French toast. Very delicious. Will reorder.

The food was eye appealing and delicious. The server was very sweet and helpful. The ambiance is beachy and bright.

Saw the sign with Boston Cream pancakes- drew us in. The pretty yellow plantation like exterior looks like the menu would be pricey- but it is not. Breakfast prices are below 10$ The inside is like a roomy Dennys. The inside is showing it wear-(could use new carpets and paint but with the prices so low - ‍ The wait staff are friendly and they appear to work well with each other. So now on to the pancakes- I was worried that they may be overly sweet but surprisingly they are a perfect balance and oh so delicious!!! My hubby's Eggs Benedict was perfect - the eggs were mesmerizingly enticing. I don't eat Benedict's but their looked delicious. We came during the off tourist season- was sat immediately- oh and coffee delicious not bitter ( both regular and decaf)

Eggs over easy, grits, corned beef hash, aaaand....Pumpkin Pancakes! This is life!

Listen, I can live on breakfast! I can have breakfast for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, just anytime! So yeah, I'm picky when it comes to breakfast. We were in N. Myrtle Beach for a woman's retreat so I had the day to myself. Breakfast in Myrtle Beach can be a nightmare with the crowds, poor service, and food chucked out the kitchen like an assembly line. But I found a gem in this unassuming spot called the Kitchen Table. Just a little north of Barefoot Landing, the breakfast here was exceptional. I order eggs over easy with corned beef hash and grits, with...wait for drumroll....PUMPKIN PANCAKES. Yeah I said it! It was absolutely amazing! Food cooked perfectly, great service, wasn't too crowded (around 11:30 on a Friday) and just good all the way around. If you want good home style breakfast at a good price point while in Myrtle Beach? The Kitchen Table is your spot!

We had gone on a Sunday and it was moderately crowded. Our server was very slow but realized that he is European and we as Americans are the only ones that eat fast. The food was really very good fresh and unlike any other restaurant around with the variety and dish servings.

Food and service were good. Yelp lies about them having oatmeal. I settled for the waffle covered in fruit. Family friendly with Mimosas.

Ask the Community - The Kitchen Table

    Are they pet friendly?

I have seen people come in with dogs, so I assume they are. Personally, I love dogs, but prefer not to see animals in a restaurant unless they are on the menu. I have seen dogs sit and stare at their owners for a half hour while they were eating,…

Do they have turkey products I.e. turkey bacon or sausage?

They don't have Turkey bacon or sausage listed on the online menu. I would call and ask! But I love their food and location!

The outside is great for families or for a date night. They have a section where they have an outside bar so you can be by the water. They also have a small stage that I'm sure they have music outside. So we started off with drinks and some appetizers. We had the calamari, street corn dip and the margarita. We had the steak with a side order of shrimp, had the Big chill burger with an extra side the Hawaiian pasta salad and the Big Chill Island salad with chicken. Service was good. The apps were tasty and if you like spicy hot it was good. The steak and shrimp was good and flavorful, the burger was good but not the pasta salad. It was not good, that even my daughter didn't like it. As for my Big Chill Island salad was also a disappointment. Not sure what it was but the flavors just didn't go well together. I always like to give places a second try so we might come back and I will try another dish.

My group ordered different plates and for the most part, no complaints but no one raved over their meal either. The drinks were good. I had the sangria and enjoyed it. The hula and fire show is good. I think that's all they have going for them. Our server (I forgot to ask his name) was good. He has an enthusiastic personality and a pleasure. Our table was right in front of the stage. There was also live music playing, which really brought the place to life and made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. For food, we ordered the shrimp meal and the gumbo soup. The gumbo was delicious and packed with meat, very hearty and flavorful. My only complaint is that I asked for less meat due to an upset stomach, but they weren't able to accommodate that, which I understand. The crackers served with the soup also tasted a bit old and off. The shrimp, however, was very tasty and enjoyable. We attempted to visit LuLus on Thursday, but they were closed due to A/C issues. We came back on Friday and were glad we did. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind from the moment we arrived. There was a sign outside saying they weren't going to be opening that day, or were opening late, or something to that effect. We were short on time, so we started looking around for somewhere else to eat at Barefoot Landing, pretty disappointed that we couldn't go to our favorite spot. That said, I saw there was a new place called Lulu's right around the corner. I checked out their menu, and it looked like a fun place to eat. The pictures of the food looked pretty good, so off we went. Upon arriving, the first thing that struck me was the big, open atmosphere of the establishment. It wasn't very cozy, but the hostess did greet us in a friendly manner and took us to our seats--which ended up being one of the worst aspects of this restaurant. I have never been more uncomfortable sitting in a restaurant in my life. I know that's a weird gripe, but these were some of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in. They hurt so bad. My kids were seated on the benches across from us, and they could barely even reach the table. My wife switched places with my son, and the benches were covered in what looked like footprints and dirt from people standing on them. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We started off with drinks. We all got soft drinks, and every single one of them was flat. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, and they were OK. The dipping sauce was great. My wife and son ordered the tacos, which they said were bland, tasteless, and pretty underwhelming. My daughter ordered a kids' cheeseburger, took one bite, and said it was disgusting. Unfortunately for me, I ordered one of the most expensive things on the menu: a seafood entrée where you get to pick two items. I picked the fish and oysters, both fried. Some of the oysters tasted like they were kind of rotten--very fishy. The fish itself was OK, but the breading they used was absolutely atrocious. It tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in weeks. The fry on the fish was dark and had an almost burnt, overly salty taste to it. Absolutely terrible. As we were about to leave, a live band started playing, and they sounded pretty nice. I wish they had been playing while we were still eating, but by that point we were so ready to get out of there. We were incredibly disappointed. The real shocker came when I got the check. For our family of four, it was almost $110 before the tip. This food was in no way worth that kind of price. I honestly would've rather gone to a fast-food restaurant. This place gets two stars simply because the staff we encountered were friendly and because of the live music. Otherwise, this is one of the most boring, aesthetically unappealing restaurants I've ever been in, with some of the worst overpriced food I've ever had. Never again. We definitely won't be back.

We each picked a couple items, and at first I was skeptical about how well such a mixed menu would come together. That skepticism didn't last long. What's impressive is how they manage to cover different cuisines and still execute them well. The shishito peppers came perfectly grilled and paired with an amazing sauce that really elevated them beyond a typical appetizer. The meatballs felt like something straight out of a family kitchen comforting, rich, and reminiscent of grandma-style cooking. The shrimp scampi was another standout: flavorful, well-balanced, and not overdone with butter or garlic. But the real highlight of the night was the pistachio espresso martini so smooth, creative, and easily one of the most memorable cocktails on the menu. Overall, it's a great spot for sharing plates and trying a little bit of everything. It turns what could feel like a scattered menu into a fun, consistently solid dining experience.
