The chimichurri sauce was the savory icing on chop. (I couldn't resist) My eggs were scrambled spread eagle on the plate . I never seen eggs presented in that way. Everything was hot and delicious. I am honestly writing this months later , after the fact, but I don't remember having a customer service issue. They made my favorite carrot ginger drink. I had 2 ! So spicy . One of the bartenders used to work at the Blue Lagoon and I was so happy to see her. It's so funny how you make strangers apart of your life while enjoying your meal. Decided to finally go to Eggspectation. I got on the waitlist via online and it said 5-7 minute wait. Got inside and was told about 20 minutes but waited about 45 minutes more. It was definitely busy and a lot of people waiting to be seated. It appeared trendy and nicely decorated. If waiting there is a bar but seating there was full as well. Parking is good if parking in the rear or the parking garage across the street on the other side of World of Beer. The menu was very inviting and mouthwatering. I ordered the Chicken and waffles, a side of eggs and fruit on top of my waffles and an espresso martini. Unfortunately the eggs were the only thing I ordered that came out ok. The check came out and it had chicken tenders and fries and eggs price was $4 which was $2 on the menu. In addition, there was gratuity added with the service being terrible only for the food and my drink. The server was attentive. The bill was paid and the server was given a tip just because. First time at Eggspectation and the steak and eggs were quite the disappointment, the steak although cooked medium had some piece of white string that was visible after cutting into it and I brought it to the attention of the lady i assume that was manager has a shape up and some braids and when i showed her the steak and the white string in it she said well we wouldn't have put that there so all I can do is comp some of the steak. We inquired about some drinks but eliminating some ingredients because well....sugar. None of us are fans of super sweet drinks. Gonna give this place a 3 star rating and here is why...
