    FRENCH TOAST
    Tyler C.

Terri has been here for 12 years and is still smiling, serving and providing locals with a place to escape. Free refills on coffee. Wifi that works and a Stevenson vibe that can explain the smile. Tucked away in a business park three turns from a main or visible thorofare. Breakfast, lunch and cookies. Breakfast bowls, French toast, pancakes or eggs. Combo ordering without a la carte options makes ordering a bit complicated. No grits or granola (what's wrong with college students that they don't demand this?). No tv. French toast is soft bread. Bacon is mildly crisp. Highly recommend stopping by.

Half of a turkey sandwich, a side of fresh fruit, a delicious chunky chocolate chip cookie and fresh iced tea with a splash of lemonade.

We decided to stop and get lunch from Terri's Cafe for takeout. We were very pleased. Terri took our order and she was very helpful and pleasant. We shared a delicious turkey club. This small restaurant exhibits a very happy atmosphere. I am very happy that we went there today. Terri's Cafe has been open for 12 years and I wish we went there sooner! I highly recommend!

Terri's Cafe is tucked in a business center in Owings Mills off Crondall Ln. this was my second time visiting and I tried out their Peruvian Grilled Chicken Bowl. In addition to the romaine lettuce and avocado, there were mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, black beans, and onions as the vegetables all served over rice. The green sauce served as a great vessel to enhance the flavors when mixed in with the veggies, chicken, and rice. The customer service was great. They made it a point to get to know their customers and their names which I appreciated. That's something to me which makes you feel special. Finishing off my meal was freshly baked chocolate chip cookies which is ALWAYS the way to my heart! They were SO tasty! All in all, I had a great second experience at Terri's Cafe in Owings Mills. The prices were in line with food portion size as well. With ample parking and indoor plus outside dining, Terri's is a place to visit!

Excellent food; spectacular, friendly service. Really great find while in the area for a college sporting event.

I love this cafe ! Every single time I have been to this establishment I have received the same level of professionalism, great costumer service, Delicious food, and cleanliness. Always the same level of professionalism over the phone. 5/5 in all areas. I typically get the same sandwich which is Terri's panini it comes with a side and sometimes daily specials. This cafe has great quality fresh food made to order at a great price. My food is always fresh and hot. And love the fresh baked cookies.

The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. One of my favorite memories is sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a cozy meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to take your food home. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with generous portions, great service, and food that keeps you coming back, Glenwood is an excellent choice. This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

July 2026 update: A second visit to Glyndon Grill was again great but also surprising:…read more What was great: the creamy crab soup, the intrinsic value of the restaurant week lunch package and the service. Everything all of us ate exceeded expectations and also represented a fine value, but the creamy crab soup was truly special. What was surprising: That the restaurant was nearly empty on a summer Tuesday. Yes it was hot out and a weekday. Still, based on the cuisine and experience, they deserve to be packed always. We had made a reservation that in hindsight, we did not need. What else was a little surprising: the staff charitably offered to split our check without even being asked. So often such a request is greeted with sighs or worse. Little things mean a lot! ***** A lunch reservation required on a weekday? Really. At Glyndon Grill, unless you are arriving by say 11:45am, the answer seems to be a resounding yes. By the time we left at 12:30pm, not a speare table was seen. And Glyndon Grill deserves its popularity. What makes a lunch spot (they are open for dinner too) so very popular. Adjacency to the always-popular-and-stellar Santoni's Market cannot hurt, not can the upscale neighborhood, but come for the food and service. I was focused on health-conscious fare, the the menu offered a diversity of intriguing choices. My premixed (with dressings on the side) Cobb Salad was wonderful. I could choose just how much of the mouth-watering fried chicken morsels I did and did not ant to eat, calorically. My tablemate, also watching pounds and inches, got the grilled salmon with broccoli. Neither could have been better. Best of all was our waitress Anne. Ask for her by name. Supreme professionalism dripped from her every word and action. Attentiveness and pleasant without being obtrusive at all. Yes she probably wanted to turn the table (but you could not tell unless you intuited that fact), and we accommodated because her happiness made us happy too.

For us, this is reserved for a special occasion. We decided to go for our 45th wedding anniversary which was in a very cold January. We were seated all the way upstairs. I noticed that someone said they went through the kitchen and that's not true. The kitchen is off an area on the way upstairs. You see it, but I've seen food being cooked at my local Carrabba's....didn't affect us in the least. The upstairs was definitely more peaceful than downstairs which is pretty loud. If you are celebrating something, I'd be sure to let them know if you are expecting a more peaceful experience. It's a lively atmosphere in most areas of the restaurant. As for the dining, in a word it was stellar. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was amazing and everything was timed perfectly. We really enjoyed all the dishes were were served. I only wish I would have known they were giving us dessert. Wouldn't have bought but one more as the hubby is gluten free. We truly enjoyed our dinners and hope to return over the summer!

The champagne toast was a nice touch from the restaurant. We were seated at a window booth that was a little cramped and I was surprised we weren't seated in the main room with the piano player given our occasion. Regardless, the seating did enable us to have a window which wasn't horrible. Our drinks were tasty although no Guinness on tap or by the bottle (-1). Our Oysters Avery appetizer was amazing (+1). We split the Bibb Salad and it was smallish but pleasant. I ordered the LOBSTER TAGLIATELLE which was delicious smothered with lobster, caramelized onions, tomatoes and some truffle sauce (+1) although my bride got the filet and scampi which was reminiscent of a tapas plate (-1) and you get one shrimp for $9....(-1). The dish was good but honestly, the Victoria's Filet @ Bloomin Brands arguably has a better steak at their restaurants. We flirted with a desert idea but all in all we didn't feel the value for the price was worth it especially after seeing the steak and shrimp. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful and service was pretty good although I hate when your server takes your check when you haven't left the table...this made us feel rushed and personally it's tacky (-1). We're one and done at the OG....although I hope your experience is more positive.

Each of us had one of the worst meals we have ever had in a restaurant of that category. To begin with, I ordered a wine with which I am familiar. This particular bottle must not have been stored correctly and had an "off" taste-- loss of flavor, slightly sour....in any case, after calling a manager it was replaced with a better, different bottle-- (we take it for granted that their wines re overpriced). It was changed, but reluctantly, by an ungracious manager. I then ordered a Greek salad. Instead of a Greek salad, the waiter brought me a chunk of iceberg lettuce, covered with bacon bits. i sent it back. In its place came a salad with lettuce, small bits of tomato, and pracitcally microscopic bits of cheap feta. The whole thing was doused with vinegar (Greeks abhor vinegar and use lemon juice.) My final course was a plain fish-- plain is indeed the word, as it was absolutely tasteless. The service was as poor as the food. We could not wait to get out of the place. What a disappointment-- Linwoods was once a fine restaurant. I would have enjoyed my meal better at any number of fast food places.

Brunch was understood here. The French toast was very nice and not heavy despite its massive quantity. The flavors complimented each other all the way until the last bite. The Montecristo sandwich was balanced savory and sweet flawlessly. This was a hearty selection and could be shared with two. The cheese grits had to be made by someone's grandma IYKYK. The cowboy bacon I could just have a tray of it as it was a flavor bomb covering heat, sweet, salty, savory, and smokey. The staff was super friendly and accommodating working as a team. Like many other reviewers, we found it very difficult to locate the restaurant within the plaza. Once we arrived, we were seated quickly, and the initial service was prompt. I also want to acknowledge one aspect of the service that I genuinely appreciated. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be stressful, yet the staff were attentive to my dietary needs, offered several safe options, and clearly communicated which items might not be appropriate for me to eat. That level of awareness and consideration made me feel welcomed and cared for, and I am grateful for it. Hence, I feel comfortable, providing one star for that purpose. That being said, there were a few moments later when we had trouble finding our waitress after requesting changes to our order. Unfortunately, the changes to our order ultimately became necessary because the food simply was not good. My husband and I both ordered the shrimp and grits. I ordered mine without sausage, while he kept it as prepared. The grits were gummy, sticky, and overly cheesy, something I never imagined I would complain about. As a Black Indigenous American woman, shrimp and grits represents far more than a menu item to me. It is a dish shaped by generations of cultural exchange and resilience, drawing from Indigenous corn traditions and the culinary practices carried by African ancestors and preserved within Gullah Geechee communities. Because of that rich heritage, I hold this dish in high regard. Unfortunately, this version felt disconnected from the flavors, textures, and history that make shrimp and grits such a meaningful part of Southern food traditions. My husband ultimately sent his meal back and ordered the fish sandwich instead, which he also found disappointing. I added an egg to my dish in hopes that it might improve the experience, but it arrived long after I had already lost the desire to continue eating. I was also surprised that, in a state with such a strong military presence, particularly in Baltimore, there didn't offer a military discount. What saddens me most is that we chose this restaurant over several other options because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I believe honest reviews matter, both for future customers and for owners who genuinely want feedback to improve. We spent our money expecting a memorable treat to celebrate my recovery and instead left feeling disappointed and regretful. Looking back, I wish I had asked for a refund while we were there. Honestly, my husband is still upset upset that he spent his money. Despite having the funds available, he believes we would've been better off having a meal at home.
