best breakfast/brunch place in dfw! my boyfriend & i always come here when he visits from college & our experience is perfect each time! the workers are always super nice & attentive & the owner (?) likes to walk around the cafe and check up on everyone. the food is awesome & prices are super reasonable. i'm super picky with pancakes and the "very berry pancakes" are filling & tasty! the bottomless coffee is necessary when coming here. been to almost every breakfast/brunch place in the dfw area and eggsquisite will remain number one on my list for the amazing service, food, and prices! read more

The service here was EGGcellent (; I don't ordinarily order steak-related food items at nonsteak places, but my waitress had suggested the Steak Skillet and the owner assured me that it was USDA Prime. (still not too sure about that one considering the price was $14.49 for not only the steak but also for the eggs, peppers, onions, and hashbrowns underneath.) The steak was undercooked and my waitress, I believe her name was Stephanie, was very attentive and noticed this. She made sure to check on me and alert the owner of this mistake which I greatly appreciate because I didn't even have to complain. THAT is AMAZING customer service and both the owner and the waitresses are attentive to the needs of their customers to a further extent than most restaurants. The food tasted good with a little salt and pepper, but was just very average. They offered a few unique options; however, you could get the same thing at ihop and more food- the omelette wasn't super stuffed with ingredients like those at ihop- for the same price. The gentleman at the front taking names and number of party set the standards real high with his friendly, upbeat personality. We arrived for Sunday brunch, a 40 minute wait, no big deal for a party of 10. Super friendly server who kindly took all of our orders, took good care of our large party in addition to the other tables she had; she didn't miss a beat. Food was fantastic, everyone was happy with their dishes, our coffees, and their freshly squeezed orange juice. There's a machine up front, squeezing fresh oranges on the spot, a simple but fun piece of entertainment I ordered the Eggs Benedict and swapped the bacon for Turkey bacon; I was so thrilled they offer that substitution! I will say that my eggs were over cooked, but I'm still giving them 5 stars, because I believe this restaurant really is a team. And the cooks will benefit from a positive review, and more likely make sure all future egg Benedict dishes are cooked the correct amount of time. Their chicken sausage is also full chicken, including the casing; important information for some. And, last but certainly not least: the owner. I believe her name is Nikki (it was a little loud in there, so I may have misheard). Nonetheless, she is amazing! So friendly, checking on all the tables, making sure her guests are happy, and making sure her staff is keeping up their energy. There were several families at the restaurant for a special holiday, and she wished them a Happy Holiday, and that was awesome to see. Delightful as usual. The first this you'll notice is how friendly the staff is, I've been here at least 5 times now and that has always been consistent. If The coffee isn't good at an establishment that will set the tone for my dining experience, the coffee here is really good. Each time I have eaten here the food has been consistently good for the most part. The only thing that I ordered that I did not care for was the crab cake and that was because it had a fishy taste. In addition to the delicious coffee they also have fresh house made orange juice. It was super busy when I went so our table was tucked in the front right corner behind a long table hosting a large party, which was fine. However, the space was so tight that our server couldn't reach our table so we had to grab everything from them and drinks ended up being spilled on the floor and other guests. First time visit Saturday August 24 around 11. We were greeted at the door by the friendly owner, had a brief wait but it wasn't bad at all. The interior is fairly stark and modern, and the hardwood floors really help the sound bounce around. It was a little loud for my parents taste, but it didn't bother me much. There are a lot of items on the menu that sound great, but today I had the Santa Fe skillet and was completely happy! The portions are a generous but not crazy from what I could tell. The pancakes looked large but thin, light and fluffy. The freshly squeezed OJ was delicious, as was the coffee. I think the value overall was pretty good as well. There are a ton more menu items I'm interested in trying and I live close by so I'll definitely be back! read more
