As a essential worker in Oc I drive out here to take my covid19 test. This is my first time coming to a 360 Fulgent's kiosk. This pop up booth is located at the Elhers Center right out in front by parking. I made an appointment on line chose the available slot and presto ! Did I say windy here today I was not prepared for all this wind let alone wonder if they can hold the canapies down. I arrived 30 minutes early to get familiar with location and in case there might have been a line. At 9 am I walked up to the kiosk, showed my appointment via cell, I was given a bag with all my Information. I then was asked to stand on the side. There another woman was showing 2 others exactly how to do test. After taking test you drop it I a container. You then proceed to the 3rd location your name is confirmed, temp is taken, oxygen, I was asked if I had diabetes which is the 1st time ever out of 4 test taken. I'm type 1 and have Asmtha. We had our sons 1st birthday in veterans hall. It is the more dated hall but suited our needs and the price was ok considering what other halls are going for in the area. I would definitely do it again. 4 stars because of the disorganization of getting our deposit back. read more

I've come as a guest for an annual group (Bailen Association of Southern California) event a few years in a row now. PROS: - the place was always clean - ample parking (just be patient and wait or park around back and walk a little bit), lot is well lit at night - unless the chairs and tables were rentals, those were in good condition. I've been to other community centers where the chairs were falling apart from years of use. - toilet facilities: clean, with soap, paper towels, toilet paper replenished CONS: - parking can be difficult when multiple events are ongoing - GPS got me through the back door from Knott Ave and through an apartment parking lot so maybe the address isn't very precise. - provide your own catering The Knot features this as an event center, so I suppose that's a stamp of approval too. read more

Quick short review. I'll expand it later. The Buena Park Rec center has a very nice wood dance floor. Not just linoleum which catches and drags our shoes while dancing. The dance floor is quite sizeable. Small kitchen attached. The outside bathrooms are closed for now. The bathrooms which are open are rhrough the hall and in the back. Tons of free outdoor parking in a private lot. Boys N Berries Square Dance club dances here regularly. In late April each year, the OC Callers Association sponsers a New Dancer Hoedown. read more

The bad reviews keep coming... I just got done with my son's first b-day party at Heritage Hall... The customer service up to this point was great, but on the day of, these people were straight up rude and power trippin... I will call you out by name because you guys pissed me off THAT badly. MARK SAUCEDA - You told us that we had the venue until 2 and that cleanup could start around 2. Which meant that we needed to be out by 2:15 - 2:20. But today, the on site worker told us that cleanup started at 1:30 and we had to by out of there by 2. Mark, you cowardly hid behind Andrew (your little pawn) because you weren't even on site to take care of us... you refused to talk to me on the phone and said that I would have to speak to you on Monday... Which is useless because my event is today! The setup of the tables and chairs was a complete mess and we rented out the place from 10 - 2pm, but your people didn't open up the doors until 10:08am. SO YOU EXPECT US TO KEEP TO THE TIME BY THE MINUTE, BUT YOU GUYS DON'T HAVE TO??? Explain that to me PLEASE? The on site worker had one of those fake nice fronts with a low-key rude personality. Just a heads up for those of you looking to book this plaza for your special day. DON'T DO IT. There is ZERO communication between the staff, not to mention towards the person booking the event. And to top it all off, day of your event if you book and pay for a certain amount of hours they will stop it an hour early and rush you and your guest to clean the area so they can leave right at the time YOUR event is suppose to be done. If you don't agree they threaten you and tell you that you will loose your deposit ($1,000 :/) so please save your selves the stress and book somewhere else. Where you and your event are important. FYI - try NOT to speak with Mark Sauceda the "supervisor" very UNPROFESSIONAL, Not to mention RUDE. His team is a great example of his leadership. read more

Very helpful staff. They were quick in providing our needs during our event on December 8, 2018 Liberty Hall. The venue fits perfectly for all our needs for the event. The restrooms were clean, and everything was set up before we arrived. Great job Angela Arias and staff!!! See you again next year! read more

We went here for a special event and had a wonderful time. The hall can hold quite a bit of people. There must have been at least 150 people there for the dinner and dancing. The restrooms were fine, and there was plenty of parking. The party ended early though. I believe they had the community center only until 10 pm. read more

My first time here, I signed my daughter up for an art class through the city of Cypress. Upon entering I had no idea where to go but the staff was very nice and helpful. This place is pretty big and there are people throughout doing various activities. This is a senior center but they also hold other age activities. The art class is small which is great and allows for more one on one attention. The teacher greeted us and explained their procedures. They do require parents to wait outside of the classroom but there is a large outdoor waiting area with windows so my child and I can see each other the whole time. read more

Sorry for the long review but I feel like this needs to be shared.... I went in a few days ago to attempt to book Heritage Hall. The supervisor, or so she claimed, Angela, didn't know much about the policies. She was knowledgeable about prices but nothing else. She kept saying she would need to check with her boss, Mark but would never get back to me. I attempted to call the direct number she gave me several times, and left voice messages, but not one call was returned. I decided to call the front desk and speak with her superior, Mark Salceda, who was extremely rude. He kept interrupting me and talking over me, when I was just trying to ask questions. I felt like he was in a hurry to get me off the phone, like I wasn't important enough for his time. When speaking to him, he gave me a completely different set of rules, that didn't correspond with Angela's. It seems like there is no communication between administrative staff at this center. I had attempted to go in to get better clarification about things, and the staff were the ones who gave me the most information. Win and Donna were extremely helpful and kind. Win showed me the hall and answered the majority of questions. I spoke Renne at the front desk, she informed me this was a senior center, I hope that I don't live this long to need any services here. If I do, I will definitely go to a different center! I decided to book a different hall, simply because I didn't feel like I would be given the same answers the day of my event, seeing as Mark and Angela aren't even on the same page. I am just glad I didn't procrastinate too long to book my venue for my event, otherwise I would have been at a loss. read more

I've rented Heritage hall twice and didn't learn the first time. The venue is nice and had everything we needed for the event. I made my minimum deposit at the time of reservation and made the final payment for my first time renting the day it was due. They didn't update their system and got threatened of losing my reservation for non payment. When I recognized the voice on the phone to be the person I made my payment to, she apologized and "magically" found that I did in fact made my payment. Now fast forward to 6 weeks after the event, when I should have received my deposit back, I got the run around and had to call three times to find out IF the deposit was even mailed. Finally, speaking to a manager, he says "it was just processed"..... I received by deposit almost 7.5 weeks after the event. Now a year later I reserve the same location and already know the drill....I didn't have any issues with the payment, but the return of the deposit is still a nightmare even after 7 weeks after the event! I have had to call 4 times with no resolve. It seems only the managers and finance department can tell you anything about my expected deposit. 1) I left two messages = no return calls, 2)I was told the request was with the Finance department and it depends on when they sent it out, but I should be receiving it any day 3) "please call back later, that department is in a meeting". Their lack of follow up or procedures need to be re-evaluated if they want happy and returning renters for their venue. read more
