While we still see the *occasional* roach after 11 months of our year contract, we feel much more protected with monthly sprays and consistent check ins. (I did have to reach out once during winter when there was a month gap between visits, but they immediately came out after my inquiry and have been consistent ever since.) The service is relatively pricey (roughly $1,000 for the initial visit, and then monthly charges of $100), but I believe it has been worth it to know that we are not infested. I will gladly take 1-2 roach sightings a month over 30-90. Our representative, Joseph S., is always on-time, kind, willing to answer our questions, and happy to talk about pets. We are grateful that we have been able to see the same person each visit, and he always does a wonderful job.

The salesman, Eddy, came to my residence and quoted $12,000 for the exclusion, insulation replacement, and solar fans. Eddy then offered to encapsulate the crawlspace for $12,000. After completing research, we decided not to hire Terminix, however, Eddy begged my wife to give them a chance because they were under new management and have change their ways. Therefore, based on our needs and giving Eddy a chance, we decided to just have Terminix complete the attic, without the fans ($6,300). We also went with a different company for the encapsulation due to Terminix reviews. The crawlspace was flawlessly completed, by our local company, in 2 weeks. But, Terminix was dragging their feet on the exclusion and insulation. We provided them with a credit card, after we hired them, in which they said it was policy. After several weeks (end of Jan), a sudden charge to my credit card from Terminix for $1700, which was odd because the attic was $6,300. I called Terminix and they explained it was for the exclusion. Due to the charge not being authorized and the exclusion not being complete, I contacted my credit card company and placed a hold on the charge. I called Eddy and explained that they did not have authorization to arbitrarily charge my credit card. They did not apologize and I stated it was borderline fraud. I had to call cooperate and after a couple of weeks (end of Feb). They finally finished the 1 day job that was suppose to be completed in Dec/Jan (about 3 months after they were hired and several phone calls). My wife then wrote them a check for the remainder of the payment due however, they then ACH my checking account for the additional $1700, which they had already charged my credit card. This was not with my authorization and they never told us. Just be aware that the management running this branch are very shady and will charge any card you give them without authorization and not complete the work when agreed upon. Cooperate does not do anything to assist with the situation and seem to be very hands-off. Please do not fall for this as my wife and I did because they will not complete the work as promised and start charging your credit card without authorization.

He would tell us the price is one thing, then charge us twice at a higher number. At one point we talked to the owner, who was very kind and fixed things, but the guy that came out did an incomplete job because we started seeing ants all over the place. When we brought this to our attention, the same guy who overcharged and double charged us said that we were behind, despite not showing any invoices. We talked to the owner again and got things squared away. He texts my wife asking if he can come out again, and my wife replies "We will be looking at other services until we are comfortable with the consistency and reliability of your service." His response was "I don't know what that means", so we left it at that. Today he calls my wife 5 times, which is just crazy. My wife didn't recognize the number so I called it, and he said "5 times it doesn't sound like something I'd do" I told him we requested to be canceled, and he said "okay, I'll put down you canceled". I responded with "you can tell the owner it was the lowlife that called", to which the guy laughed, and tried to stir things up. I simply said "I'm done with this conversation" and hung up. The owner is absolutely great. If it was him still coming out we'd still be all on board. But whoever this other guy is, has a screw loose, if he thinks lying about charges, double charging, and calling people 5 times, then lying about calling people 5 times in a row is acceptable. The only reason I haven't posted anything when all of this started is because the owner is so great to work with, and has resolved the issues in the past. But calling someone 5 times? Thats harassment. Come on people, let's use some common sense. Don't lie about it.

I've had three different technicians come to our home so far, and every single one has been great! We originally started using their services after my Seresto flea collars failed us and my dogs brought fleas into the house. Granted, we had blasting going on directly behind our house while a new neighborhood was being built, as well as blasting happening at the front of our neighborhood for a different development. This was likely contributing to a much higher-than-normal flea population in our yard, and the flea collars simply couldn't keep up. I called EcoGuard after being stood up by one pest company and rescheduled three times by another. EcoGuard was incredibly quick to come out and was extremely thorough. After just two treatments, they completely eradicated the fleas. We then had them begin treating our yard for fleas and ticks, as well as treating the exterior of our house with their pest maintenance service. This includes spraying to help keep bugs outside of my house, removing wasp nests, spiderwebs, etc. They come out on a quarterly basis. About a month ago, a mouse tried to take refuge in our house. I called EcoGuard immediately, and they came out the very next day. They didn't just set traps and leave--they actually helped me search for where the mouse could have gotten inside. We discovered that our puppy had more than likely pulled the cover off of our exterior dryer vent and chewed on the cover. I fixed that immediately, and thankfully, we haven't had any mice issues since. Then yesterday, I noticed some ants in my kitchen and gave them a call. Again, they came out the very next day. Robert treated the interior baseboards, underneath my sink, the tiny space between my granite and drywall, windows and doors, and placed a bait station on my countertop. He also treated the exterior windows, foundation, around the perimeter of our landscaping beds, the hot tub area, patio, certain areas of the siding and brick... literally anywhere he could treat, he treated! He was incredibly attentive and then took the time to help me look for ant trails so we could figure out where they were coming from. We found the source, and he treated that area as well as placing two bait stations underneath our grill deck where we believe they set up camp. The technician who has come out the last three times is Robert, and he has been absolutely wonderful. He is extremely kind, respectful, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about solving the problem--not just checking a box and leaving. I highly recommend Robert, as well as EcoGuard Pest as a company. They have yet to frustrate me or make me feel like I'm wasting my money. Their prices are very fair, they are on time, every technician I've met has been respectful and thorough, and their customer service is exactly what customer service should be. Even though I've had to call them out for two problems, I do not believe that is because they aren't doing a good job during their quarterly visits. Sometimes, that's just Mother Nature and life! When something unexpected pops up, they are here actually ASAP to help me figure it out and fix the problem--with a smile and a good attitude. That means a lot to me!
