    Eightfold Cold Brew

When arriving to this cafe parking will be street parking, but we did not have any issue finding a spot! The cafe had a very chill atmosphere with a lot of seating! The service was really great! They were very nice and patient with us while we ordered! We ordered the Eightfold cold brew, butter toast with jam, and the everything bagel with cream cheese! The toast was on a sourdough bread which was literally SO deciduous! It had the best crunch and flavor! The jam on the toast was the cherry chai jam which if I'm not mistaken they make their own! The everything bagel was also delicious, it did not skimp out on the seasonings and the bagel was toasted to perfection! We REALLY enjoyed the Eightfold cold brew, the flavor was top notch and it was creamy! We were overall very impressed by this cafe and we can't wait to go back and try some more of what they have! Check out their instagram for inspiration if you're headed there!

The Eightfold Cold Brew is so delicious ! So frothy and refreshing with subtle malty sweetness.

the eightfold cold brew is delicious. The baristas are super pro. Pro at espresso drinks, all things coffee, and working fast, but really kind, even though they are busy. Even though it says no dogs allowed outside they do have lil treats for your pup at the counter and they didnt enforce that no pet policy while i was there. The space is large and airy, with ample old world meets new world marble top tables, great for a chat or a game of chess. I love trying new coffee shops every time i come to LA, and this one is lovely. I'm coming back:)

First time here, Saturday morning and parking was so easy. Walked right in, no wait, so much beautiful natural light if you need a place to sit and work or just hang out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very clean. Didn't order food but oh man the avocado toast looked absolutely amazing! I'd go back just to try that! And my lavender latte was amazing! They also put my boyfriend's coffee in his personal cup which was awesome and saves some waste! I'd give another star just for that! lol. Highly recommend and will return.

Quick service, and they have a really good matcha! I added some vanilla syrup to mine to add just a little bit of sweetness. Very dog friendly cafe! Your pups are welcome even indoors. Plus the space looks like a good place to get some work done.

Tried their seasonal pumpkin spice latte! The lil jack-o'-lantern face was so adorable

Been wanting to visit this coffee shop for ages and I'm so glad I finally did! I got a pumpkin spice latte bc the jack-o'-lantern latte art they do was just too cute. But it was one of the best psl I've had! The blend of spices was perfect! The staff is friendly here too!

Earl grey latte- so good, I think it's seasonal but it should be added to the permanent roster. It also came with vegan cold foam on top which doesn't hold its shape as well as regular cold foam but in terms of flavor it wasn't an issue. Orange espresso tonic- pretty good, nice espresso taste and orange flavor. Turmeric latte- not my personal favorite but it tastes very healthy, it was okay but also stained my mouth yellow lol Nice coffee shop they give you nice tall glass cups when drinking in house and have compostable straws. We didn't try their baked goods but they looked good.

Was looking to grab some coffee at a spot that was open somewhat later in the afternoon, and this place came up. I'm really happy I decided to stop by! Ordered the Eightfold Cold Brew, which was their special signature drink. It was sweetened with oat milk and maple syrup, and it was simply delicious. Sweet, but not too sweet. The cold brew flavor was strong and didn't taste watered down. I placed my order online for pick up and it was ready within 5 minutes. :) The drinks were prepared and sitting at the entrance for me to pick up.

I walked in, no line. Waited for the barista to notice me while she was in conversation (a good 3min). When she noticed me she gave a loud annoyed sign. When I asked about the lattes she gave very short answers without even looking at me. After I ordered she went back to her conversation for a while till she decided to make my coffee. After she was done she put the coffee on the counter without saying a word or looking at me. I said,"thank you"; no reply. I grew up around Sunset Blvd and I loved going to new cafes and restaurants but it's rude and pretentious people like this that have tarnished the spirit of Sunset Blvd. I will never come here again.

Can't park in the parking lot, or you will get towed. Signs all over the place that you will get towed immediately.... parking across the street by a park... dirt parking or anywhere on the area. Then cross the street, walk down 1 block to reach the place... OR watch out for traffic and jaywalk. (Dont recommend this, busy intersection).... Feel like they tried to make this spot look old.. Mixture of antique looking seats and chairs... Decor seems a lil off to me... 90s hip hop music playing... When I asked for pastries, I was told they have 1 day old pastries... YES 1 day old pastry.... so they dont sell?? Or could they be 2 days old instead of 1... oh and at full price, didnt mention half off... etc... Got a lemon ricotta bread... for being 1 day old, it was moist and just OK... not big on flavor... Coffee was good... no drip, only americano or speciality drip... Service was nice... no big interaction Just order, pay and they brought my coffee to me.... Will I go back.. nope!!... parking is a hassle and 1 day old pastries, is just not for me.... If you go... I ordered the Orange Mint Latte, Matcha Sparkling Lemonade, Einspanner White, Hibiscus Mint Sparkling Lemonade, and of course, a cortado. I also tried their Wagyu Sliders. Every drink was fantastic. What I really enjoyed was how different each one was from the next. It didn't feel like I was ordering variations of the same drink -- each had its own flavor profile, presentation, and unique touch. The Orange Mint Latte was especially interesting, and both sparkling lemonades were refreshing and completely different from what I would normally order. The Einspanner White was another standout. Overall, it was a really fun variety to try at once. The cortado was also very good. It had a nice flavor, smooth texture, and was easy to drink. Their approach is a little different from a traditional cortado presentation because the espresso and milk are fully integrated together rather than finished with latte art. I actually appreciate that style when it's executed well because the focus is more on getting the espresso and milk completely incorporated into one cohesive drink. The presentation across the entire order was also really well done. You can tell there's thought behind how everything is served and put together, which adds to the overall experience. The Wagyu Sliders were great as well. I think the food side of Archives of Us deserves more attention because they have some genuinely good food options to go along with the drinks rather than the food feeling like an afterthought. The space itself is beautifully designed with plenty of seating inside as well as an outdoor seating area. I love the overall atmosphere and aesthetic -- there are certain details about the design, presentation, and experience that remind me of coffee shops I've visited in Japan. The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming. Overall, Archives of Us has a lot going for it. A beautiful space, great service, thoughtful presentation, a strong variety of drinks, solid coffee, and food worth trying as well. It's especially nice to find a coffee shop where I actually want to explore the menu beyond my usual cortado. Definitely the type of place I could see myself coming back to once a week.

The reason I emphasize sweetness level is because of how sweet the beverages are. I love sugar: sweets, desserts, and beverages. 50% is plenty here. At this level the sugar doesn't overwhelm the tea and the two blend well together having nice spiced notes, tea strength, and milky goodness. My first experience as a ChaTraMue left me sugar'd out, but at 50%, I think a good balance has been struck. They do serve their drinks with plenty of ice, so it might be diluted enough if the ice melts. All in all, the thai tea is great if youre cautious with your sweetness. I can see why people like the thai tea, the spices mixing with the high quality tea is really satisfying and refreshing.

The cream top does make it very creamy and it does mask majority of the matcha flavor. It did taste like a dessert drink. It was enjoyable though. COLD BREW VANILLA Weirdly sour and smoky flavored cold brew. Slight floral flavor too. It was such an odd combination of flavors with the vanilla cold foam. The lingering aftertaste was not good either. It's neither this nor that. Would not recommend! FINANCIERS Their financiers are made by a local bakery called Musk. It seems their financier flavors are changed often, so no same flavors are in rotation. Sausage & Parmesan - The almond cake's vanilla flavor with the sausage and salty parmesan was a unique flavor. The almond cake was nice and spongy. It did take a bit of time to get used to the savory flavors with the almond cake. It's like a breakfast in an unexpected way. Nutella - Buttery almond cake with nutella and roasted hazelnuts. Enjoyed it! I think Nutella fans would like it. Mugwort + Fig - Buttery in the beginning and it ends with a good, medium-strength flavor of mugwort. Fig was garnish on top, so you barely get it. However, I like that they added the sweetness of the figs with the earthy bitter mugwort. Overall, it was uniquely delicious and mugwort was the star. Yuza + Apricot - A tad sweeter than expected due to the outer brush of yuza aka yuzu simple syrup. Loved the chewy apricot on top. It really brought a lovely fruityness to the financier. The yuzu flavor was there alongside the butteryness of the almond cake. All the financiers were done well! Delicious! Recommend trying at least one when you're at this location. Not sure if their financiers are offered at their other locations. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was good. Not terribly friendly, but still answered my questions. Staff were all busy making the drinks. AMBIANCE + SEATS Really large space with rows of tables and chairs. It was strange walking in and seeing various tables and seats to one side and it almost looked like a cafe used as office space. Seeing all the people sitting down on their laptops or talking, as though they're having a casual business meeting there. It was just strange. The tables were mixed wooden tables and chairs. There were long benches too for people waiting for takeout orders. The large space felt so roomy, I get why the tables were all taken. PARKING Street parking is available, yet when I was there in the early afternoon on a Tuesday, it was packed! The only place to park was the paid parking lot right across from Damo. Parking was $5.00. I wouldn't recommend parking elsewhere outside of that street, as it is a sketchy area and lots of homeless encampments around the area. Would I return? Not sure. I like the large, roomy warehouse space with lots of tables to sit in, but the cafe being in a sketchy area gives me hesitation. Not in love with $5.00 parking too. One of my drinks was good, but the other was bad. The only thing I loved was the financiers.

I ordered a cold brew with a non-dairy cream top, and the "top" immediately sank to the bottom in curdling chunks. The cold brew itself wasn't bad but they really shouldn't serve that cream top. Maybe I'd return to try something else if I happened to be in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I went with their Iced Cloud Cinnamon Foam latte, and it did not disappoint. The latte is infused with maple-flavored milk and finished with cinnamon, and the combination is absolutely delightful -- ice cold and bursting with flavor from the first sip to the very last. What really sets Tilt apart, though, is the staff. They go above and beyond for every customer, and you can genuinely feel the care they pour into their craft and their service. Whether you're a coffee purist or just looking to try something new, Tilt Coffee is absolutely worth a visit. They just earned a new fan!

Seating is limited, though they do offer a few outdoor tables and a bench inside while you wait for your drinks. The service was great. The employees were friendly, welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. As for the coffee, it unfortunately wasn't my favorite. I tried the Cloud Latte and found it a bit too thick, lacking the smoothness and flavor I was hoping for. I also tried the Cinnamon Cloud, which was smoother but still tasted fairly bitter to me. Coffee preferences are subjective, of course, but the flavor profile just didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, I enjoyed everything else about the experience and would be willing to come back and try a few different drinks from the menu. The service and ambiance were definitely highlights of the visit.
