    Pistachio Matcha Latte
    Jessica P.

Wanted to try Picnic because I've seen some videos online raving about it. First, there's plenty of free parking around the area which is always a plus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very small, you order in the back of the store and pick up your drink at the front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a strawberry matcha and it was all strawberry no matcha. I think the batch of matcha they used this day was a bit older due to the color being darker and not as vibrant. The pistachio matcha was also overpowered by the pistachio flavor. Wouldn't come back but it's a very cute place.

Came to Picnic in search of a good matcha latte and with some high hopes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the location and seating option right outside the shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The barista taking my order was super nice and cool. I appreciated that he engaged and humored me in conversation. Ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk and my fav part was the lack of extra charge for non-dairy milk substitute. Cheers to the outdated idea of charging for milk sub! Wish the matcha tasted better than it did. It was a bit watered down and not matcha forward. With all the alternative matcha spots in the area, I likely won't be back but can appreciate what they're doing.

My partner lives down the street so we come here very often! Drinks: 11/10! My partner and I got the sweet corn matcha latte and the mango matcha lemonade (which were seasonal items) and they were so yummy! We both agreed (along with my best friends) that the sweet corn matcha latte was PERFECT! We even convinced one of my friends to re-order it as it was absolutely delicious. They have a couple of pastries too and we always come back to the ham and cheese + everything/cream cheese croissant. Service: 10/10! Workers here are always so friendly and knowledgeable when we visit and we appreciate it always! Hence why we always come back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: 10/10. Small coffee shop, but it's so cute inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can see why it is always so packed inside and people come/stay here to study or work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love this place and always love their seasonal menus!

came to try the vienna matcha, and it did not disappoint! the salty cold foam complements the bitter matcha to create a sweet and salty experience. the matcha isn't super strong, but i would definitely get this again if i was looking for a sweet treat. service was fast, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior has a cool mid century modern vibe to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]only a couple of tables inside, so more of a grab and go spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Picnic Coffee is such a sweet spot to get coffee, matcha, and yummy pastries. Their strawberry matcha is a favorite of mine. Service is quick and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute, modern, and minimal atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They're open from 6am to 4pm. Run, don't walk, to Picnic in Silverlake! :)

First time here and tried the Vienna corn coffee! It was really nice and not too sweet at all. But I barely got any corn flavor. But nonetheless it was still a great drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little shop with some outdoor seating and a lot of great pastry options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

(+) Vienna latte (+) Picnic vibes Picnic coffee is a coffee shop that serves some great coffee, matcha, and foam tops that everyone loves nowadays. It is a cute place because there are picnic chairs on the sidewalk to sit down on and sip on your drink. There are tables inside as well. The servers were very helpful explaining the menu to me. I would recommend their Vienna latte. It has a foam top and the perfect sweetness. I wanted to try their matcha but didn't want two drinks at once. We'll have to come back!

This place has great quality coffee and the employees were so friendly. I got my go-to but this time hot- latte with whole milk and no sweetener and it was so delicious. Especially having it on a cold rainy day. Just warms you up and makes you want to be cozy.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a CUTE little coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks are reasonably priced and their matcha is soooo smooth and delicious. I got the strawberry matcha latte and my husband tried their mango passionfruit special as well as an oat milk latte his second time. I really want to try the rose flavor matcha next time but their strawberry is just so good and smooth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Line moves pretty quick and reasonable wait and there's cute outdoor seating as well called their "picnic area."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Def worth coming to get your coffee or matcha fix!

SERVICE - located in silver lake off of sunset blvd - quirky interior with unique chairs and retro decor - some outdoor seating available - interior is small and can get crowded during busier hours - drinks made relatively quickly MENU - creative cafe drinks - plant based milk options available for no extra charge - average price DRINKS - vienna matcha with oat milk (7/10): iced matcha latte topped with sweet cream and a hint of sea salt. This is definitely a dessert-like drink, not an everyday one. The sweet cream layer is thick and feels like drinking whipped cream. When mixed with the bitter matcha it creates a pleasant blend that serves as a gentler alternative to matcha's classic grassiness. I am not a huge fan of sweet drinks so I personally would get a plain matcha next time. But if you like things on the sweeter side, I would recommend this. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! It was quirky and there were a lot of drink options.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A cute, aesthetic stop with genuinely great selection of drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for a quick coffee date or solo morning reset.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is limited and it's more of a grab-your-drink-and-enjoy-the-moment kind of place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is street only, so be ready to circle a bit. Staff are nice & welcoming. I will come back to try other drinks for sure!

    Ellen N.

Cute spot for a quick grab-and-go coffee. I tried the Vienna latte and vanilla latte--both were good, though a bit too sweet for me even after adjusting the sugar level. Since it's a busy takeaway place, the customer service felt a bit lacking. There were no greetings; they just took my order and quickly moved on to the next customer. Street parking can be a little difficult, so plan ahead.

Ordered a pistachio matcha and it was very delicious!! I love that the flavor was not overpowering and was actually subtle and yummy!! The baristas were very nice and drinks came out very quickly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe of the cafe was very modern with fun and unique art as well as interesting furniture![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm from the Bay Area but I've been to Cafe Dulce several times. My wife and I really like their Hong Kong Tea Latte and their Matcha drink, as well as their various donuts and baked goods. In the morning rush they can be a little busy but the staff work hard. On a recent visit I saw people eating their steak breakfast burritos, so I ordered one for myself and a coworker. The burritos were reasonable size, the steak was seasoned well, and the breakfast burrito had potatoes in it (I only like breakfast burritos that have potatoes/hash browns/tots in it). Keep supporting the classics, not just because they've been around for a while, but because they have strong products and service.

Mochi Twist ($5)-- Nice and dense mochi texture? I guess it's hard to describe but it's not hollow and airy like a typical donut. There's some chew to it. And it's not too sweet! Blueberry Roti ($4)-- Flaky crumble on top and blueberry jam?? YES YESSSS. I liked this so much I'd definitely go back for it. Blueberry jam is so underrated and it's rare to find it in a pastry! Makes for a good sweet lil treat. Hot latte ($5)-- Perfect!! No complaints. Not too milky, not too light. Good ratio. I was actually kind of worried ordering a latte because not every place does it right but it's good here! Iced blueberry matcha ($6?)-- I see lots of good things about this drink on here but ooooooof... it missed the mark and by a LOOOT too. It was green sweet cereal milk. Where's the matcha? Where's the blueberry? It was so confusing because I see the green and I know I ordered matcha... but it's just sweet milk! And it's not even blueberry flavored milk. Did they forget the blueberry jam? Syrup? Whatever they use? Because it just tastes like the milk after a bowl of Frosted Flakes or something like that. Very sad, very disappointing. Ended up tossing after a couple sips. ANDDD for those matcha purists this is NOOOT the place for you! They have it pre mixed in a milk gallon. So we just saw green milk coming out of a gallon into this cup like yeppppp ok expectations immediately lowered. Anyways, hot latte is good and the 2 pastries I got were good! Steer clear of the matcha!!!

It's relatively busy but the line moved swiftly. The Larchmont store was pretty lively with the crowded and colorful wall deco! It's pretty fun to see that they came up with more seasonal items lately and most of them nailed it well when they came to cookies. Previously the lemon one and the most recent was the Raspberry Pistachio which I was impressed by as I just fancied sweet and refreshing combo of white chocolate and raspberry. The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. The Cookie Milk Latte was actually the main reason bringing me here, yet I was bit let down by it as I was expecting more malty cookie flavor in the drink. I felt it tasted not much different to regular cream top latte with some cookie crumbles in it.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off.
