Stopped by here during a work break and it was such a hidden gem. The coffee is high quality and my drink was made to perfection. I also got the chocolate chip cookie which was SO GOOD! The inside was a bit hot (not sure if the air was working) but there were so many folks working on laptops and chatting too. I'll definitely be back now that I know about this place.
I wanted to save $2-$3. Cha Tra Mue was next door but their drinks were the $7-$8 range. So I decided to go to Chimney because it was around $5 range. I got the Bangkok Iced Coffee. At first sip, I was like this is sour. I think it's because it was flavor of the coffee. The more I drink it, I am like this is not great. I changed to exchange it to the Banana Milk Latte. Again, still not hitting the spot. Old bananas are great for making banana bread but not syrups. Fresher bananas taste better. I've had syrups made with fresher bananas. I had stomach issues the moment I visited Chimney. Star great service and lots of seating but the rest, ack! I just can't. Plus the parking is horrible.
Yum! Parking was plenty! I walked inside and was amazed how comfortable the atmosphere was. The service was kind and welcoming. I ordered the Bangkok Iced Coffee. It had a nice chicory flavor to it and that is what I wanted. I got it to go, but the free wifi and ample seating was very inviting. When I have more time, I'll stop in again and have some of the pastries they offered!
This place has good coffee and the service is nice and friendly. They carry Bread Lounge Pastries. There are many table and seats you can hangout. Good for groups. Food is good . Love the Larb burger and breakfast sandwiches

we chose Chimney Coffee House, and the moment we walked in, it instantly gave off that "today can finally slow down" kind of feeling. What I love most is that it's not the kind of breakfast spot that rushes you to finish and leave. It's the perfect place to sit back, enjoy your meal, and have long heartfelt conversations.
I came here with a friend to grab a late breakfast today. We ordered two breakfast burritos with the fries on the side and I ordered a Iced Earl Grey Latte on their seasonal menu while my friend ordered an Iced Banana Matcha Latte. It was nice of them to modify the burrito as it originally was supposed to have fries inside but we asked if we could get it on the side which they happily obliged. Pretty sure they forgot the salsa though as there wasn't any inside the burrito nor did they give us any on the side. There was so many things for me to carry outside (we sat outside because my friend had her dogs with her) that we didn't realize we were missing the salsa and I felt bad asking for it because I had already made 3 trips to bring everything out and I asked for ranch or ketchup (they said they had a spicy mayo so I got that) and didn't want to bug them any further. Would have been nice if there was a tray. The burrito itself definitely needed salsa because it was a bit bland without it. The saving grace, however, was that it came out hot and had lots and lots of cheese, avocado, and eggs. The drinks were such a miss. I tried my friend's banana matcha and liked it as it tasted like they added real banana instead of flavoring but my friend didn't seem to like the lack of matcha flavor. My earl grey latte was such a disappointment. I knew it wasn't going to be good when the latte looked translucent but tasting it was like water. It tasted like someone tried to make an earl grey tea, steeped the tea bag for an extremely short period of time and filled it with ice and water with a splash of milk. Overall, the staff were friendly enough and the coffee shop itself was clean. Would I come here again? Probably not.

We walked here from Chinatown so we didn't need to find parking but there is a large plaza available for you to easily park in. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was a popular spot! There is exclusively indoor seating but enough of it we were able to snag a table. The staff is very polite and kind. Iced hibiscus tea (unsweetened) 5/5, this is the traditional Jamaica that I was looking for, if you aren't used to it I imagine it could taste a little bitter but this was solid Cobb salad 3/5, okay so my issue specifically was with the blue cheese which was gathered in these gigantic chunks?? The bowl came filled to the brim with salad which, while nice, did admittedly make it challenging to mix the salad and dressing all together
I loved it! The parking lot is fenced in and was very empty before 9 am. I came here for coffee and a pastry but got pleasantly distracted by their pancake breakfast. I paid $1 extra to add blueberries and was not disappointed. The pancakes were full of plump, juicy blueberries! Someone else had raved about the pancakes and I agree - some of the best pancakes I have due to the texture and taste. They were sweet and on the thinner side and I didn't use any syrup or butter though both were provided. The avocado that I had instead of bacon was beautiful - perfectly ripe and buttery. And don't get me started about the amazing potatoes! Were they smashed? Whats that spice on them? They were delicious. If you're in the area and seeking breakfast and coffee, the place seems well worth finding it!

Once again, he found a spot that does both coffee and food really well. We grabbed our coffees, got settled, and shared a breakfast sandwich that was amazing! The eggs were perfectly made and honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The setup here is also super convenient for getting work done. The tables are placed near outlets, so it's easy to plug in, get some work done, while enjoying the cozy vibe. And the best part? Parking! Finding a spot in LA can be a nightmare, so the fact that this place has a parking lot is a total win. Great coffee, delicious food, and a chill space to work.
I highly recommend the Pancake Breakfast but we substituted the pancakes with French toast at no charge! Generous for the size of the French toast! You get a choice of protein paired with two eggs cooked to your liking, served alongside crispy fried potatoes and a side of real maple syrup. I really liked the crispy fried potatoes. The chicken sandwich was okay. Wished they added some cold slaw and pickles to it to balance out the flavors. All I tasted was fried chicken every time. Parking is available but can be tight spaces. You enter one way and supposed to exit the other way but the gate was closed so we had to awkwardly return the same way, going against the one way traffic. Luckily no cars came as we exit. Super friendly staff, restroom available, you bus yourself.

Great coffee shop tucked away in Chinatown. Stopped in with the Black and Gold Running Club after a meet up at LA State Historic Park. The shop was not too crowded when we got there, but the staff did a great job to get orders taken and filled for our group without too much of a wait. Ordered a cold brew and croissant breakfast sandwich and both were excellent. Would definitely stop by again when in the area. read more

I ordered an iced mocha and a stack of pancakes. The mocha was really good! Honestly loved how good it tasted for the price. The pancakes were good. I'd love to try their French toast next time I go there. The location is great with lots of indoor seating with an AC blasting for hot days. They also have parking! This coffee shop had plenty of parking! The cafe was really big and had a lot of seating! It was spread out enough so if you were there to do some work you didn't feel so crammed in! The service was great! The staff was friendly and answered our questions and gave us recommendations! You could also order online and pick up at the store if that's something you needed to do for time! We ordered a hot hazelnut latte, Taylor's iced caramel latte, a chocolate chip cookie, and the B.A.E sandwich. First, let's talk about that B.A.E sandwich! The croissant was so fresh and delicious! The sandwich had bacon, avocado, and egg. This was by far one of the best breakfast sandwiches we have had! The iced caramel latte was so yummy! You could tell because I forgot to take a picture and finished half of it before I remembered lol! It was so creamy and the caramel was perfect in it! The hot hazelnut latte was very flavorful! The chocolate chip cookie was perfect! It had a gooey and crunchy texture which we loved! Pricing was average! We would definitely recommend this coffee shop! We can't wait to go back! 4+ great coffee shop that also serve some food that's located in the north east area downtown. I've been to this place a few times and even bought some coffee beans here during the pandemic. The place is pretty sizable, there are a bunch of chairs to hang out at, and the service has always been friendly. My most recent trip I just wanted a little pick me up in the middle of the day and I was in the area. It was hot outside so I ordered one of their summer drinks - 'Summer Espressoda Tropical' - espresso, honey, vanilla, & orange tepache. Plenty of caffeine and it was refreshing. There's some parking in the lot and parking along the street nearby. read more

Came here for a work breakfast and wasn't really sure what to expect the place was tucked in to a little and industrial building with one way parking. Great ambience very industrial with records. The start was friendly we were the only people there. I can't say I remember the taste of the coffee but the food was awesome! The BAE sandwich the best breakfast sandwich ever! All I can say is tamarind candied bacon. Overall good breakfast spot! read more
Super cute coffee shop downtown/Chinatown! There seems to be some parking with a guard(?) but we'd walked there after having dim sum so I'm not so sure. The location is definitely a little strange in the plaza but inside is nice. The store has decent seating on wood tables and there were some people with laptops working when we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, as well as a number of people picking up coffees to go. Special menu items Bangkok Iced Coffee (sweetened cold brew?) and Kyoto Iced Coffee (slow drip?) caught my eye, as well as the funny "The LA water" matcha/milk/coconut water offering. Unfortunately while customer service was kind they didn't do quite such a good job explaining the different iced coffees to me hence the lack of clarity on what they are. Regardless, my friend and I tried a Kyoto Iced Coffee and Lemonade (why not on a hot day?) and both were satisfactory. The Kyoto was very smooth, especially leaving a good finish. The lemonade was not super unique but it was a sweet and tangy pulp-less choice. Both drinks were around $5 each (see menu picture) which I feel is fairly standard. First time here, hidden gem. Tons of free parking in the lot and some street parking available. Friendly helpful service. Large menu, great options. Food available as well. We stumbled into this cafe after we had been waiting to be seated at a near by place. This service was quick, friendly and the food was amazing! I loved the wooden tables and chairs. We ordered to drink: orange juice, drip coffee and we here curious enough to try the swamp water :) To eat we had: Kimchi Toast, Pancakes Breakfast, Breakfast burrito and a cob salad. Yummy! CHIMNEY COFFEE HOUSE is found in the same center as LAX-C, no connection to the airport. It's a wholesaler for Thai restaurants. I was not in the mood for more meat at this time and was happy to see that they had ROMA TOMATO TOAST. The bread was escellent, the tomatoes were sufficiently bakes/roasted and the cheese was generous and yummy. The AVOCADO TOAST was also delicious even though my kid murdered it by requesting that most of the stuff be removed (cucumbers, etc) The FRENCH TOAST was yummy. The PANCAKE STACK is large and fluffy and delicious. The BANGKOK COFFEE is awesome. I would totally order this again. The LATTE is ok. The THAI TEA and Lemonade is good. The Crispy chicken sandwich is great. It was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and well seasoned. The fries that came with it is cooked well. The chocolate chip cookie is large and delicious. They have their own parking lot and it's free. There is only one way in and out of the center, FYI. I've been consistently coming to Chimney Coffee House since I'm so close by. I decided to walk here to get my steps in. Other days I'll drive because they have a big parking lot. But each time I have came to visit they have greeted me with such kindness. They always get my order right and they make my coffee with so much love. I've sat down and enjoyed the scene I've also taken my orders to go. But overall the vibe here is very pleasant. I will continue coming here because the people are so positive! Fave avocado toast!!! The candy BAE is pure sin. Order two cause you're bound to want more. Cool ambience. Cool music. Servers are meh, but the food is worth the uninviting faces that appear bothered to have to give you an extra napkin. read more

I just want to start by saying THANK YOUUU to the chef who makes the pancake batter and pancakes! It is hands down the best pancakes I've ever had. My best friend and I are OBSESSED! The texture is unlike any other pancake I've had. It's perfectly moist and even tastes good when it's already getting cold! I love you sooo much for sharing your creation with us! *chef's kiss and thank you Storm for your hospitality p.s. They don't be fooled by the basic photo, once you're eating it you'll be thanking me! aaannddd the potatoes are also excellent! They are perfectly seasoned, crispy, and soft in the center! read more

Hello, how many outlets on the outside seating area?
Zero I would think for the sidewalk tables as until the pandemic hit there wasn't seating there. It's possible that there could be some that are available for the tables closer to the front window.
Is the wifi password protected? Are there enough seating and outlets for you to plug in and work?
Yes! we do have enough seating & outlets! You'll find this is a great place to work & study. Our wifi password is protected, any of the baristas working will happily give you the password when you arrive!
