I'm going to be honest, the Thank You Mocha wasn't for me. The flavor reminded me a bit of Parmesan cheese, which made it difficult to enjoy, although I'm sure that's not the intended taste. It just didn't match my preferences. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the hojicha latte. It was a little on the sweeter side, but I think ordering it half sweet would make it just about perfect. The roasted hojicha flavor came through nicely and made for a much more enjoyable drink. The shop itself is really cute. It has a unique half retail, half coffee shop concept that gives it a lot of character. I also like the convenient location on a major street. While I wasn't impressed by every drink I tried, the atmosphere and concept make it worth a visit. The drinks could be a little stronger in execution, but I might just be picky when it comes to coffee. I have not yet tried the other drinks yet so I'm excited to try something else next time. (I personally do not recommend the thank you latte, but it might just be my unique taste buds since lots of others enjoy it!)
Went to this cute little coffee/stationary shop before my rave! They had a specialty drink for the festival so you know I had to get it! So pretty I loved how friendly the staff was! One of the staff even offered me tickets to the festival! Legit one of the best coffees I've had in La! Definitely will be back with all my friends! Much love!
The coffee shop is located right next to a stationary store. It's a little deceiving because there is a little archway that says "Thank you Coffee" but that is not the actual coffee shop. We ordered a boring latte and a cold brew. The boring latte was just okay in my opinion and unfortunately the cold brew fell a little flat. There are a couple tables to sit outside if you want to enjoy your coffee.
REAL TALK: I was so excited to check out Thank You Coffee because their cute little logos and characters are just AMAZING - totally obsessed! I stopped by while in the area - the store itself is just so so so cute, as it shares a communal space where it sells items from Paper Plant Co. I tried one of their popular ones, the 'you're welcome latte', which was prepared with lapsang souchong and chicory pecan bitters; unfortunately, this was just not good. It was extremely weak and watered down, and there wasn't much of a flavor. They have another location out in Anaheim, in which their menu offers a food menu. Not sure if it was an one-off day or if I should have ordered something else, but no dice. +weak, watered down lattes +cute space

Thank You Coffee in Chinatown Los Angeles is a great little spot. It's located in a small, cute shopping plaza with street parking. The inside is fairly small, but what really caught my attention was the line outside the door, which is always a good sign. Even with the line, the service was quick and efficient. We waited no longer than five minutes, and our drinks came out fast. I ordered the hojicha latte and it was amazing. It was so good it was gone in minutes. The flavor was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Great coffee, fast service, and a cozy neighborhood vibe. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in Chinatown.

It is very little spot but don't let its size underestimate you - in addition to its interesting specialty drinks, this store is filled with so many amazing little surprises including houseware goods, cute calendars, and other fun knickknacks for yourself or the other interesting people in your life. I had no idea how the different ingredients would work together with coffee, but it did! It gave a nice nuttiness and depth of flavor, sort of like anise. The latte was on the lighter/milkier side.

It's a small shop on Hill Street close to the 110, with an exterior that hints closely at the bright colors scattered through its interior. You can get your stationery, knickknacks, and caffeine fix all in one go. I thought I would like it more than I actually did? It tasted like a normal pumpkin spice latte but was grainy from the spice; I wish it had more of the characteristic kabocha taste. Jasmine buckwheat latte was very floral and I think Molly Tea fans would like it a lot? It's very unique and I would return to get it. Overall couldn't really taste the coffee especially because it was a little too sweet for me, but the flavor combinations are very unique and this is the kind of Asian influence I live for. The interior is very cute though and I think they are expanding to a bigger space next door.
The place was packed when we arrived, and it's easy to see why. The drinks were unique and very tasty. I tried the espresso tonic, which was really interesting. It was a bit weird at first, but it grew on me. It's definitely worth trying, especially if the line is short.
This is such a nice shop located in the heart of Chinatown. It's small with no inside seating, a stationary supply counter and a very relaxing vibe. We both had Cortados, They were delicious. This is definitely a top coffee shop. I've been to their OC location and the great coffee & service are consistently great! The baristas are very friendly and make their delicious drinks quickly. The tiny shop and storefront are kept clean. There is seating outside in front and in the small building alcove. There is meter parking on the surrounding streets and paid parking lots all around.
Thank You Coffee in Chinatown, Los Angeles has my heart. This cute home goods shop and cafe offer yummy drinks and adorable kitchen goods like tea towels, claw clips, matcha whisks, chopstick rests, and so much more! The staff is always so patient and friendly. The iced teas are SO REFRESHING on a hot day, they revive me. The You're Welcome Latte is such a delicious iced coffee that you cannot miss! It's so complex and perfectly spiced! I'm in love. Sending all my love from Chinatown
I've been here a few times since I've moved to LA. Since the spooky season and autumn is upon us, I tried the Kabocha Spice Latte. It tasted pretty good! I'll definitely be back to try to catch their mango matcha latte.
Thank You Coffee is a cute tiny to-go-coffee shop in the heart of Chinatown LA. They serve cold and hot coffee/tea drinks as well as some specialty drink. They sell merch and stationary stuff. TYC's has a max occupancy of five people. Otherwise, customers have to form a line outside the door. I ordered an Iced Cold Brew x wm. It was smooth and refreshing especially on a warm day. Perfecto!! :D Prices were highly competitive and affordable. Plenty of street metered parking. Staff were nice. Overall, it's a good to-go-coffee shop. And I had a good experience.

I tried the hojicha latte and strawberry matcha latte they were both great! also tried the mango sticky rice matcha, that one wasn't too good. it tasted like fish/canned tuna water. they were nice and i was able to exchange it for the strawberry matcha. i would definitely go again read more

Home finds & trinkets + drinks!? I'm there! I found this to be a very charming spot. Service was excellent and efficient given that the space is not the biggest but it gets the job done. Enjoyed a little oolong cold brew tea lightly sweetened & a hojicha latte. Tea was refreshing, a definite need for what I was looking for. The drinks here are really good! The service is nice. And the ambiance is also fun and cutesy. It's a very small store (5 people max) and they do enforce it (I was scolded but deserved it I didn't count I was sleepy oops). In an effort to fix my life (wake up earlier) my sibling and I walked here in the morning so idk about the parking. It also had a pretty long line on a Saturday so maybe it's better to go on a random weekday. We got a spiced praline coffee that tasted a lot like star anise and a dodgers blue drink. It was basically blue milk, but as someone who loves blue and milk and especially blue milk it was very cool. I'd probably recommend getting it with espresso or matcha if you don't want just fancy blue milk. read more
Super cute cafe located in a lowkey area! I love that there's a cute stationary store located next to a stationary store so there's lots to see here. The workers here were really nice and I appreciate that the regulate the amount of people that goes inside the shop since it is a small cafe. I love the artwork for their drinks and their dodger blue matcha was also good! read more

The cutest little coffee shop/gift store. I want to buy all the things! But I was good and just left with an oatmilk latte. It was hot and cozy and smooth. One of the better lattes I've had. Space is very small but curated with a great selection of goods. Employees working are always very friendly and attentive. read more

I am a definite matcha lover so any chance I get I love trying new places. We were in the area picking up food and since we had sometime to kill I decided to look up a coffee spot near by and we got Thank you Coffee. Let's start by saying that the name is very clever and it caught my eye. It's a cute little walk past Chinatown, which is kinda cool because you can def walk through if you have time afterwards. It's a small shop with cute outdoor seating. Def not what I expected but loved it. When you walk in they have a bunch of little things that you could buy, the have cute artistic items and so on. The staff is really nice. Now for the real reason .... Matcha was 9/10. Quality matcha but I wish their menu had a little of more options in terms on matchas. I get there pretty small. I would def grab it again if I was in the area. Parking is okay... you have to find parking on the street and it's a very trafficked street as the fwy exit is right there. read more
The Hojicha latte and jasmine buckwheat latte were both really good! I would definitely recommend those two drinks, which I'm glad I got to try from my friends because otherwise I wouldn't have enjoyed this place as much as I did since the Dodger Blue milk with matcha that I ordered was very underwhelming and not good. The lattes I tried both had a strong flavor profile of Hojicha and Jasmine which i loved. I was very disappointed in the dodger blue milk w matcha because there was hardly any matcha or pandan taste at all and tasted more like straight up oatmilk which I got my drink with. Other than that, the drinks my friends got were great and shop is cute, though small. read more
Still in love with Thank You Coffee. Wanted to update my review with the newest drink on their menu. The Dodger Milk. I popped in to order my regulars and noticed a bright blue drink walking by. Saw the sign and description for it at the counter and ordered it immediately. The friendly attendant stated I can add espresso or matcha for the caffeine but highly suggested I go with the matcha. What a winning choice. I loved the creamy sweetness of the Dodger Milk paired with the richness of the matcha. I'll be back for that again soon. read more
Thank You Coffee is a small take-out only coffee shop located in Chinatown and they offer Asian inspired lattes that you won't be able to find in your typical third-wave coffee shops in West LA. This is the flagship location with a second location in Anaheim. [Parking]: Street parking only and I had to park 2 blocks away from the shop (Yale St & W College St). Free metered and street parking on Sunday. [Atmosphere]: The shop share the space with Paper Plant Co. so customers can shop for stationary while they are waiting for their drinks. There's a sign stating the indoor space is limit to 5 customers. [Menu]: Per Yelp highlights, the top drinks are You're Welcome Latte (lapsang souchong + chicory pecan bitters), Iced Matcha Latte, and Five Spice Latte (with house spice blend + sichuan peppercorn + MSG). Pandan Blue Milk is only available at the Anaheim location. *** You're Welcome Latte (lapsang souchong + chicory pecan bitters - iced, $6): I could taste the unique aroma and the drink was actually quite good! Tiny little place tucked in Chinatown with small trinkets and toys. I ordered the You're Welcome latte, iced which I saw from reviews was a smoky tasting latte with pecan bitters. Latte was overall very bland, I didn't taste much coffee flavor, some slight smokiness, but mostly tasted like sweetened milk. They had a seasonal menu as well, which I did not see until after I ordered. Next time, I might go for one of those. It's a charming and cute little store, but their coffee did not leave a strong impression on me. read more
I've driven past this place many times so finally decided to try it out. It's a cozy little coffee shop located in Chinatown. All the staff are very friendly and the store sells fun little stationary items. I ordered the matcha pandan and I'd give it a 6.5/10. Wasn't the biggest fan of the matcha quality. But I enjoyed the pandan flavor a lot. Worth checking out if you need a coffee/matcha fix in the area. read more

For some reason I recently got exposed more with cafes around Chinatown. One of trickiest spots in town for parking and traffic typically wasn't a friend. This super cute coffee shop was right next to an amazingly hooking stationary shop as well as a dainty cake shop, giving me the feeling like hitting 3 at once; BIG WIN! As the place was kinda tiny, the line could easily overflow to the storefront as they only allowed few people to be inside at same time. It moved very quickly though as the baristas were super frisky. It's smart that they're capturing the nearby iconic Dodger Stadium into their special menu. Yep, literally blue-colored as it featured butterfly pea flower mixed with honey and house-made syrup. It's said to contain Pandan leaves though I couldn't really smell the fragrance. You could add espresso or matcha shot to the blue milk, for which I opted for the prior. It's pretty enjoyable if you fancied fun sweet iced coffee. Will I come back? Prolly yes when I'm around the area, but maybe not making it all the way from the west. read more
Very small, cozy coffee shop that also sells cute stationary items! They only allow 5 people inside at a time, and there is very limited seating outside as well (only 2 tables). It's definitely more of a to-go coffee spot. I always order their matcha latte with regular milk and sweetened ($6 which isn't bad at all in this economy). I love how it's not overly sweet, and they prep the drinks extremely fast (1-2 minutes). The workers are very friendly, but they do tend to have side conversations with each other pretty frequently and don't stop even when new customers arrive in the store. Nonetheless, this doesn't bother me to a great extent, and I would still return for a solid matcha latte. read more

Place is quite small, allowing five people in the store at one time. There are many cute stationary items which I found fun to look at while waiting for the drinks. The Hojicha latte had a bitter tea taste towards the end of each sip. It was still good, but not the best Hojicha I've ever had. Service was great! read more
A cute little shop in Chinatown. It's very very small and they only allow a couple people in at a time. That said, once you're in, you'll be surrounded by cute stationary and souvenirs! I got the Jasmine buckwheat latte and it had such an oomph flavor to it. Sweet, a bit of a deep mess from the buckwheat, and not too overwhelmingly sweet. I'd get this again. Last time I got the "you're welcome latte" and i didn't like it much; it was too "savory" for me. read more
There is a line to order on a Sunday around lunch time (late morning for most people). The line goes out the door. LOL Sorry, that was a good joke if you've been here and have seen the place. It is a very small space shared with a stationery store and only 4 customers are allowed inside at a time due to the limited space. During this visit, there were two people working and they made sure that line moved fast. Hot LATTE with regular milk has a strong coffee flavor -- not milky! read more

Cute small coffee shop in Chinatown with lots of unique Asian inspired flavors. I got a hot hojicha latte and it was one of the best I've tried! It was simple, slightly sweet, and the tea flavor stood out. I wish the cup was bigger because I finished it so quickly. Would definitely come back to try more or the menu! Branding is very cute too. Service was extremely quick. It's a small space so only 5 people at a time and no seating inside. read more

I love coming for the vibes, drinks, and food. The staff is always so helpful and really good at helping me decide what to get. The seats could get kinda uncomfortable so it might be a little hard to do work for a longer period of time. It is a good place to catch up with a friend or people watch. I tried a seasonal drink, buttery pecan matcha latte, on the left. The flavors of the matcha had a nice sweetness that wasn't too overpowering on the creamy matcha taste! My friend had a hot jasmine buckwheat latte on the right. It was a cozy light drink. We shared a black sesame cookie and it was more of a chewy cookie if you prefer that! I feel like I usually don't taste the nuttiness of the black sesame in baked desserts but the flavor was perfectly potent. (I was too excited to eat and drink this order so these pictures are a little scuffed haha) read more
