Disappointing. The ownership sets the tone and they seem to be too rigid and locked into what they think is best. Food was left to dry out on my order when they made a mistake on my wife's order. No offer to correct reimburse , fix or anything. Disappointing management. Servers always do a good job. Food is overrated. They even took their sausage off the spaghetti option and the gluten free pasta is only available for people with celiac disease so don't ask if this is your preference of choice or food allergy. read more

This place started out ok. expensive for what you get. Very expensive. The last four times I've been there complete disappointment. The service has never been really friendly and it's greasy. It's like they mop the floors with the same bucket they "clean" kitchen with. The Italian beef is so over cooked it's like chewing on a popsicle stick. It's drier than the chicken you get at old glory. They changed the pizza puff. They used to serve what you remembered. Now it's about as big as an oversized Totinos pizza roll. Did I mention how expensive this place is? You don't even pay those prices in Chicago. Bottom line you and your money deserve better. I don't know what changed here but if I could give it zero stars I would. read more

Even at 1PM the parking lot was so full that it was hard to find a place to park, which is usually a good sign. Once inside the restaurant I came to the conclusion that the cars must be in the parking lot for one of the other businesses, since only 3 tables had patrons at them. The menu had a wide variety of items on it and I was hopeful that each of us would get something we would like. I got the philly cheesesteak with fries and a drink. It came with beef, onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheese, and I really thought it was pretty good. Only real complaint is that the bread was too chewy and difficult to bite thru. Crinkle cut fries were fried well, just needed some more salt added once at the table. One of the kids got the wings dinner, which is 8 wings and a side of fries. She said that they tasted pretty good, and I think that they looked pretty decent. Good sized wings with plenty of meat on them. I also appreciated that they came with plenty of sauce on them, unlike some of the big name wing restaurants. Other kid got the spaghetti dinner, which came with a side salad and bread. Salad portion was decent sized and included onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes (which she proceeded to immediately remove). Bread appeared to be a french bread that had been flattened considerably, but was told that it tasted good. The spaghetti noodles were WAY too overcooked, to the point that they were mushy and weren't appetizing. Very few of them were eaten. Wife got the cheese ravioli and did not like them. The ravioli wasnt cooked properly and she didnt like the sauce either. She wound up throwing away almost half of it. She got bread with her meal too, and didnt eat any of it. Toilets in the bathrooms were fairly clean for a restaurant, but the floors were slippery (like greasy). Women's bathroom required the door to be "broken down" to get out. So after you wash your hands you then have to beat on the door and get them dirty again. Men's restroom door didnt require the same amount of brute force to open. In keeping with the restaurant name there is a bunch of Chicago sports teams insignia around the restaurant. Not sure if the owner is from Chicago, or even cares about the teams, but interesting decor at least. Food wasnt good. Restrooms need attention. Overall not a good experience. read more

Omg......meatball sandwich is my fav. I went there twice last week and will go back again soon. The fry sauce is excellent and the chili is good too. My husband had chili cheese fries and said they were incredible. If you are in the area, don't skip this restaurant. read more

I'm new to the area and I was looking for quick bite in the middle of moving I came here rather than a drive thru. The food came out fast the staff was supper friendly and food is excellent. I been here a total of three times, three different meals and all were excellent!! Looking for a quick bite this definitely an excellent choice. The place looks clean and well maintain the decor is cool with all of Chicago's sports teams. This will probably be my go to when ever I'm not in the mood for cooking or not really knowing what eat. read more

Wow, I was so excited to try the Italian beef and sausage sandwich with sweet peppers. Unfortunately, the cashier wasn't very friendly. I went ahead and placed my order, paying with a credit card. Please note that I was charged extra for using my card. I must've missed the sign that state a fee would be charged... We got our food to go. When I got home, I was sad to see that spicy peppers and not sweet peppers were all over my sandwich. The fry sauce has a thousand island flair. The mushrooms were fried and a little oily. I will probably swing by here at some point to give them another try, as I love Italian sausage with sweet peppers and onions...so fingers crossed for the next time. read more

Been here a few times and every-time my experience is better. The staff is very friendly and polite. Always eager to make your experience delightful. The food is just as good. Menu on Yelp is old. Prices are significantly higher I've had the desire for a Reuben Sandwich and heard this was where to go. It wasn't bad but honestly not their specialty. Got it to go so the fact it was soggy is probably the reason. Fries were OK I'll go back and try the Italian beef which gets great reviews read more

Thank you, thank you. As a recent Chicago-area migrant to the Spring Hill area, I just have to say "Thank you" to whoever thought this place would be a good idea here just a mile or so from my house. I couldn't agree more. Chicago-style hot dogs are perfect - just as they should be. From toasted poppyseed buns to the sport peppers. Perfect. The Gyros platter is also perfect. Tzatziki sauce is great, pita is delicious and meat is hot, right off the spinning skewer gizmo. My only gripe is the Italian Beef. The bun is good (it's not Gonella, but then, what is?), and the giardiniera is nice and spicy. But the beef was a bit chewy. I think that's easy enough to fix - let it cook for a couple more days in that delicious au jus... All in all, a great place, with a great menu that includes other favorites from other cities, including cheese steaks, etc. read more

Absolutely delicious. I usually get the chicken kabobs with rice and pita and they're fab. Also the spinach pie is to die for. Always fast and friendly service. Inside doesn't have the greatest ambiance but for a quick bite or takeout, it's one of my go-tos in Spring Hill. read more

I was so excited to find this place since I love Italian Beef sandwiches. I ordered the Italian beef and sausage sandwich with hot giardiniera and medium juice, and an order of chili cheese fries. The sandwich was very good, although I wish I got it extra juicy as there wasn't much juice with the medium. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the sausage had a good snap and texture. The fries were very good, even adding their special fry sauce to it was really good. I will be back to try other items. read more

I am 100% convinced all these reviews are family and friends, or people who don't know what Chicago food really is and haven't fully gotten their taste back after COVID. This was some of the most disgusting food we've ever had. First off, the place was nasty and really needed a good cleaning. Don't look behind the counter because the amount of grease, dirt, grime and food thrown all around is disturbing. Secondly, the worker taking the order was rude as hell and clearly had no interest in working. The food... I can't even. The only way to properly describe it is to say it tasted like everything was fried in the dirtiest oil possible. The cheese on the fries was a dark orange and it didn't taste like cheese, a little scared to know what it was. Fries were stale yet super greasy, it was weird. Beef was rubbery, hot dog was barely even heated, fry sauce was so oddly sweet... even the water from the pop machine was dirty tasting. Don't go here until you want to waste $$ and feel awful afterwards. This is coming from a true Chicagoan too. read more

It's a very non-descriptive building. You walk into it and is one open floor plan. Nothing in there makes you feel like you're at an upscale five star restaurant with these prices. We've been too many five star restaurants Jeff Ruby, Smith, & Wollensky, etc. this place is more like a Cracker Barrel. One of the biggest pet peeves we had was during our entire service. There was only six people at our table. The waitress continually would stand at the end of the table (next to me ) and she would interrupt our meal and Ask Are we done with this plate or this fork or this bowl. So we had to stop and hand her any unused bowls or plates or silverware, even if we were using them still. The weird part was that she would never walk around the table and grab them from each person. She made us all gather them up and send them down to the end of table where I was sitting, and I had a stack of plates or bowls, etc., and hand them up to her. this happened numerous times throughout the meal I've never experienced this we felt so rushed and then once we got the bill, I was disgusted. So moral to the story is avoid Circa unless you want to get a overpriced mediocre meal this place is for you To be honest, you would get a better burger and mac & cheese at Cracker Barrel.

Today I went to The Spot around 7 PM to pick up a takeout order. There aren't many restaurants…read morededicated to hot dogs, so it was nice to go somewhere that did have higher-quality hot dogs. I ordered online for my husband and me, and ran into some issues with the site, which wasn't allowing us to make it a combo, so we decided to skip the fries and just order a drink separately. We both got the Spot Dog, which has a bacon-wrapped beef hotdog topped with tomato, onion, jalapeños, mustard, ketchup, and spicy mayo. The bun was toasted and held everything together well with no mess. The hot dog itself was good, and the bacon was a nice touch, but honestly, everything combined was a bit overwhelming. I couldn't really tell what I was tasting, and it tasted more like just a regular hotdog despite everything on it. The staff at the register was friendly and had our order ready on arrival. The environment was very clean with plenty of seating and felt family-friendly. I do find $5.75 for a hot dog to be a good price, especially with the bacon-wrapping and packaging quality. I would go back to try another hot dog to compare.
