No where close to as good as the one in Severna Park. For some reason it always seems out of the way. Maybe it's dealing with west street, or that it's located in a spot id never normally go to, or that it's missing the drive through, but it's never just a quick trip to run in and grab a bagel. Service is slow and the people at taking your order don't speak enough English to understand simple things like extra capers on the nova lox bagel, or extra sprouts or cream cheese on others. Consequently my orders are almost always wrong and it takes them twice as long to fix the order as it did to make the first one. Honestly I love the food, but I'm in Edgewagter and still wind up at the one in Severna park way more often than the one right in Annapolis. SP has friendlier staff and a cleaner, more relaxed environment, plus the drive through lol. Annapolis is just so loud that I never want to stay and eat. read more

Like many upper tier chain establishments, the difference between 2 stars and 4 stars is service. Einstein Bros always has good good and coffee. There's always the local niche place in every town that does things a little better. This particular EB gets the two stars for service. One person working, two people talking was standard. Wow, this place is horrible. I went to get a bagel for my son. He was sick last week, and he really wanted to have a Sante Fe bagel this morning. I was waited on by the rudest person that I have ever met in my life. She was impatient and nasty. She wouldn't give me a second to respond, and she started yelling at me what's my name. Finally, I just looked at her and I said," I'm not deaf, and I could hear the first time." She flew off the handle, and she started complaining about her job and how they are understaffed. I mean she completely went off. She acted nuts! I told her that I was leaving, and she told me that I should. Then I told her that I have two jobs, and I left the store. Stop whining if you don't like your job, then quit. Why punish the customers because you have a crappy job! Go back to school and get a better one! Needless to say, our family is never going back there, and I have contacted the company about this experience as well. read more

Nova Lox sandwich on "Everything" is always fresh; Get the combo w/ pickle and chips or fruit. Overall decent sandwiches, smoothies & lattes. No complaints & free wi-fi. Also, I have accidentally left my bag here ( with my 'life' in it) and hours after I made the discovery, then realized where and when I made the error, they had it stored in back, fully intact waiting for me to call or show up and I was relieved. That deserves honorable mention. read more

French toast bagel is one of my personal favorites. Great environment if you're on the work in the morning or if you're in need of a place to catch up on paperwork (free Wi-if). Staff is friendly and recommend trying something new every visit, since there's so much to choose from! Would recommend during the morning rush where fast food is out of the question. The bagels are delicious!! The reason I gave only one star is because the service was so awful. The assistant manager was just looking at me while I waited with my kids for more then 3 minutes for someone to help us (there were no more customers waiting and the place was not busy). She was also rude and disrespectful when I ordered. I bought the bagels and went to STARBUCKS for my coffee. Definitely I'm not going back there. read more

The good: food and coffee is tasty. The bad: Cleanliness - All the tables were dirty. No employees cleaned a single table for the 30 minutes I was in there. Service - Horrible. I wasn't given a cup for the coffee I ordered, so I helped myself to the stack behind the register (there wasn't anyone at the register to help me.) It was not a busy day, and there were at most 5 other customers, but it took 20 minutes to receive the sandwich I ordered. After waiting 15 minutes, I was told they didn't have the bagel I asked for, so that means it took 15 minutes to even begin making my order. My girlfriend's order of 1 toasted bagel took 15 minutes, and was cold. I saw it sit for 5 minutes after it was toasted. When I complained about the speed of my order, the employee stared at me and then shrugged. Another customer received the wrong order while we were in there as well. I stop here occasionally to grab a bagel. While visiting recently I noticed the lack of cleanliness of this restaurant. Total disarray on the counters. Sticky stuff on the countertop. Signs thrown about. Dirt, white jug/bottle caps, debris under every single prep table behind the counter. The syrup dispenser has drips from the most recent 1000 cappuccinos where syrup was added. Some of the employees there are hardworking. One in particular stands around a lot and doesn't think he is part of the team. He could move his ass a bit and chip in rather than standing at the counter looking back at them working. He is in desperate need of a new Einstein staff shirt. His current work shirt has bleach splattered all over the front from an apparent work place accident. Not sure where the bleach is used as the place is DIRTY. Owners I ask you to gift him a new shirt, no give him 7 new shirts. One for every day he works and two extras just incase he is out and about promoting your business. I'm going to stop eating here for the next several weeks and pop in sometime in July just to see if anything has changed. I'm not sure it will be a big change. There is a lot of training, coaching, and CLEANING to do. Every inch of that place needs a scrub. read more

I went into the Annapolis store to get my Shmear Society 6 bagel special today. I presented the cashier with a previous receipt with the appropriate PLU and validation code from a survey I took last weekend. When I attempted to use the "$1 off any purchase" as stated on the receipt, I was told it couldn't be used. I pointed out to the cashier that there are no restrictions printed on the receipt offer. The manager came over and said, in effect, that's what the computer says. I said I don't care what the computer says, there's no restriction on the receipt for this offer. While I was saying this, the manager turned her back to me and walked away, so I paid for my bagels and left. I have now sworn that I will NEVER/NEVER go back to this store or any other Einstein Bros Bagels establishment because of this absolute rude treatment by this manager. She needs to be taught some customer relations or else you're going to also lose a lot more customers. I intend to let my friends know about this treatment as well. This is INEXCUSABLE. read more

I got an everything bagel with salmon cream cheese, red onion and lettuce. There was hardly any cream cheese at all and the lettuce was brown! The fact that the person making this bagel thought it was ok to put a rotting piece of lettuce on a sandwich blows my mind. I've gone to their severna park location and never had an experience like this. Unfortunately for me I now live in Annapolis and will never go back! read more

I've been here several times since it's the closest one to my house. Not once have I ever had a good experience. There is one employee in particular, male with tan skin and dark hair, who is so incredibly rude every time I go there. He has never gotten my order right, always forgets my coffee, and has a bad attitude. Last time I was there two weeks ago, I had to remind him and two other staff members that I had ordered a coffee FOUR TIMES and the sad part is that there were only two other customers there who were already eating before I walked in... I keep going back, thinking that my experience will be different, and each time is worse then the last time. It's really a shame too because I love Einstein Bagels. read more

Stopped by two times this week. First day just wanted coffee. I went in around 8:00 am on a Monday, not too busy but no one at the ordering station. There was a person working on orders behind the counter, but he ignored my presence. No one acknowledged that I was there to the point that it became awkward. Eventually some one came from the back area to take my order, they were friendly enough and it was a quick transaction. I stopped back in the following Friday again at 8:00 am. Not too busy. Again no one acknowledged that I was standing at the ordering station and again whomever was working the register came out from the back area. I sure didn't feel welcomed, but more like I was bothering them. The bagel I ordered was good and the coffee, which is my favorite menu item, was good. However, the coffee station was not clean. There were creamer spills, left over stirring sticks and used napkins on the counter. Poor management of this location will be their down fall. read more

We waited a while after it opened and usually go to bagels and for our bagels. So we gave it a shot. Wow what a huge disappointment. The place was a mess,our table was dirty and I had to wipe it down. The floor had food and trash on it. The people behind the counter were not friendly or courteous and not helpful at all. They made a simple bagel order extremely difficult and the woman taking our order got my wife's and my order wrong. My wife's sandwich was supposed to have bacon but did not. She went to the counter but was ignored by the staff. When she got someone's attention they claimed they didn't know it came with bacon despite being clearly obvious on their menu. Her bagel was ok but the meat was sparse for a $7.99 charge. I ordered my bagel with cream cheese on the side with Lox. Like I said the smear was all over my bagel and the Lox had no taste. The chicken noodle soup tasted like hot water with vegetables. EB bagels at this location is zero stars and should be avoided at all costs. read more
