I'm a member of Caribou's loyalty club, and had a free birthday drink coupon to redeem. Since I happened to be in the Lone Tree/Highlands Ranch area, I decided to come here. This was my first time at a Caribou/Einstein hybrid, though I have seen others around the Denver metro area. The inside was very clean and has the look of being recently opened. I will say that service was a bit slow, especially since there were only two of us in line. However, the employees were nice and I liked that they serve the full menus from both Caribou and Einstein. It's a neat idea, and if I happen to be in the area again I'd likely come back. read more

Two separate experiences, to give them credit and verify this was not a one-time occurrence. I waited almost 18 minutes, at the drive-through window, for one sandwich that was not customized. I could see the employees inside were frequently checking their phones, not presenting productive, and standing around talking to one another. This company's standard practice was verified a second and separate time two weeks later. The food tasted OK. The drive-through lines here are ridiculously long. And I don't mean they're long as in there are so many cars, I mean long as in it takes them forever to process an order. Probably the worst service ever. Waited 30mn in the drive thru to not get what I wanted, I asked the guy about it and he said they didn't have anymore. Walked in, everybody stared and didn't say a word to me, nobody greeted, nor helping the huge line there was. I had to ask somebody to help me and turns out they did have what I was looking for, yet they didn't give it to me instead they asked me to wait outside and wait for my turn. I ordered a coffee and was told food would be a 25 minute wait for food. I assume because they were serving the drive through lane only. I couldn't even get a bagel and cream cheese... This place gets only 1 star. I typically do drive-thru and always offended because the team members have their tip jar in your face in the open window. Are they earning tipped wages? No. Do they receive tuition assistance, paid time off, 401k, benefits, sabbitacals, and more? Yes! I OFTEN get a head shake for shaming me for not tipping. However, this Sunday morning, my husband and I went inside. First, we asked to check-in for the rewards program. The team member said she didn't know how to do it. Soooo . . . we just stood there. Finally, she looked around and asked for help. When I picked up my Farmhouse breakfast bagel sandwich, it was room temp or cooler. Definitely not warm or hot because the cheese was cold and not melted. I asked my husband if they would be offended if I asked them to nuke it. He said that wasn't a good idea. I wrapped it up to save for later and sipped on my coffee (good and hot). Before we left, I went to the counter and ordered a Nova Lox to-go. The scraggly red-head team member (not the I-don't-know-how-to-check-in girl) stood there and looked at me. I repeated my order then she turned and walked away. No acknowledgement, not even "sorry". That set me off and I said in a loud voice, "Hello?! you kidding me?! How rude!" The I-don't-know-how-to-check-in girl jumped in and apologized and took my order. When I picked it up, I tried to get the attention of the scraggly red-head and told her she's rude. She looked at me, laughed and pointed to her headphone and said, "I was on my headphone." It would be good if there was some sort of service. Whether you go inside or or drive through, it's always a horrendous wait. Left completely( after waiting at least a half an hour- along with a couple of other cars) watched people go in- didn't see one come out. But, the reviews all say the same thing- terrible service. The lines are always ridiculously long. This is the 3rd time I have ordered a Carmel macchiato from this Einstein's and what I am given is not anything close. This location is abysmal to say the least. After going there many times, and giving many chances. They still could not make my food correctly. Beyond that, their drive-through is often closed (what is the point of having one if 50% of the time it is closed?), they are always understaffed, and even when there is not a line, they still take way too long to make the food. However when I arrived at this Einstein/caribou I was extremely disappointed by that lack of FRIENDLY customer service, I ordered normally and was constantly being glared at by the employee on register. Wow. I just walked into this place and was there for maybe 10-15 minutes total. For the first 7 i was just there no humans there at all. Then I see this girl walk out and the only thing she seems to be attentive towards is cleaning duties. These guys are not supposed to close for another TWO HOURS. And she didn't ask me if I needed or wanted anything as I sat down at a table waiting for someone to show. Went to this location on Saturday Morning 4/30. There were only 2 people working while the drive thru was slammed. We ended up going inside and I ordered a lox bagel and they told they didn't have any today but the person that was in there ordered a lox bagel and got it. After waiting a long time, the manager came inside the store talking on her cell phone while the other employees were messing around. I called the manager to speak to her, her name was Yolanda she said and asked her a couple questions and she started yelling on the phone saying, "I don't know what I am f****** talking about and I need to mind my business." She then hung up the phone when I asked for the store number. I tried to call back and she ignored my calls. I completely understand being busy because I work as a GM of a restaurant but customer service is very important. Yolanda was extremely disrespectful. You should never curse at a customer, raise your voice or hang up the phone while a customer is talking. I will never return to this store. read more

I paid over over 7 bucks for a lox and bagle and recieved this... It was not busy, it was 830 on a sarurday, and waited about 15 minutes. That half of the bagle had more salmon then the other and basically a whole entire onion. They were also out of everything bagles which they didnt tell me till after 5-10 minutes of waiting. The drive through is an absolute shit show. Every time the order gets confused by the person taking it and the wait is ridiculous. I've given these guys 3-4 times and every time it's the same result. The priority here is the drive thru. Walk in guests have no priority, and should. This location smells like cat urine, too. They earn their one star rating here. Specialty coffee drink orders are prepared and ready before the food which was ordered by previous customer. Coffee station is not self-serve, you have to ask for more coffee. And, there are no wooden stirrers, only plastic, which is a disaster. Stiflingly hot, heat blowing relentlessly, customers sweating while drinking their coffee. Other customers smoking cigarettes outside of store in violation of state law, and management won't enforce it. read more

I used to come here at least once a week, but lately I'm very disappointed in the service!!! The last 2 times I've been there they have messed up my order (after sitting in the drive through line for over 20 minutes). My bagel and egg sandwich came without an egg and yesterday they handed me my blueberry muffin... only to find out it was cinnamon when I got to work. Some of workers come off very rude when you get up to the window like you are inconveniencing them, but isn't it their job to make your order.... and make it correctly?! If I'm going to have to wait over 20 min to get an incorrect order than I can go somewhere else from now on. Very bummed. read more
