This is probably one of the worst run food establishments in Utah. I have tried for several years to give them a chance to help me with breakfast needs and have even talked to managers about what my needs are (just need bagels early in the morning right after opening and need to have them ready to meet a schedule). Some of the problems I have encountered include no bagels (they ran out right after opening), store closed because no one showed up to open on time, bagels not ready even though pre-ordered, bagels not cut or missing napkins/knives. I even had the manager call me rude when I was upset my bagels were not ready on time causing me to be late for a meeting (all I said was "your killing me" and why preorder if you cannot get them ready on time). I am done with this establishment as a food resource. I will take several thousand dollars worth of business per year elsewhere. read more

Decided to give this location another try because the place is just so convenient for me! And I'm glad I did because this time around they did not disappoint. I ordered the exact same thing as last time, Texas brisket, double egg, double brisket on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. When I arrived the pickup shelf was empty and I immediately approached the cashier. It seems they don't use the pickup shelf and keep all online orders behind the counter for pickup. I gave the employee my name and was promptly given my order. Before leaving I wanted to check the bagel and it definitely delivered on the extra brisket that I ordered. I will say I came a little earlier than I did last time. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day or they were running out of supply. I would recommend going well before 2pm to ensure your order is completed as ordered. The brisket bagel was very good the first time, but obviously better this time around. I also ordered a blueberry muffin, which was super soft and moist. I order from this place at least once a month if not multiple times a week, and every time my food is made fast and well. The workers are friendly and eager to help, the restaurant is always clean, and they respect the schmear more often than not. I used to frequent this location, but stopped due to poor customer service and poor management. My coworker recently started going back and told me that there was new management and much better service. As a business owner, I wanted to give this location another chance. The new manager has implemented changes, including staff training and a focus on customer satisfaction. I went in this week and was greeted with a professional outgoing attitude. The new manager was polite and handled herself very professionally. It was refreshing to see someone with an upbeat attitude. I will definitely be returning as a regular to this location. By far the worst location I've ever visited. The place was dirty, floors disgusting and trash piled. The girl taking my order either had a tongue ring or a piece of gum in her mouth. I love Einstein but today was not my favorite experience. This location actually usually isn't that great. The employee taking my order was kind of rude. Just left on Easter Sunday at the Orem location ordered three bagels and one hash brown. Every single bagel was burnt and the wrapping on all three sticky none of the bagels I got had anything sweet or sticky. Everything I tried to order they were "out of" and my husband wanted a bagel sandwich but then told they only had two regular eggs left and that was it. So we could only get one egg each? We asked for egg whites and they refused to make them even though they were open!! They said the machine was in the sink and they refused to make us a egg white? We walked out because it was such a bad team and the service sucked. It delivers a great bagel. I'm not sure if that's just because it's the only place around that really has bagels..... But really, they're the closest I have yet found around to sort of resemble NY bagels. They have good chew to them. Which I realize is weird to say. I love bagels. But to walk into a huge bagel shop, have a giant counter with a menu matching the size and nowhere actually having a list of bagel and schmear flavors available was a little annoying. Eventually I wandered over past the cashier to strain to read the labels on the baskets of bagels towards the back, but I still felt unsatisfied that I couldn't see all the options and left unsure of what I would want to get the next time. By the time I made my choice and got my bagel, it was deliciously toasted all the way through, but the flavor of the bagel and cream cheese really wasn't any better than good grocery store bagels and cream cheese. The employees are nice and work to foster a kind of coffee shop feel-- the kind of place you want to bring your laptop and get some work done for a couple of hours. I hadn't been to the Draper store in a few weeks. They closed the indoor seating since the pandemic and never bothered to reopen it. I ordered my usual half dozen. When I got home I thought the batch of assorted bagels were made small in error. No, I am a victim of product shrinkflation. No wonder they didn't offer my receipt. I couldn't compare pricing. This happened with a sandwich shop in Sandy that Danny DeVito currently appears in their ads. They made smaller sandwiches and charged more. Never went back. First time at this bagel shop! What drew me in was getting an email offer for a bagelrito + drink for $5. Since one of my foodie instagrammers raved about it, I had to see for myself. Bagelrito = eggs, turkey sausage, cheese, hash browns, salsa, green chiles in a flour tortilla, wrapped in an Asiago bagel. It was a pretty good size amount of burrito packed with protein. The price was pretty good for it too, having it come with a medium sized drink. Bagelrito wasn't impressive in my opinion, and it's not something I will order again. Since I was in there, I also ordered half a dozen bagels (six bagels) that cost about $7 - which was a bit steep for me. I ordered blueberry, Asiago, French toast, and pretzel. I was really surprised that the blueberry was not good at all - I've had a lot better buying the Sara Lee bagels bag. However, their French toast bagel was excellent and will prob come back because of it. On Mondays before 11am, they have a promo for a dozen bagels for $7 - which is a great deal. On multiple occasions, my order has been incorrect or not including items on my order. The bagels are never toasted, if that's not something they do they should, and most of the days after 12pm they are out of coffee. Staff is helpful, and does do a good job at fixing the mistakes, however it seems to be something is wrong every time. I'm not sure if it is management or a bad system, but it is very inconsistent. I made an online order and for some reason they didn't receive it on their end, and I did have a charge, so it went through on my end. The staff fixed the issue and after being at the store for 45 minutes I received my order. My boyfriend and I just got home after ordering a few bagels togo and the workers at this store made a mistake with my order. I got a garden avocado bagel and specially asked for no tomato sauce, to replace it with cream cheese instead; I did this because i wanted cc but also because Im allergic to several types of chili &chili powders(which i read from the description contains it). Here's the thing.. Einstein has great bagels and breakfast sandwiches, delicious shmear and all the things. This location tends to leave out items ordered though. Usually just a single item but that also means someone doesn't get what they wanted and we still get charged. Driving back is not always an option either. What happened to this place? I live nearby and come quite often. Over the last year or so I've noticed a slight decline in service. The bagels are the same but the sandwiches seem to be thrown together. The flow of ordering with the fancy new (and very impersonal computers) is just broken. When I walked in today there was one person in line to order and probably 7 people in line to pay. I ordered and then observed that they were randomly calling people out of line to pay. Once you pay you then wait again for the 1 person doing the actual prep work to make your order. That's great. A person taking orders behind a massive black computer screen, a person ringing people up, and a person making the orders. Oh, and one other thing, I used to look forward to coming in. The music was great and the employees always seemed to enjoy working there and interacting with the customers and each other. There was good energy. Now it's like the employees are recruited from Subway Sandwiches. I don't think I saw a single person smile or look even slightly interested in what they were doing. Your music is like I'm at Walmart. My prediction is you are also not doing as well as you used to and will be switching management soon.
