As luck would have it, I had to run an errand near the area and my decision was made. First off, the entrance isn't where you'd think it would be. The order window was closed and I noticed people going up to the deck to get in, so up I headed. The place was actually spacious and comfortable, it has a Caribbean vibe to it. After much consternation, I figured I'd make it tough on them and opted for the Reuben. As some somebody who has had many Reubens at the place where they were invented, Omaha's Blackstone Hotel, I can be a tough judge. This is definitely the best place to get one in KC, so I know that I'll be back for more. I even liked the bread that they used, it set it apart from other sammiches. And the service was great, so I'll be back.

The chicken was cold, but still held some flavor, the dressing was great, there were fresh veggies, pickled onions. It was one of the best 400 calorie meals I've had in a long time. IMO it didn't need it as the sandwich itself was a very good size. The dining room is moderately sized, and filled up by around noon. I noticed loads of folks coming in for to-go orders so I'm sure it's always busy around the lunch hour. The price point was about what you'd expect these days - with most things hovering just under the $20 threshold. Overall, I really enjoyed my lunch here and I'd go back!

I do ask them to remove the onions because I'm just not a fan and on this occasion it was missed. Not a huge deal because I just removed them myself but I appreciate when they just omit it. The space wasn't the largest but there were a few tables and it seemed relatively clean. I'd definitely grab a sandwich and recommend them to anyone in the area.

We will never step foot in another Big Biscuit, and corporate office needs to investigate Brian immediately. And this has been escalated to corporate. We live in a time where this is no longer acceptable. Big Biscuit needs to do better with remediation measures to train their staff to communicate better with customers.
