Haven't been here in awhile. Boy has it changed. Not for the better. Upon entering, the first I noticed was that the employee taking orders was sitting with her but on the counter. Later she walked around quickly, so there was nothing preventing her from standing. The whole store was dirty. Trash on the floor, employees standing together gossiping and not doing anything. Trash cans were over flowing. Tables were not clean. Looks like the floors have not been cleaned in weeks. Never coming back. The food was mediocre. read more

Literally hilarious, leave open both mine and my partners bagels, mine is burnt and has such little "shmear" on it what was there was soaked into the burnt ass bagel. Hers, she paid extra for shmear to be added to her Egg/Bacon Bagel sandwich, the left half had a barely reasonable amount of shmear, the other had none. We went back to speak with a manager, despite being frustrated calmly asking the manager if this was how they typically serve their bagels, he replied yes. At this point I'm laughing out loud because I know this is a flat out lie as I've been here many times before. So I got my money back and won't be coming here again. I guess from here on out I'll start taking pictures of the pathetic food these places serve and make it more known. read more

The quality of their bagels has been going down hill for quite a while. Not sure if it's this location or all. I usually go in on Mondays for the discount dozen. I got there around 11:30 and they were just about wiped out of bagels with none in the back or in the oven. I managed to scrounge up a dozen of not what i really wanted and got to the register. The cashier refused to give me the Monday discount. I stated I had been coming in here for years and it was always honored. Asked for the manager Juan, not there, She brought over her shift leader who stood there and had nothing to say. They lost a lifetime customer over $5 and leaving children, young adults in charge that don't have a clue what customer service is. I'm sad to see the quality of Einstein Bagel sandwich's go downhill. I know it's been a tough year but in order to get my and my husband's business one would hope the extras that made their sandwiches great would have remained. Just had the pleasure of being assisted by a young lady at the order counter by the name of Teagan. She was sincere, polite and efficient. She is a natural people person, without any phoney pretense. Just that short interaction I had with her told me a lot about the kind of employee she is. They don't come around very often like this, so she is a keeper. Of course the food is always awesome here and it gets to me quickly even when it's busy. If Einsteins was smart they would promote her to management. I'm dismayed at some of the poor reviews as I have been coming here for many years and have never had so much as a small issue. Always a flawless experience. read more

Follow up, April 14, 2022, once again this store is closed, not open to the public. We sat waiting to get in then someone said its closed, no sign on door as to their excuse for not opening up as usual for this terrible location. So then we sit in the drive through lane having to wait 15 minutes to place our order. At noon on a Sunday, they were efficiently staffed with conscientious people, and their bakery display was adequately stocked. I ordered the Farmhouse (a bfast sammy) on a pretzel bagel and it was really-really GOOD! It was toasted, cut in half, and the ingredients covered the roll from one edge, all the way over to the other edge! At no time was I ever eating just the roll. Quick, friendly service, and a satisfying sammich. They scored one star lower because the lobby / dining room was littered and nobody seemed to be concerned - even though there was somebody taking out the trash, they weren't actually picking up any off the floor. Looks like the place is CLEANED on a regular basis, and I would definitely say it was clean overall, but the food crumbs and straw wrappers makes it look littered/dirty, and even after the rush, there were employees standing around yaking, taking no interest in cleaning the dining room. read more

Very slow service, TINY AMOUNT OF SALMON on the nova locks, consistently understaffed on saturdays (someone didn't show up to work today) is what you will hear as they make you wait for upwards of 20 mins while they scramble to fulfill the order. I went and asked for two of the same sandwiches, two Santa Fe Sandwiches both with two eggs. Upon arrival to my destination I did not have the turkey sausage that is supposed to be inside of my sandwich. Every time I go there their system is down and they won't accept my rewards on their app. Every time I try and add my purchase to the rewards club, they say the cant because they already totaled it on the register. We used this company for a corporate meeting breakfast. We ordered two days in advance. On the morning when they should have been there at 8AM no sign of them. At 8:30 I called and they said sorry we forgot! They finally showed up around 9:15 (without the Orange Juice we had ordered). This was a very important meeting and I was absolutely embarrassed as I was the one to place the order.I was told by the manager that our card would be reimbursed for the total amount. This meeting took place in January it is now the end of April and we still have not gotten our refund! I have called every month and am assured it would be taken care of. We love Einstein Bagels and seek to find one when we travel which is often. We ate at this location yesterday and today. Both days my husband ordered a pretzel bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Both days they advised they are out of the pretzel bagels. Both days he has to ask them to look in the back in which there were plenty . I went here on a whim. I kind of avoided it because of some of the poor reviews but I was in a hurry and it was either that or McDonalds. I went for lunch, through the drive through and picked up the chicken salad sandwich with a side of fruit. It was made quickly, tasted fresh - and just all around delicious. It came with a pickle, which was super crunchy and my side of fruit was great. The fruit tasted super fresh as well. I can't wait to take my husband there since they had vegetarian options for him. Beyond irritated with this place. Einstein's is one of my fav bagel places. This one I would not go to again. Waited over 25 min for two bagel sandwiches. There were five young people working and no manager. When we finally got our sandwiches, there was a slice of bacon on each one, and half of my sandwich had no avacado (maybe a teaspoons worth on one side) and it was on the wrong bagel. They also charged me for an extra bagel instead of putting it on the right bagel. The other bagel was not extra toasted as we ordered. I took our food back to the counter and asked for a manager. The staff all looked at each other and one young girl shrugged her shoulders and looked at me. When she came over I told her the wait was ridiculous and the food was wrong and I did not want to wait for the order to be remade I wanted a refund. She huffed to the register, and said not one word to me. I said if you are the acting manager here is a teaching moment. If a customer is this upset an apology goes a long way. Excellent, proper bagels. Other food items are good, too. Barista-made drinks are in and out. Service ranges from good to baffling. Nice surroundings (outdoor tables, fireplace inside). Staff goofs around when management is not present...that presents a poor image when your food prep is highly visible. Place needs tighter control up front. After ordering a toasted bagel with smear and a ham and egg sandwich with coffee, My wife had to use the restroom. She stated the restroom was disgusting with no soap or running water. There was a sign stating water was NOT available. How were the employees washing their hands? Hopefully, washing hands in the kitchen. Also, the size of the bagels were much smaller than normal. Wasn't sure if they were attempting cost reductions or the employees didn't know what they were doing. The bagel was barely toasted. The Ham and egg sandwich was good. Coffee was good.
