The sandwich that I had was the Reuben which is called the Junker Stuka. It definitely was the most amazing sandwich I've ever had. The only reason I didn't give it a five star was because when I got home I realized that I had paid $17 for the sandwich. The menu that's online is very outdated. Even the one somebody posted here 10 months ago showed that sandwich was $14. So for me, I wouldn't consider it a reasonable price. But if it's the best sandwich I've ever had definitely worth $17. Tucked away inside an industrial park (we passed it twice looking for it), this shop is a trencherman's heaven. Deb -- a former pilot among many other vocations -- really piles on the fresh meats and cheeses to fill your empty belly. I ordered the Piaggio (a spicy Italian) and DW opted for the Helldiver. We could barely get our mouths around them -- delicious! Since we were there well after lunchtime rush, we got to spend time with Deb, hearing about her airshow days, along with great gossip about things to see in Prescott. I would love to make this a 5 star review but a quick, fast and efficient deli is hard to reach to for. However, I am extremely impressed by the atmosphere of the small little deli. Hidden behind the busiest Fry's in the quad city and located in a small operational business strip (Sparklight, a printing company and an Arrowhead water distribution company are next door), its a pleasant surprise in comparison to the other restaurants Prescott and PV have available. I chose the Catalina on a 6" sub roll and I loved it. Simple sandwich and satisfying. I tried it on the fly but was impressed by what I experienced so far. I'll be going back to try another more complicated sandwich. My wife and I shared the Stormavik sandwich. It's a roasted turkey sandwich with capicolla, tomatoes, grilled onions and provolone with a Russian dressing. It was not at all what we expected or even had before. It was a full pound of turkey bliss and enough to feed us both. Highly recommend this place. I just heard about this place, so I tried it. Can't say I had a good experience. As I was standing waiting to pick up my sandwich I was looking around, and the place is really dirty, I mean I should have just left, but that would be rude since I called the order in for pick up. My sandwich was so greasy it went through the tinfoil, the parchment paper, and the bag. The meat tasted old and had zero flavor. I simply could not eat it and ended up throwing it away. On our way back to the valley from La Paz/Mohave so we decided to try this place because it came up in the search for Prescott sandwiches. Based on reviews and rating, we got off the beaten path and found this little shop at the end of a little strip mall. There were a few people and cars when we pulled up and by the time we left, it was busy. Due to pandemic, orders are taken at the door and then served at the door. We only saw one woman working so not sure if someone else was in back actually making the sandwiches. We ordered two sandwiches, separately because we needed receipts for travel expenses. The order was taken on a piece of paper and because we needed itemized receipts, we had to write out on the copy what we ordered, where from, etc. I had a turkey sandwich and friend ordered ham. From the pictures you will see, these are messy sandwiches. And 3 stars because you will see the picture of the ham sandwich with the end piece of tomato, and the whole thing just slapped together. My turkey sandwich was really good...would have liked a bit more mayo and sauce. Both had thick slices of onion, tomato and mine had pickles. The meats were not processed, sliced fresh and you could really tell that. Good and filling. read more

1/24/20 I came here for lunch and this was a restaurant that popped up in on my, "search for food radar." Sure glad I found this place thanks to yelp. I came here expecting typical cold deli sandwiches only to be proven wrong. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and a side or rice pudding. Everything was fresh to order, and delicious. The staff was very friendly and everything in the restaurant was clean. The restaurant holds a military theme as the owner has family that are predominantly military based. Have eaten here for about two years. Sandwiches are always excellent, as is the potato salad. I found the mac 'n cheese to be way too salty. Also, the macaroni salad is basically just boiled elbow mac with a scant few tiny pieces of veggies, and basically no dressing. My biggest complaint is the overall cleanliness of the place and the owner/sandwich maker who is a one-woman show. Over the last two years, the place keeps getting dirtier. It needs a complete deep clean. Also, everything inside smells like overcooked bacon, and the smell permeates everything in the store, plus your clothes even after being inside for just 5-10 minutes. The kicker was the last time I went. She "cleaned" a table after the guests left by giving just an "S" wipe with a not-so-clean towel, which left 90% of the table uncleaned/unwiped. Then, she put the used paper plates/napkins into the trash can, pushing them inside the trash receptable with her bare hands. Then, less than a minute later, she had my sandwich ready. She did not wash her hands! After all my times there I've never seen her wear gloves while preparing the food. Again, the sandwiches are of good quality, but I won't be taking any more chances of getting an illness due to poor cleanliness and food service practices. read more
