    Jalapeño-Cheddar Farmhouse Egg Sandwich

The food at Einstein Bros is delicious, but this visit the service was poor. Knowing Sunday morning is a very busy time, I ordered 30 minutes ahead via their website. I waited 20 minutes after arriving and was addressed rudely by the front service staff. "I'll have to see your bank account showing the order went through and was paid." Well, cranky redheaded tween, how about the email I got 30 minutes ago saying my order was ready from your location?? Lots of excuses and a kind manager later (I am not a Karen, but I was about to be), my meal was finally prepared and he gave me 2 cards for future sandwiches, which I greatly appreciated. Red even through in an extra hash brown after being a little aggressive about proof of the order earlier. I was just passing through on a road trip from my daughter's and since she' was moving literally that day, I'll likely never be back to this location. That's good, because I do love a smart bagel sandwich (sans the attitude). The shop was small and hopping as I knew it would be and it smelled delicious--another thing you can always count on at EBB! Fix your web order issues before you give my favorite bagel place a bad rep!

As a former New Yorker, I fully admit I've been spoiled by what are, without question, THE best bagels in the world. The biggest issue for me with Einstein's bagels is the amount of cornmeal on the bottom. It completely alters the experience for me, as the gritty texture that lingers isn't something I'm used to, nor do I enjoy. NY bagels have that baby-bottom-smooth exterior with a light crispness and an amazingly chewy interior. Einstein bagels are unable to match that experience. That said, I've been stopping in for the honey almond and strawberry cream cheeses because they're straight up delicious. I've actually been spreading them on authentic NY bagels mom brought back from recent trip home. If you hail from the tri-state area, you may find yourself disappointed. Consider this a friendly heads-up from a bagel snob who fully embraces that she'll forever be a bagel snob. Stopping here, you can expect a bright, clean store with friendly staff who are the polar opposite of gritty.

    So many flavors of bagels!

I'm so happy they opened a location in this area just days ago. Based on how busy they are today, they are going to do very well. Don't be intimidated by the line as they keep it moving. Everything was very clean, bright and had a spacious feel. You order at the counter and give your name, they will callout your name when ready. Even as crazy busy as they were on their first weekend day, my order came up about 30 minutes later. There are a handful of tables to dine in but it seems most people take it to go. They have such a huge selection of bagel flavors from plain to sweet to savory. You can have them plain, with a "schmear" of cream cheese or as a breakfast sandwich. They also have muffins, cinnamon rolls and cookies. On this visit, I ordered the current special which is a hot honey lox bagel sandwich. It was incredibly good with such a great mix of flavors. I got a side of the hash brown. It's muffin shaped, but it's very good. Lots of great potato flavor and seasoned well. For drinks it's cold brew coffee, juice refreshers, smoothies, lemonade, and Coke products. My favorite thing about my visit today was actually the staff. They were hustling, and they all seemed to have a good attitude. I wish I could remember the man's name who waited on me because he was phenomenal. I will be back very soon.

Came in a Sunday morning and the line was long! I almost turned around but I'm glad I didn't. We waited in line for a little under 10 minutes and our food was out in 10 minutes! We just got two sandwiches, the hot honey egg sandwich and the farm house egg sandwich. Both were really good! I wish they had a little more cream cheese but that's just personal preference. Next time I'm definitely going to be trying other bagels with different shmear! They all look so delicious in the case up front! Staff was working quickly and the place was clean for the most part besides some messy tables but it was a busy morning and I'm sure hard to keep up with! They currently don't have an espresso machine so they can't make some of their coffees but that didn't bother us. We will be coming back for sure!!

Upshot offers both, with a bonus of delicious food. We'd never explored historic Cottleville before, and I immediately appreciated the setting. The surrounding streets and buildings bare a slight resemblance to the charm of Vermont. On a recent nice, near-Spring day, my wife and I knew we had to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Serene with a mild breeze, we would have liked to sit and read for an hour or two, if time allowed. I almost always go for a red eye when I visit a coffee shop for the first time, but there are alot of appealing alternatives; I might have to try Maple Bourbon latte on a future visit. Being a major fan of breakfast food, I had to order the hearty Brake Shop burrito, packed with scrambled eggs, bacon, cripsy tater tots, and pico del gallo. It arrived quickly, hot, and even more filling and flavorful than I expected. Beyond that, Upshot offers an ample menu of other breakfast and lunch options; my wife ordered a Turkey Sando and custom-made iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. We don't get that many beautiful days in the midst of St. Louis winter; I'm glad I could spend one at Upshot's flagship cafe, and excited to see how their other locations compare.

The ambience of this place is clean clear and gives me a coffee shop restaurant type vibe I will definitely be back and it'll be hard to try some different things as good as these two items were! 10/10 I recommend

Luckily, it was a leisurely Sunday morning for me, so I wasn't complaining. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the slower pace! One of the things I love about Seven Brew is that there's truly something for everyone. Coffee, chai, energy drinks, smoothies, milkshakes--you name it, and someone in your family can probably find something they'll enjoy. And the drinks are always tasty! The staff is another reason I keep coming back. They're always super friendly, and they usually remember you if you're a regular. They also love when I bring my dogs through the drive-thru, which always makes the experience even more fun. I really like this particular location because there's plenty of space for the drive-thru line to get long without completely taking over the parking lot. Some other Seven Brew locations can feel really small and compact, but that's not an issue here. There's usually music playing, fun polls on the board, and just an overall upbeat atmosphere. Honestly, if I were a teenager, this is exactly the kind of place I would have wanted to work. It seems like there's a fun, positive working environment while still providing great customer service. Great atmosphere, delicious drinks, and friendly service--what more could you ask for?

They were quite busy during my Friday morning visit. They offer a beautiful pastry case full of delicious homemade treats. I grabbed a cinnamon roll because they were flying out of the case while I waited! The roll was tender and full of delicious cinnamon sugar topped with a cream cheese frosting. They offer a generous breakfast menu of sandwiches, breakfast plates, and omelettes. Again, I prefer savory to sweet and decided on a chicken salad sandwich. The croissant was nice and flaky and crispy. The chicken salad was well seasoned and paired perfectly with a juicy tomato slice and iceberg lettuce. MeMe's does offer a variety of hot and iced coffee. The milk selections are limited. I also found the coffee to be too sweet for my tastes. I'll have them add a lot less sweetener next time. Prefer hot coffee? They offer a small bar of sweeteners and flavored creamer to customize your coffee. All in all a delightful experience. The food and service are great.

I'm so glad I did because I found exactly what I was looking for! I didn't have time to sit down and enjoy a full meal, although everything I saw other customers eating looked absolutely delicious. Instead, I headed over to the pastry case and immediately spotted a chocolate croissant. Chocolate croissants are a favorite in my family, so I knew I had to try one. I had the pleasure of talking with the woman working behind the counter, who turned out to be the owner. She told me she makes the croissants by hand every single day, and you can truly taste the care and effort she puts into them. What makes these croissants stand out is the chocolate distribution. Instead of getting one small section of chocolate that disappears after a couple of bites, the chocolate is spread throughout the entire croissant, making every bite just as good as the last. I bought one that day and immediately knew I needed to go back. That weekend, I returned and bought enough to share with my entire family--and everyone loved them! They have quickly become a family favorite. My daughter and I recently took a trip, and on our way to the airport, I made sure to stop by Meme's Cafe to pick up chocolate croissants for us to enjoy on the flight. Sharing those croissants in the air made the trip even sweeter! I highly recommend stopping by Meme's Cafe. The food is delicious, the owners are incredibly friendly, and there is always something new and tempting to try.
