Denny's is one of my go to breakfast restaurant. The hostess Shayan was great. He was pleasant to talk to with a nice attitude. My recent visit had a few hiccups. It was very busy and my server was hard to locate. Thankfully another server was able to step in and assist. One of our dishes was missing an item and the coffee tasted very water down. read more

I had Such a great experience today at Dennys! I usually don't review anything! But today my waitress inspired me to do more reviews on my experiences. Food came out faster than I usually have to wait and was absolutely delicious! Restaurant was nice and clean very easy going too. I had a few questions for my waitress she went out of her way to make sure we were served correctly on time with politeness and caring. The restaurant was busy not as busy as a weekend but definitely busy. She didn't seem rushed even though we saw she had other tables she was waiting on. She never brings our coffee. She was always in a s***** a**. My mom and I have not been to Denny's for approx 20 years. We decided to go about 2 weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised on how delicious the food was. This past weekend we met at the West Covina location and they were very busy. I noticed the manager David and Martha helping out the waitresses and cleaning the tables. I had to express my appreciation of the team work and the quality of the food. Prices are reasonable and I love their burgers which are moist and delicious. I was treated fairly when I bought my meals here. I lived right next door and it was a convenience going there. Managers and wait people treated me with courtesy always. Even if there were that language barrier. I left there because of an opinion I threw at one of the waitresses and regretted later what a mistake it was. She was so kind to me when I told her wasn't coming back that I would be going to the sandwich shop down the street. The problem seems so small now and so embarrassed to return. Nice way to relieve my guilt here with this review. I can no longer afford their prices. Perhaps you can. Quality of food just like any other Denny's. Price of meals about 16-twenty something dollars. Call ahead for the cost of what you buy and save time and trouble ahead of time. The food is like so so dinner except breakfast food. The place at Grand and 10 freeway is always empty or just one or two besides us at dinner time. It's so quiet you feel sorry for the owner. I'm hoping they do a bang up business at breakfast and lunch so that they can stay open. The menu is geared to breakfast and lunch menu type foods. i would not recommend this dennys. i quite like dennys diner food, it is available at all hours of the night. now is it consistent or is the service good... is left to be desired. i visited here twice within two weeks, first time was a pickup order. second time we dined in. let's begin with the first visit. it was maybe 3 am and i was craving breakfast food. we ordered online and stopped in. service was sweet, they were quick with our pickup order too. the food was good, my choconana pancakes were delicious and ooey gooey with tons of chocolate chips and fresh bananas. my accompanying breakfast was also delicious. it was so good the first time, that i came back to dine in with my partner. this time we came at a more reasonable 1 am. as we stopped in we waited some time before a team member could seat us. it was quite busy but maybe five minutes after we sat, most parties began leaving the restaurant. i was hoping as they left, our server would have more time to help us out. unfortunately, we almost never saw our server. he did come as required, but it was bare minimum. if our server did not have to see us to place our orders, we wouldn't have seen them at all. this was with a mostly empty restaurant as well. the food was fine, my choconana pancakes were missing the ooey gooey goodness i had come to expect and were ...just fine. my chicken tenders were good. my partner enjoyed their smoothie and sampler. the cherry on top of this experience was the hell that came after this meal. my partner and i both woke up with terrible cramps and gas. the runs were nonstop for four days after as well. i will not return to this dennys location. maybe ill go to the one in baldwin park next time. read more
