Went in at 9am on a Sunday; Guy at the register very nice but seemed. Overwhelmed and I felt so bad for him having to tell customers they were out of REGULAR cream cheese (pre-packaged and didn't offer from behind the counter) . (Not told till after I purchased the bagels and cream cheese combo to go) :/ Waaay too small to serve this community. bagel baskets are super small and no way this place can support online and store front orders . I didn't want to leave this review because aside from everything I'm going to say, it's damn good. My first visit here, I went all the way home and realized my entire order was wrong. I drove back. My second visit here, I checked my order right outside the store, it was wrong. Thankfully I hadn't driven all the way home. Okay. My third visit here and my last time, there was a hair baked into my bagel. I'm done. It's always the same guy Daniel there. It's unbelievable that I've returned so many times but like I said it's damn good. I wish I didn't have an issue every time I've visited. Won't be coming back! It was so soft and was very enjoyable. I ordered through the app on my phone and when I got there on my bike. My order was just ready when I got there. The Coffee was decent and love the idea that you can get unlimited coffee with your order through the app. But the two main problems is the welcoming vibe from the staff( *They seemed on edge & needed more help to improve morale)and the price for the bagel. One bagel shouldn't cost more than $2-$4. Let alone $6. I wasn't welcome when I came in the store and there was a lot of frustration from the other customers waiting for their food. Overall, the cheddar jalapeño bagel was delicious and the coffee was pretty decent. Some tips would be including more weekly/daily meal deals and discounts to bring and retain more customers. Okay it's now been over a month since this location opened. The first time we placed an order for pick up they told us 15-20 minutes, it was past 45 minutes and still nothing. We asked to cancel our order and they told us we could cancel through the app and you cannot. We had to go through customer service. I gave them grace because it was a new location and I get it. Today we decided to try again. About 4 weeks later. We placed an order we waited and waited and they called our name after I don't know how long and they told us they didn't have 2 of the 3 bagels we ordered it was 10am. Again. Decided to cancel. They didn't even have a PLAIN bagel. I don't know why they haven't got it together. It took them so long to let us know they didn't have the bagels. Let's start by saying the staff is nice. Now on to the actual review. First of all this a fairly new establishment at this location, with that being said it seems like a bunch of young adults with little to no guidance in the realm of getting things done in an efficient manner. This place should have all orders done on time when ordering online. I ordered ahead of time and proceeded to wait 45 minutes for two Frappes, and two bagel sandwich's. They need someone from a different Einstein that could show them the way. Or someone with more experience to guide these people. This is purely constructive and just what I noticed. I recently visited Einstein bros. bagels for the first time and was excited to try your menu. Unfortunately, my experience didn't meet expectations. My bacon cheddar and egg sandwich was neither warm nor fresh despite being made to order. Additionally, when I ordered a caramel cold brew shake, I noticed that the employee making it measured out my drink but then kept the extra portion instead of offering it to me, which was more than what he gave me on my cup, he just offered it to his other 2 coworkers and even talked about how they could all split it even though I paid for the full amount prepared. When I asked about it, I was given an unconvincing excuse and said it was for another order and put it back in the refrigerator. I wanted to bring this to your attention because it felt like poor customer service, and it left me with a negative impression of my visit. The manager apologized for one bagel being burned and said it was unacceptable-- but he saw the other bagel and didn't think it was fully burned so didn't replace it. I was so excited to try this place. I waited in a long line on a Sunday. Me and my daughter got different items. But I did get a specialty they had at the time. I remember it had brisket in it. So after waiting a long time in a crowded area with so many others, I finally got my food and went home. (Take it, I only live 5 min away). And when I got a chance to take that first bite. Horrible place! Waited 25 minutes to be told they ran out of one of the bagels we ordered. So we switched bagel of course. The worker then said "both sandwiches on the sesame seed bagel, and I said no, the seed bagel is plain with cream cheese and egg and the other loaded sandwich is on the everything bagel, like it shows on the receipt. Proceed to wait another 10 minutes when they called our order. They ended up switching the bagels and screwed up the entire order! Then said oops, we're out of the bagels now, it'll take 20 more minutes. I'm so pissed and just got a refund. Wasted almost 40 minutes to leave with no food. Such a waste of time. The coffee is really good. However, the bagel was hard should be soft. Overall, the bagel can be better because it's pricey. I ordered online and should been ready for pick up at 9am. It was 9:15 am and still not ready on pick up area. When I got to restaurant there was crowd of people waiting for pick up. My recommendation is need better systems and process. Definitely more staff on busy days to keep up demand . And someone to check on customer for mobile orders and cashier can take orders . I want this place to be successful :) read more

This is my 2nd visit to this new location . Opening day was madness so I decided to give it another try. I usually frequent the Einsteins in Pasadena. Idk if recipes are different but the bagels lack flavor & missing the cornmeal on bottom. I ordered the apple cinnamon and it one small chunk of apple!! Not to mention the preparation is sloppy cream cheese all over bagel and bag on both visits . Pasadena location wraps each bagel in wrapping to avoid this issue . I hope things improve as this location is across the street and much more convenient than Pasadena. read more

We went this morning and placed our order at 9:42am, it was a bit crowded and we were expecting to have a little bit of a wait but it turned into an hour wait and when we finally got our food, our order wasn't even right. I understand it's a new location, but their lack of efficiency was ridiculous, there is no way it should take that long for two bagel sandwiches and two bagels with cream cheese. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unprepared to serve a Saturday morning breakfast crowd and were running out of bagels, further delaying orders. Awful experience. This was my first time trying this place. To begin with, staff are not friendly nor welcoming. The staff seem stressed and unorganized. However, I placed an online order and after waiting for a long time past my pick up time, I asked a staff about my order and she just walked away and told another staff member about the order and all I heard them say is "I am catching up on it" but she never came back to let me know or anything. After waiting another 5 min he finally tells me "we are out of the bagels you ordered" I asked for a refund, apparently I can only do it on the app. I asked for guidance on how to get a refund through the app and still no help with that either. I have now reached out to customer service for a refund, but I do hope I actually get it. It feels so ridiculous walking out unhappy, without an order AND no refund. read more
