This review is actually for the ice skating rink inside the park…read more It is an outdoor skating rink so make sure you dress warm. The prices are affordable con paired to other ice skating rinks in New York. Rink access is $6 for town of oyster bay and $9 the public. Skate rentals are $5 each. My children don't have much experience with ice skating so having guides would have been helpful. Unfortunately, they do not have an available to rent here. Skate service is quick, they have ample staff to make sure check in and skate pick up is seamless. The rink attendants do a good job of checking on kids when they fall and making sure they're okay and not hurt. The concession stand offers hot chocolate and snacks. We definitely enjoyed hot chocolate after spending an hour on the ice. I enjoyed the cookie dough hot chocolate and cannolis. My kids had the peppermint and gingerbread hot chocolate. We also enjoyed the real wood fireplace to get cozy and warm. Definitely will come back!

My favorite is the 8 new pickleball courts shared with tennis courts but the primary use is for pickleball. The courts are lighted for nighttime play and always gets a good crowd. Other activities are as follows: Racquetball Courts Basketball Courts Jogging paths Pool Indoor ice rink Baseball field Playgrounds Dog park Archery There may be more activities available but these are the ones I noticed and have made use of. Various artists perform in their bandshell and they also have movies and other activities; check their summer schedule to see their many offerings. My favorite of the annual concert series is the fireworks night! This is usually scheduled on the Friday either before or after the 4th of July; with a rain date, in case of bad weather. They usually have a concert between 7-9pm, with the fireworks immediately after the concert. If you ever want to see fireworks up close, this is the place to see it!! But be warned:. It can get pretty loud! Lots of fun for the whole family. Amazing fireworks!!

This is such a great park! There are so many different things that you can do…read more There's a basketball court for teens to adult adults, and a cute small area for children. It's not great for babies since there's only the swings there for them. But it's great for kids that are walking and till like maybe 10. It was my first time there so I was a little confused on where to enter. There was one way into the park for the kids, but it looked like it was locked so I went to an area where there was an open space for me to go through, which is where the basketball courts were. If it weren't for this one mom standing there telling me that the gate looks closed is actually the place to enter then I would've taken the longest way around. If you go all the way to the back, there are a few spots where you can sit down in the shade to watch the kids in the back part of the playground. If you go all the way back, you can enter in Massapequa preserve. But before you enter that way, there's a few areas where you can have a picnic, but you need to have a permit for it. I didn't notice that there was a few cameras on the trees.
