I even received a text confirming the appointment, but when I arrived I was told I didn't actually have one because it hadn't been entered into the "correct" system. Today was even more confusing. I went for my next appointment and ended up being bounced between their old location and their new one with no guidance whatsoever. I thought the sign at the old location says the new location will open on March 19, which led me to believe they were still operating out of the old space. However, when I arrived the doors were locked. Apparently the new location was open as of January 19, but there was no clear communication or signage explaining where to go or what was actually happening when I went to the new location either. This was especially frustrating because I made my appointment around or shortly after the time they had moved and no one thought to tell me that I would need to go to a new location. (Maybe I'm expecting too much to be proactively informed that the office has moved after I've been going to the same office for eight years or so.) It's frustrating because this used to be a reliable place, but right now the lack of organization and communication makes it very difficult just to figure out where you're supposed to be.

The second time, they reached out the week before to reschedule me for an hour later. I arrived for my re-scheduled appointment, and I have been waiting for 15 minutes past my appointment time. So, while I haven't been coming long enough to see whether I am getting any results, I do know that they are not very organized and don't value their customers' time.

I have been coming to AZTECTAN I love it here. For more reasons than just the fact that this place is clean and definitely has a spa like atmosphere and has ample beds which the bulbs are changed out frequently. The staff her are always welcoming and their hours here are the best. I like that the beds are current and not some old tanning beast that some salons have. They also have a MASSIVE selection of various tanning maximizers and sunless tanning sprays and teeth whitening?? Yes, they have a solar activated teeth whitening system. I always protect my face/chest with one of the UV blocking towels that they offer here but has i not I could use the teeth whitening system that apparently can get your teeth up to 6 shades lighter. I am sure it's not true of every case but it's pretty awesome to get a little color and get your teeth whitened at once. I have to defend the price point here. You pay for quality and you certainly pay for what you get here. It's cheaper to buy a package than to do individual tans. Look at me I sound like as though I am a baked looking chic honestly I am not but I don't dig pasty legs so I do pop in 1x - 2x a week to keep up my base and I don't mind the prices here. I have been to other tanning salons and y far this one is the best. With one session after weeks of not tanning I came with a nice tan. Other tanning salons seemed like the bulbs needed to be changed out because I was not seeing results like I do here. They offer a ton of various packages and Yelp offers as well. The owner is a very hands on friendly lady who will stop at nothing to make sure you are pleased. I especially love the fact that they will put my name on a "spa kit" for me so that I can leave my tanning lotion here and not always be lugging it around. LOVE this place! read more

This place is beautifully decorated. Each room has well thought out features/design. It was really nice that the rooms have Netflix available to keep you occupied during body wraps. The "hello beautiful" room It is especially lovely. Despite all of these good things, I spent a great deal of money and did not see any results, with the exception of the double chin reduction. My chin did look noticeably smaller and more smooth, but it only lasted about two days, tops. I mentioned that I had tried mesotherapy, and the owner told me to be careful, because that does not work. I mentioned that I was considering liposuction, but I was told that that would ruin my life. I mentioned several times that I just didn't want to waste any more money towards treatments that wouldn't yeild any results, but that is exactly what happened. I had really high hopes and followed their instructions closely, such as avoid drinking alcohol for three days after cryo and to use their detox tea. I did multiple body wraps, double chin reduction sessions, body sculpting and cryo-therapy sessions. Maybe my body is resistant or some thing, but Even after multiple sessions , and waiting the suggested time that your body is supposed to flush out the fat cells, there was no change to be noted. I certainly did not lose any fat cells, just a bunch of time & cash. Maybe these methods work for some people, some of the time, but unfortunately, I am not one of them. I will say that the staff is friendly, accommodating, and very pleasant. Talking to them will put you at ease right away and you will feel at home. I am sure the tanning beds and other services are great, just don't Get your hopes up about seeing any significant results with the fat loss procedures. read more

Long over due review for this amazing place!! I originally found out about Aztec Tan in the little Get One Free booklet that comes in my mail. $35 dollars for an infared body wrap? I was intrigued.. Called them up to ask a few questions (the girl on the phone was very sweet and patient with me). I ended up making an appointment. From moment I stepped into this salon I have had nothing but amazing experiences.. The young lady who initially helped me (Brooke) is a doll! Come to find out the $35 dollar price is not just for the first wrap.. On your first visit you can buy as many as you want for $35 dollars! Are you kidding me? Now, I've done a lot of different wraps and have paid a lot of $$$ and I never have gotten such a good deal before. I purchased 12 wraps @ $35 each (can not get over the amazing price) I was informed by the lovely ladies that work their that because what you will be losing is NOT WATER WEIGHT it may take a few to start seeing results. I definitely felt a difference after just the first one though (detoxed, lighter, more refreshed). I am pleased to report that after 12 wraps, a moderate exercise routine, and a decent diet. I have gone from a size 13 to a size 7!! I just could not be happier. I was trying for a while to lose the weight and inches but it was just not happening fast enough for me, until I started the wraps. Also, there are some other benefits to the wraps. The little acne I had cleared up, I am sleeping better, my cellulite is gone, and they have helped with reducing my stress. I am a forever customer with Aztec Tan! Everyone go see them!! At first I was skeptical but I thought i would give it a try. I had a car accident two years ago and havent been able to get back to the gym or much mobility, plus im a workaholic to the core.. . Everything in my body hurt and I new that I had to detox. Saw the flyer and sighned up for everything. Just threw caution to the wind. Rebecca and Brooke i trust with my whole heart and I felt safe and had instant report.... they are young but their knowledge is based on real results and have excellent business ethics in all areas. I can honestly say that all the technology and products work 1000%. If you have real expectations and are willing or have the time to pay attention to your body and follow instructions you will see incredible results. I have seen tremendous results in my body after only 1 week. As a mom of 3 it is so hard to find time to dedicate to myself but I'm so glad I finally did! First, the staff here is so lovely they make customers feel so comfortable. They even allow me to bring my kids when I cannot find a babysitter! They've also even opened earlier just to accommodate my schedule. I began working out after my third child and was doing well but after a while became stuck at a set weight. Adriana recommended I combine the contour light with the infrared heat for best results so that's exactly what I did! 12 of each and I've seen SO much help with the loose skin, cellulite, and inches. The best part is I'm not even finished with my sessions! Eventually I also added the colon hydrotherapy as recommended by Rebeca, the owner and colon hydrotherapist. My first treatment I lost 3 lbs!!! You would be amazed at how much waste can back up your results. Doing all three services I was able to lose at least 7-8 pounds and counting! And for those of you curious about the teeth whitening, definitely try it! Whiter teeth instantly without the sensitivity or pain. I called Aztec Tan and Spa in hopes they could help my wife who for many years has had stomach problems. We have tried so many different treatments at so many different places. My wife had so much pain, bloating, cramps, and constipation. She couldn't use the restroom she was tired all the time and she just felt toxic. I would like to share the wonderful experiences I have had at Aztec Tan & Spa. I have been going on and off for years, since just living life keeps me busy. I love the contour laser and the Infrared body wrap, because it detoxes your lymphatic system which is a component of our immunes system and helps us prevent infection. I have seen my health improve immensely, and I sleep better at night, and losing inches is a definite bonus, without having to use invasive procedures, and as a Registered Nurse I always look for Alternative and Natural ways of healing my body. Believe or not!! "I have been suffering with my legs swelling from the knees ; going to the doctor two to three times, having all types of tests run and seeing specialists. came to Aztec tan for a spray tan. the girl at the register was nice at first but then once we went into the room she started to say things about my body. I am already uncomfortable getting undressed in front of someone that I don't know and the comments about me needing to get a body wrap were just rude. I mean there is a time and a place. the tan did not even last long. I had to go to work after and was so embarrassed because I looked orange and the tan was smudging off in some places and I asked her if I was okay and she said yes but it was not okay because I looked blotchy after taking a shower the next day. Aztec tan is great. I needed to get a nice tan within 3 weeks for my vacation. I got a nice even tan all over just in time for my vacation. They have a variety of beds to choose from and constantly have specials going on. Rebecca is very friendly and willing to answer all your questions if you're a newcomer. I purchased a series of five HIFU treatments, which were recommended to help lift and tighten my face and neck. Unfortunately, after completing all five sessions and spending approximately $1,800, I did not see any improvement. In fact, I feel that my face and neck look more saggy than before, and I actually feel like I look older now than when I started. I was specifically encouraged to include my neck in the treatment plan, but that area is where I am most disappointed with the outcome. The concerns I originally wanted to address, including sagging around my mouth and jawline, remain unchanged. Despite following through with the recommended treatment plan, I saw no noticeable lifting or tightening. I understand that results can vary from person to person, but based on my experience, this treatment was a complete waste of money. I wish I had been given more realistic expectations before investing so much time and money. While the staff were kind and welcoming, I cannot recommend HIFU treatments at this spa based on the results I personally experienced.

I got my very first lash lift and tint ever. She was so sweet and the results came out fantastic. I was so pleased that around the 5 week mark I wanted to come back and get my lashes lifted again, the day before leaving for a vacation. Unfortunately I was not able to book with Amy again. I booked a few days in advance with the provider Desiree on Mother's day at 9am so I could get this done early and spend the rest of the day with my mom. On the day of my appointment, my provider texted me at 5 am (4 hours before the appointment) cancelling on me and asking to reschedule. I understand people get sick and things come up, but that's when you need to find a replacement when it's that short of notice. Whether her being sick was the truth or not, cancelling on Mothers day just give the impression you didn't want to come in on the holiday. I texted back and asked if there was anyone else who could do it because I am leaving the next day and I didn't hear anything back from her. I then had to scramble and spend double the amount I was going to in order to find a place that was 1. even open on Sundays and 2. had an appointment sometime during the day. It honestly ruined my whole schedule for the day and interrupted my time spent with my mom. Under normal circumstances and I wasn't leaving for a trip the next day this wouldn't be a really big deal to reschedule. It was just incredibly frustrating. After looking over several other reviews for this place it seems like attendance and being punctual from many employees is not this place's strong suit. If somewhere is charging cancellation fees for clients for last minute cancelling, the providers shouldn't be able to do it 4 hours before the appointment, or if they can't make it, find someone who can step in. I'm very disappointed and do not plan to return to this place even though I loved having Amy work on me my first visit.

I am a Groupon girl and I've had several services from there including other microneedling and this was the worst. First, I was on my way and ensured I was 10 minutes and on my way Melissa texts me that she will be 15 MINUTES LATE. So I get there and I'm waiting, debating if I should leave but I'm already here so whatever I guess. Second, there is very minimal talk and she didn't seem to want to be there, simply "having to work Saturdays and every other Sunday soon because she needs money". Third, there is INSANE road closures and noise with the windows open, there is ZERO chance of relaxing. The service was 45min, yet it took 20 min to numb me and then 5-ish minutes of microneedling itself. The needle depth was set way too high. I should be on 0.5mm it seemed higher based on feeling so much when I was numbed already. The gliding and pressure was too much and yet, I'm almost 2 weeks in and I don't see much of a difference. Lastly, she was rushing through the service I'd assume because someone was late which delayed other services. The movement of the facial, needling and moving stuff around was obvious she was stressed, rushing and not attending to clients. Unfortunately, I will never return, and I'll wait for my microneedling person instead.

I arrived at 8:45 am and was welcomed by receptionist and informed her that this was my first time ever having microneedling. She reassured me that I made a great decision. I was then taken into a room for pictures of my skin. After the pictures I was taken to the procedure room and did my medical assessment by zoom with the physician assistant. After being cleared the receptionist brought me a bottle water and advised me that Perla had just arrived and she would be in momentarily to go over everything. I waited less than 5 minutes and Perla came in and we had a great conversation about what I wanted to achieve with my skin and my problem areas. Perla then put numbing cream on my face and advised that she would leave it on for 15 minutes. I was really impressed because every question I had about the process she answered and explained everything step by step. After the numbing cream she cleaned my face and put on an astringent and began microneedling. I thought it was going to be painful and that I was going to bleed. It actually tickles in some areas of the face and neck but I did have a little discomfort on the forehead and nose area. After it was over Perla did show me the areas that I had some redness but stated that would go away within a few days. Perla also advised me to use tinted sunscreen and gave me her recommendations on how to care for my skin. I immediately seen a difference and will be scheduling another appointment in 6 weeks for another session. I was really satisfied and highly impressed! Oh! I almost forgot after my service was over I was trying to redeem my Groupon deal and the Groupon site was having problems. I tried to access it several times and the receptionist tried on her end to access the site and nothing was happening. After 20 minutes the receptionist inquired if I would allow her to stay logged into my Groupon and she would take care of it and call me once the payment cleared. I felt bad for leaving unsure about the payment because I had never used Groupon and wanted to make sure that the business was paid for my services. About 10 minutes after I left I received a call from the receptionist that the website was up and running and she was able to redeem the Groupon payment. This was a bonus for me that I patronized an excellent business! I will definitely be back for future services! Thank you Bare Skin Beauty! You're wonderful!
