Lunch special menu as of 10/2022
    Melissa R.

I removed one more star because the service here is just poor. The food is tasty and the lunch specials are a great deal, but every time I come here, they are so slow and not attentive to the customers. If they had a higher standard of service, I'd come here more often, because it's my neighborhood.

    Absolutely delicious

Everything we ordered was delicious Absolutely great food and wonderful service ! Ashley our server was the best server we've ever had. Continue the great service and delicious food. Like Arnold said " I will be back "

Ask for cocktail prices. These foos act like they're running a mixology bar.

Se pasan de lanza. Que me ven cara de quien o que. Cocktails were not worth the price. Waitress upsold us on the margarita, felt super dishonest to be friendly to our faces and charge us this much for a simple margarita with "silver" tequila. Wild.

    Michelada and fish taco!

It has been several years since I've come to this restaurant. Honestly it was due to a bad experience , but the family wanted to go today, as it was one of my loves favorite place! We celebrated her heavenly bday and it did not disappointed. It was clean and remolded inside , lots of tables and booths to choice from. They serve you chips and salsa. We all enjoyed a Michelada and if come by, you must try. We enjoyed Traditional Shrimp cocktail , fish taco , shrimp taco, aguachile, chicken fajitas and asada tacos.

    Shrimp soup
    Steve A.

To start with I have been coming her for about 15 years. I will admit the prices and amount of shrimp has changed but, the quality has not. Shrimp soup is my favorite. For 8.99 you get soup chips tortillas and a Salad bar. The shrimp soup has fresh veggies and about 9 large shrimp in a red broth. They serve the soup with onions, fresh lime, and cilantro. The chips made fresh are served with 4 salsas. They have a full bar stage and do a brunch on the weekends. several TV's for the sports fans.

Order n pick up oder lines usually long wait times on the weekends.

Aguas Chiles Tostadas and the deep fried fish meal with a bucket of 6 domestic beer bottles is more than enough for two people. Sundays the place is packed with locals watching football games. The atmosphere usually loud with music playing in the background.

Descent food. Service was good. Music is way too loud but if you go see live mariachi bands play, fun place to go.

Because of that great experience, we decided to go back after a long time, this time on a Sunday. When we walked in, we immediately noticed a big difference . There were a lot of empty tables. We ordered shrimp cocktails (cócteles de camarón) and sat down. Unfortunately, this time the food was not good at all. The juice in the shrimp cocktail was extremely salty,so salty that I couldn't eat it. I went back to the counter and explained the issue. The girl helping us was very nice and explained that they cure the shrimp with salt since it's not cooked. She offered to remake it, which they did, and I appreciated the effort. However, even the remake just didn't taste good to me. I like my seafood to taste fresh, with a natural seafood flavor not overly salty or loaded with condiments. This experience made me wonder if something has changed at the restaurant, especially since it was so empty compared to our first visit. The staff was friendly and did try to make it right, which I appreciate, but overall this visit was disappointing. Since it's also out of our way and we only stopped because we happened to be in the area, I don't think we'll be coming back. It's unfortunate because our first experience was so much better. The ambiance was pleasant. They had a couple of TVs playing football, music in the background, and the place was clean but the food just didn't live up to our previous experience.

The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and exactly where you want to be on a hot summer day. The seafood was incredibly fresh and refreshing. I ordered the campechana kora, and my husband had the Aguachiles, both were absolutely delicious and perfect for the heat. What really made the experience special was the staff. They were so kind, patient, and welcoming. My husband has been practicing his Spanish, and instead of making him feel self-conscious, they were incredibly encouraging and sweet with him. It made the whole meal feel even more authentic and enjoyable. Great food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you forget you're just minutes from home. I can't believe it took me this long to find Ceviches, but it definitely won't be six years before my next visit!

Parking was easy to find, which was a plus. The ambiance was casual, relaxed, and family-friendly. They have multiple TVs throughout the restaurant, and during my visit, they were showing a soccer game. I always like it when a restaurant broadcasts sporting events, even if it means the place sometimes gets very packed. I was really looking forward to trying their shrimp ceviche, but to my disappointment, they had run out by the time I arrived. I decided to go with my backup option instead: the camarones a la diabla. Camarones a la diabla is a dish consisting of shrimp cooked in a spicy red chile sauce. This restaurant also serves it with rice, toast, and a side of vegetables. As the name suggests, the shrimp are supposed to be spicy. As a spice enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for the best spicy dishes. The shrimp were cooked well, but they had a sweet taste. It almost seemed as if they had used ketchup in the sauce to tone down the heat. I'm honestly not a fan of mixing sweet with spicy, at least when it comes to protein. The vegetables that came with the dish were soggy and flavorless. The rice was okay but could have been better. The toast was pretty good, it was buttery, garlicky, and crispy. Overall, this dish wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best. The service during my visit was good. My server was attentive and helpful. He frequently stopped by to check if everything was okay. Overall, this experience didn't turn out exactly as I had expected, but it wasn't a bad experience by any means. I might return one day to try their shrimp ceviche. Our family of 4 usually orders the family meal with 2 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of mussels, Cajun fries, and the spicy Boss sauce -- always so good! Hard shells, hard protein, completely white meat and horrible tasting. Came out like it was bland shrimp and sausage straight from the pop with a scoop of sauce poured in. The sauce too was....different and not good. I called and asked if changes were made because...usually the shrimp is soaked wet in sauce and these are stale and crunchy, hard. It's usually slight soggy and easy to remove. Main cook said I should tell them specifically what time I will arrive, otherwise the shrimp will be overcooked. I said, "No, it is removed when it is finished cooking, placed in a bag and left in the front." She completely disagreed and said it was my timing and said the best she could do is give me a 20% discount next time. This was EIGHTY DOLLARS for a dinner for two. 20% off???!! This is horrible customer service. Way over a thousand spent here over the months, invited friends over, threw birthday parties here, and created regulars over my excitement for this place. It is retaining the customer that creates business. This is bad.

Even better, go get a book and read and eat some delicious tacos. I'm not an expert at Mexican food but I am definitely picky when I eat Mexican food. Unless it's home made ...
