Finally!! I have been looking for a restaurant near me that makes good wet burritos and looks like I finally found one. I got myself a burrito of asada with salsa roja and it was delicious. I'll definitely be ordering food from here more often now. So glad I gave this restaurant a try.

First time here, felt very welcoming, just like at "en su Casa"home. It was nice to see a Lady behind the kitchen, usually the men are doing all the cooking at Restaurants now a days- nothing wrong with that. The Lady at the cashier was so nice and friendly, who also helped with bringing our food to our table. My husband and I were waiting for our car next door, so we decided to try it out. They have a big variety of Southern Mexican dishes. I love that I am half Southern from my mom's side "Jalisco"and Norteno from my Dads! I decided to order the Chicken Taquitos-topped with shredded lettuce, tomato and sour cream just like my mom use to make came along with rice, beans and of course lets not forget the guacamole! The taquitos were crunchy to perfection on every bite, the chicken was nicely shredded. The rice and beans just like homemade! My family and I will definitely be back to enjoy more homemade dishes and support Our Mexican community!

Met with Maria owner/chef. I ordered Chilaquiles Plate. It was BOMB.com not too spicy, just how I like it. To drink I had freshly squeezed Carrot Juice. This place is a hidden gem in Sylmar plus they conveniently accept card as payment.

Chilaquiles and beans were delicious. Could care less for the rice as it had a different taste than what I'm used to.

Rice was dry and old, chili relleno was hard and the service was awful. Will not be back.

Everything came out fresh and packed with flavor. The tacos were loaded with perfectly seasoned meat, topped with fresh onions and cilantro, and paired with some seriously good salsas. The grilled veggies and sides were just as good, and even the beans were on point. You can tell they care about quality in every bite. We also grabbed some drinks and everything complemented the meal perfectly. Portions were solid, prices felt fair, and the overall vibe was just great. Honestly one of the best Mexican food experiences I've had in a while. Definitely coming back and bringing more people with me next time.

The inside is small, enough for a few small parties-with a cute little patio outside. I wanted something more unique than everyone else's tacos. They serve theirs with pickled onions, which adds a lovely freshness to it. I had an asada vampiro...there is a lovely, almost Smokey flavor to the meat. And no gristle! I also had the chicken chulada...it was unique! The chicken was salsa good, not fatty, which is imperative for me! I also got rice and beans on the side, my husband said the beans were just like his grandmas! I'll be back for sure!

Enter from the back, enjoy the paintings done by a well known San Fernando artist, a US Vietnam vet, the late Federico Blanco. Continue down the hall to the dining area. We are always greeted and seated upon arrival. The menu has great choices. The food is authentic and delicious. So many choices! Chile relleno is one of my favorites. But there are wonderful beef and pork selections. Recently a friend loved her chicken mole! The desserts are also great, so save room for cheesecake or carrot cake. And next door is a little bakery, so pick up something to bring home! This is a great restaurant to have a party or family get together. I have done both. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and exactly where you want to be on a hot summer day. The seafood was incredibly fresh and refreshing. I ordered the campechana kora, and my husband had the Aguachiles, both were absolutely delicious and perfect for the heat. What really made the experience special was the staff. They were so kind, patient, and welcoming. My husband has been practicing his Spanish, and instead of making him feel self-conscious, they were incredibly encouraging and sweet with him. It made the whole meal feel even more authentic and enjoyable. Great food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you forget you're just minutes from home. Parking was easy to find, which was a plus. The ambiance was casual, relaxed, and family-friendly. They have multiple TVs throughout the restaurant, and during my visit, they were showing a soccer game. I always like it when a restaurant broadcasts sporting events, even if it means the place sometimes gets very packed. I was really looking forward to trying their shrimp ceviche, but to my disappointment, they had run out by the time I arrived. I decided to go with my backup option instead: the camarones a la diabla. Camarones a la diabla is a dish consisting of shrimp cooked in a spicy red chile sauce. This restaurant also serves it with rice, toast, and a side of vegetables. As the name suggests, the shrimp are supposed to be spicy. As a spice enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for the best spicy dishes. The shrimp were cooked well, but they had a sweet taste. It almost seemed as if they had used ketchup in the sauce to tone down the heat. I'm honestly not a fan of mixing sweet with spicy, at least when it comes to protein. The vegetables that came with the dish were soggy and flavorless. The rice was okay but could have been better. The toast was pretty good, it was buttery, garlicky, and crispy. Overall, this dish wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best. The service during my visit was good. My server was attentive and helpful. He frequently stopped by to check if everything was okay. Overall, this experience didn't turn out exactly as I had expected, but it wasn't a bad experience by any means. I might return one day to try their shrimp ceviche.
