However, we quickly did get seated down and it did however, take a very long time for us to get our drinks and our food mind you I only ordered a glass of water and one taco. To start the salsa I got with the chips, it's from a can; rib eye and Chilaquiles are pretty good and the only issue is the lack of flavor refried beans that come with it and the Octopus taco I got, was flavorless and overpriced. Ceviche Toxico Premium- It contained fish, shrimp, cooked shrimp, scallops, and octopus with tomato, cucumber, onion, and cilantro. it was great as an appetizer and definitely had tons of flavor. Burrito Toxico- It contained octopus, shrimp, and fish along with cabbage white cream sauce, tomato, onion, & cilantro. Which was incredible, it quite literally melted in my mouth. The BEST burrito i've ever had hands down! Molcajete Cráter Mar Y Tierra- It contained marinated meat, shrimp, cactus cheese, green onion, and jalapeño. this is the smaller one but definitely did not disappoint, this is the perfect size for 2 people. and now for the show stopper, Molcajete Patron - Which was the biggest one contained cheese, carne asada, chicken, octopus, shrimp, scallops, sausages, jalapeños, bacon wrapped shrimp, & mussels. This was super delicious and had a bunch of variety to it! if you aren't sure what to try i would definitely recommend this as you get to try a bunch of stuff! I think it would be even better in house as it appears from the pictures many of the dishes are served on traditional sizzling Mexican serving dishes. They have a really large menu and lots of different flavorful sauces, from buttery to spicy. I wanted to try the octopus, I ordered the diablo style. It was super spicy and flavorful. If octopus and spicy is your thing then this dish is for you. The fried fish is good. Today I had the fish and chips and will order again. Both times I ordered the seafood soup. Our orders are ready pretty quickly and are always accurate. Flavors and quality of food never disappoints!! This place has a great menu, and is a great value for the cost. The fish quality is pretty good which compliments most of the simple flavored dishes. My waitress spoke no English but understoode fine, and was very astute and courteous. The temperature in the restaurant was a bit overwhelming, which easily takes you out of the experience. The have a nice quaint bar, and some great specialty drinks. Their Michelada was delicious but didn't care for the oysters. It's definitely worth a try here if you're in the area. read more

Decided to try this place after eating at the restaurant across the street that we've been going to for the last couple years that serve similar food. Walked in and we seated right away, but unfortunately, it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to even come over and ask us for our drink orders, let alone our food. Another 10 minutes goes by and we get our drinks, only to wait another five minutes before she returns to take our lunch order. From the time we ordered our food until we got it, it was another 20 minutes. The oyster shots that we got is an appetizer were pretty good and would definitely order those again. My wife ordered fish tacos, which she was pleased with and I ordered the fish fillet with San Fernando seasoning? It was not very good. The food was cold and the sauce overpowered the flag of fish. Not to mention it was cold. Kind of get the vibe that this is more of a night club type place and they just happen to serve food during the day. Our first time here and it was a great experience overall! The hosts were friendly, and the décor inside was beautiful--very impressive and detailed, perfectly suited for the restaurant's vibe. After we were seated, our waitress came over with a kind and welcoming tone. She asked if we'd like to order drinks and was super knowledgeable when we asked for menu suggestions and had questions. Very helpful! We ordered the Chicharrón de Pescado--delicious! It was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The flavor was just right--not too salty, not too bland. The Tiradito Pipiris-Nais de Atún was next--WOW. The sauce they used was amazing and the tuna was incredibly fresh, with no fishy smell at all. The Trompo de Pulpo Zarandeado really stood out. The octopus had a unique flavor unlike anything we've tried before. It wasn't rubbery or chewy--the tentacles were cooked to perfection. We also tried the Oyster Shots, and they were super tasty--fresh and well-prepared. Now for the drinks--we had a Michelada and a Bloody Mary. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The Michelada had almost no flavor; it felt like there was no real effort put into the mix. The Bloody Mary also had a strange taste--maybe because they used agave instead of vodka? Not entirely sure, but it just wasn't enjoyable. All in all, the food and service were fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. She then decided to take the other guest over me half way through my order. In addition to all this, I had to wait almost an hour just to get my food and while I was waiting I saw people that were seated 30 mins after me get served their food! Came here for Father's Day because my dad loves some good mariscos and my mom saw the hype on social media. To start, although not the restaurants fault, there's almost no parking since it's in a very small shopping center. As for the service: the girl at the front was very nice. But our waitress was uninviting and rude. We asked her what kind of fish they use for their dishes and she said she didn't know and didn't bother to ask anyone else or tell us "let me ask the chef". It's like she didn't want to be there. And I understand it was a holiday and you might want to be elsewhere. Let's just say her service was an omen for the food quality. We ordered a pescado al mojo de ajo. The dish said it was a pan seared white fish with WHITE rice and SAUTÉED veggies. It arrives as a soggy *breaded* fish that was already cold. And it came with YELLOW rice that tasted like it came from a rice-a-roni box. And a tiny portion of boiled veggies with no seasoning. And the mojo de ajo sauce looked like glue (or more accurately like a certain bodily fluid...) The fish honestly looked like a frozen breaded fish fillet that was heated in the microwave. For $20 it was one of the cheaper items on the menu but definitely not worth the price and false advertising. If you don't have white rice, just let your customers know! Also they brought this fish dish by itself and we waited another 20 minutes for the other dishes to arrive. You would expect they come out all at once. So we were just there awkwardly looking at that sorry excuse of a fish fillet. The rest of our dishes were mid in quality. Not awful but not justifiable for the prices at all. On top of that, no side salsas for the dishes. The place is also very small and cramped so if you prefer a roomier restaurant, this is not it. Maybe if you get drunk at the bar, the food will taste good to you? ‍ But definitely not if you're sober. Though I imagine that would be hard to do as their michelada is pretty much all tomato juice and no beer. TLDR: I don't know and I don't care how much they paid Mario Lopez for the endorsement. I went here last Friday and the experience was okay, I wasn't sure what to expect, but here's my experience. The bar is small, when we ordered we asked for chips and salsa, but were told they don't offer it after a certain time. When we began to order the waitress asked for a card before we got anything, very odd. The bar has about three armed security walking the bar, which seemed odd not sure if this place gets rowdy in the area. Friday, had DJ Idjray much love to him, but that dj music was very loud, we constantly couldn't hear our waitress or anything anyone was saying. They need to turn the music down, the place is small and couldn't hear anything with the blaring music. We ordered the hot wings with soda and toxico water bottle. First off, we had Ostiones con Premio for appetizer, then San Pedro for our first main entree, and the second was Molcajete El Patron. We needed to order meat quesadillas for my nephew. Our server, Amarini was sweet! She was knowledgeable about the size of the food and accommodated us well. I think that everyone was welcoming, helpful, and approachable. The service was fast too.
