Date of visit: February 28, 2026…read more Needing something to wash down the Auntie Anne's pepperoni pretzel bites I scarfed down like it was my first meal since escaping a white panel van, I spied Little Man Ice Cream and was pleased to see they offered milkshakes. Shakes are my jam as it's ice cream that doesn't need a spoon and there's no judging from your family because you didn't put it in the microwave. The lone worker was very engrossed in her phone and didn't see me come up, peruse the menu, set down my heavy duffel bag, and place the aforementioned Auntie Anne's cup down loudly on the counter. The only thing that allowed her to break free from the algorithm was another potential patron perusing the cold drinks at the counter. Then and only then did she look up to see me and offer some assistance. She was relatively pleasant in her one word utterances and my shake was made rather quickly. There was some confusion on her part when I asked for the Salted Caramel Peanut Butter flavor, seemed like I knew the flavor name better than she did. Worried about my flight and having been a patron of counter service establishments over the last five years I took the liberty of tilting the Toast tablet in my direction, adding a tip, and printing my receipt while she mixed and shaked my delectable dessert. This too confused her greatly--I should have tipped her more as her confusion tickled me a bit! But in the end, service shortcomings be damned, it was an excellent shake!

They had one person scooping and managing everything and she did a great job, especially with more complicated orders like milkshakes! They carry the majority of the flavors you'd expect to see at Little Man. Considering I'd just gone to one the day before in Cherry Creek, I'd know! Glad to get to try a flavor I didn't get to try the night before. I got a nice hefty scoop at a premium. The price was slightly more than you'd expect to find at the ice cream shop but that's to be expected in an airport!

This place is just ok...to be quite frank, it's below average. Out of the 5 drinks we ordered, I…read moreliked 2 drinks, the Oreo cream puff and strawberry green tea with lychee jelly and crystal boba. The brown sugar boba was disgusting, it was far from your typical brown sugar boba from any boba shop. That stuff was straight up honey and it was sooo strong. My son go to drink is brown sugar boba at all boba shops and the look on his face was just full of sadness. We tried to add more milk to make the drink better but that drink was not fixable. It was the worse brown sugar boba ever. I do not recommend it at all, unless you like to drink pure honey. (Sad thing is, my son absolutely hate honey, so again, just huge disappointment for him) Straight waste of $$$$$ into the trash. I also ordered the passion fruit tea with no ice, there was ice and zero passion fruit flavor, such a bummer. Service was a little nonexistent but the vibe of the shop was cool! There are so many boba shops in Denver area to try out and I'm not in a hurry to go back to this one unless someone I'm with is wanting to go, when I do return, I would love to try the taro cream puff or Vietnamese coffee.

That is usually the case with chain spots, but some can be really good (Teahee/Shiba Boba, for instance) Happy Lemon is a very run-of-the-mill place and may be good if you're introducing someone to these kinds of drinks for the first time. I found the drinks to be on the mild side in terms of flavor, more watered down tea taste than anything else. The bubbles seemed small and were also just okay. The inside is cute, there are plenty of places to sit down and they have some games you can play. It'd be a nice family outing or a place to bring kids. Parking can be kind of tricky when its busy, but I had no issues finding a spot out front. Staff and service were quick and friendly. Overall, I think I would only return here if I was really in the mood for bubble tea and already in the area shopping.

Known for their irreverent style and neon-pink boxes, the Denver Airport location manages to keep the "Keep Weird" spirit alive. The Flavor Lineup: We dived into a curated selection of their signature yeast and cake doughnuts. Here is the breakdown: * The Voodoo Doll: The iconic signature. Beyond the playful aesthetics, the chocolate frosting is rich, and the raspberry jelly filling provides a sharp, tart contrast that cuts through the sweetness perfectly. * Banana Cream Pie: This was a standout. The filling is smooth without being overly synthetic, mimicking the comfort of a classic diner pie. It's a heavy hitter, so come hungry. * Mango Cream: A refreshing tropical twist. The mango flavor is bright and punchy--a nice departure from the more traditional chocolate-heavy options. * Strawberry Pop-Tart: This is pure nostalgia. The crunch of the crumbled pastry on top adds a fantastic textural element to the soft, pillowy dough. The Experience: The staff handles the high-volume airport rush with impressive speed, and the doughnuts tasted remarkably fresh--not "reheated" or stale, which can be a risk in transit hubs. While the line can look intimidating, it moves quickly, and the pink box is basically the ultimate status symbol at the gate.

The fruits sandwich made with shokupan bread was light and fresh, an excellent pick-me-up. This is a standard Japanese snack done beautifully. The mixed berries (a Danish made with croissant dough) was a delight in looks and taste. Neither item was excessively sweet. They were just right. The beef curry wrapped in dough, crusted in panko crumbs, and deep-fried was excellent. The curry itself had real flavor and zest, and the surrounding crust was delicious too. Not only a great accompaniment, but also a very cool way to eat curry with your bare hands. A very generous serving too. My brother got the most beautiful-looking chocolate croissant! And my son bought himself a chocolate cornet, which surprised me by being soft baked dough. Haven't tasted them, but I couldn't wait to post this review. I look forward to trying something with cream cheese or custard next time. Unfortunately they were out of the bacon epi, but that happens with bakeries. Good advice to call the day before if your heart is set on a particular item. We were just lucky to get the rest of the items on our list on a Saturday at lunchtime. My son had been to Japan about two years before and was suitably impressed with this bakery. I was very happy with what we got!
