If your looking for Mexican seafood style this is the place. We tried the fried ahi tacos shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp ceviche. Each was was filled with flavor and fresh. We like it hot so we liberally added the Tapatio. Our kids kept it simple with kids menu items that are also available (chicken nuggets and burrito). The ambiance for lunch was a clean location with large TVs but space for small and large groups. The service was quick and helpful, our server Marlena was great providing insight to favored dishes.

Their chips and salsa is amazing as well. My wife ordered a Cesar salad for her appetizer and it was scrumptious. For our entrees my wife ordered the enchilada combo with one steak and one chicken enchilada, rice and beans. I had the Mar Y Tierra which is two filet mignon enchiladas with an amazing sauce accompanied by two large jumbo shrimps seasoned to perfection resting on their amazing Mexican rice. The food is delicious and their chefs truly know the flavors of Mexico and prepare the dishes to perfection. We took some of our food home. I also had a cup of their coffee and it was fantastic. I love a bold cup of coffee and they hit that right as well. We also took a piece of their butter cake home as their desserts are mouthwatering. Benjamin the GM stopped by to see how the experience was and we had a nice visit. Benjamin is another true professional and we complimented the food, staff and ambiance as we have been here three times now and consistency, cleanliness and perfection is always on target. Chips are served with salsa and refried beans super delicious! The only thing I didn't like was that the ceilings are high and not sound protected so it's very noisy and echoes. The server overcharged us by $20.00 for fajitas by unilaterally deciding to charge us for the larger portion of fajitas, which we did not order. Due to the error, we had to use the ATM a second time (we were charged a 2.99 ATM fee each time). When we informed the server, the server was more concerned with justifying his actions than listening to the customer and making it right. He was also visibly put off by our constructive feedback - "do not give a customer a menu that prices fajitas at $29.99 if you are going to charge the customer $49.99 located on an alternate menu" We are locals and the experience with this server's failure to apologize and insistence on arguing with us has led to our decision to never return to Ricardo's. Instead, we recommend El Maguey, Bravos, El Campeon or EL Molino de Oro - all nearby.
