    Quesadilla Rellena

This was our first time dining here. Let me tell you it was a great experience and we will be back. They accommodated our party of 12 rather quickly. They took our drink orders and brought our chips and salsa. After the drinks were served they took our orders and the food came out about 20 minutes after. Everything came out really fresh. The food had lots of flavor and it was alot. I took a picture of my food after digging in, I had a Quesadilla rellena. Everyone had something different and all the things we ordered were very good. Food amazing, service was excellent. 10/10. We will be back

The food is so good and reasonable priced. It was worth the drive to come here for sure. The building looks like an old Pizza Hut but don't let that discourage you. Food was fresh and tasted great. Service could be better but my Spanish is not great & neither was our server's English so I'm sure the language barrier was a factor. Still wasn't enough of an issue for me to not go back.

My son and I had our first experience at El Azteca last weekend. Surprisingly it was not overcrowded as we were seated immediately. The customer service was welcoming and the food was great. I ordered the birria tacos which were amazing and filling. I washed it down with my favorite drink, horchata. He had the taquito platter which he enjoyed. We plan to return and try other things on the menu.

It was a spontaneous visit on a weekday. The food was delicious and the drink was even better. I highly recommend and I also believe it's BYOB.

Great food, clean restaurant, friendly server. I would go again. You cannot tell a book by its cover on this one, the outside of the building is so so.

My table art. I ate all my food and forgot to take a pic.

my husband and I stopped by here for dinner maybe a year ago and it was so good but I felt the need to come here and rave about it after stopping in to get take out last night-- they now have a full bar with an excellent drink menu!! I sat alone and had two regular margs (and some complimentary chips and and salsa!) while waiting on my take out (I asked they hold the order til I was closer to being ready to leave lol) and it was so nice. Perfect classic margarita!! My American style chicken tacos were awesome and so dank I had to save one for later (order of 3 and they are a good size!) my husband said his steak California burrito was banging and we both loved the Mexican fries. And they gave us more complimentary chips and salsa! Can't beat the price point for authentic fresh Mexican food the bill was under $60 before tip. I am absolutely obsessed and plan on becoming a regular :)

Delicious food. The Vallarta special is my favorite! A lot of food for the price. It's well worth it. Pick up and eat in only.

The first time we…read moretried it, I was battling some dietary restrictions which prohibited me from ordering exactly what I wanted, aka PASTA! It was OK to say the least. Let's be honest, who want's to substitute veggies for pasta?! NOBODY! Oddly enough, the chicken marsala is what keeps me coming back for more! It's superb!!!! Especially over a bed of pasta. Not to mention, the to-go portions could feed a legitimate small army. The only other thing I've tried here is the Chicken Parm, which I was not fond of. It's as basic as it gets- no redeeming qualities. My husband ordered the chicken limone last time which is accompanied by a few very large shrimp! The chicken and sauce was decent. My husband is back on his gluten free journey and he did not have the nicest things to say about the GF pasta. I'm writing this portion on behalf of my husband- in his words, "this is the consistency of glue." And to be honest, he wasn't wrong. It was hard to even force yourself to eat. I'm assuming someone just forgot to take it off the heat. Only one star deducted because between the chicken marsala, portions, and garlic bread, it's good enough to return when having a hankering for said items. We have yet to bite the bullet and try the pizza...stay tuned if we decide to!

I attended RTF's first ever 5 course vegan dinner affair. It was elegantly setup with a piano…read moreplayer, cocktails (zero cocktails as an option) and spoon appetizers as a starter. I was lucky enough to attend an Elite event including RTF beforehand- so I wasn't signing up for this with a completely blind eye. What's nice about RTF being able to have this event is that it might be more accessible to people in the area because it's a one time deal. The meal kit delivery service maybe could be a one time deal too, but I am not sure. I also learned that RTF shines on its own with the meal delivery kit service because they serve fresh food. Purple Carrot, Thistle, and Sakara Life are all frozen (or placed in a refrigerated package) even though accessible nationally. RTF can only deliver in the Philadelphia area and pickup would have to be done in a limited time frame of around ~11-1 on-site on a Monday if not opting for delivery service. Before the meal started, chef Josh introduced his event team. He expressed some personal stories that went into the dishes such as how he created a classier version of hummus on his own from his learnings and desire for hummus. Then something about his mother making the latke. So, he "had to" have a dish based on this and his mother was present at the event. His version of a chef based hummus was creamy with fresh vegetable accessories and it definitely made me like hummus a lot more than your typical grocery store. Third came the risotto dish- my dish was a bit too oily, but fine otherwise. Then, the King Trumpet mushroom platter which replicated a "steak" with the mushroom just being slightly perfectly burnt. At least one of my friends did not like the King Mushroom- they may not be used to pricier things that are a bit different than what they are used to. The cauliflower puree added was essential to make this dish stand out. Lastly, dessert was a lemon black sesame cake with coconut cream and peaches. This was an Internet recipe as Josh is not as big on bakery (if I remember correctly), but the interpretation came out fabulous anyway! It's hard to choose one "best" item as it was a tie between the hummus, King Mushroom dish, and the dessert cake for me. The day ended with optional coffee w brown sugar and a choice of soy milk or oat Milk and a surprise chocolate chip cookies mini gift bag. (All unpictured) When I wanted to speak to Josh as he was in the back area cleaning up, his mother half-jokingly told me that he probably didn't want to hear from her. It looked like his mother pulled him out from whatever he was doing, but he was nice to spend some time with me and hopefully got some good ideas he can implement. We talked about how he had extra ingredients he would not want to waste and I mentioned TooGoodToGo. So, if you see an RTF TooGoodToGo, you heard it here first! Nothing But Love Soulfood Catering uses TooGoodToGo at the Culinary Collective. I learned that there was significant cost to rent the dining area even though rent is already paid to use the kitchen setup of the Culinary Collective. There was cost for the staff and the food is fresh. Many of the ingredients chosen are a higher quality and standard, and people don't always realize this. The availability of various items may not have been known except within a limited time frame.

Now I work in the North East and folks in this part of town really love a chicken cutlet and a seeded roll. I am not a fan of roast pork sandwiches, chicken cutlets or seeded rolls so when my company does a food order I usually stick to pizza or a turkey hoagie (although the Fuzzy Cutlet at Chubby's is interesting and deserves a nod). Today's order was coming from Jack's Place and I was told I could not go wrong with anything that I ordered from here. Still I went with the turkey hoagie and I actually enjoyed it seeded roll and all. The turkey was very fresh, oven roasted and thinly sliced. The lettuce and tomato was also fresh. I asked for hot peppers and thought I might get banana peppers or cherry peppers but they gave me long hots and boy did that pack a punch. I also liked the fact that the sandwich was flat. One of my co-workers ordered an Italian and he was not expecting the olive spread on the bread. He tried scraping it off the roll but said it still made the sandwich taste too olive-y and that no where on the menu does it say there will be an olive spread. It doesn't and it really should and for that and the fact that I could not specify a non seeded roll I lowered my rating. But I would definitely seek out this sandwich again. Oh and the fries were nice and seasoned.
