The steak was tender, but I think more lime would've helped Since the taco was a bit dry. The chicken was delicious. I asked for extra lime and they only gave me one. The owner came over to say hello to my mom and when mom told her it was her birthday, the owner disappeared and came back with 3 shots of tequila, gratis. Nice. Oh and it's affordable to boot. We stepped into a beautiful colorful decor inside. The seating is intimate and not over stuffed. Seating on the side porch is accessible any season. Service, fast, friendly, efficient, and very willing to host questions and make suggestions. Mixed beverages are deliciously tropical. They were smothered with cheese that tasted like plastic. The sauce tasted like watered down tomato paste. The meal didn't taste right and the visual of the cheese piled up on the side of my plate made me feel queasy. It was even sunken into my beans. My gut was telling me to just stop eating altogether.. On top of this, our waiter, Juan, never came by to ask how we were doing or to fill our water.
